No after sales service – Just the worst after sales service ever. Cost me double the cost to rectify their mistakes. Their rudeness and lack of concern still gives me the shivers.

Appalling service – Absolutely impossible for me to get follow up service to correct faulty installation, gas leakage and repeated problems with my Daikon AC unit. Cost me double by the time l got another company to correct Camberwell Electrics installation mistakes. They simply would not take responsibility for their errors. Sales and management simply tried to fob me off. The worst purchase experience l have ever had.

Pretty poor service – Ordered a dryer though beta home Was messed around with my delivery, waited a full Saturday being told via phone and text my delivery was coming. I called close to 5pm for the second time that day only to be told not only was it not coming but wasn’t even in stock. After a few calls over the next week or so it finally arrived damaged. I’d pay the extra and go with appliance online in future

Appalling service – Purchased a range hood and was advised it had 2 motors, on installation, it only had one and the noise level was unacceptable. Had a meeting with the owner who advised 'according to their notes we were told it had 1 motor'. NO NOTES WERE EVER TAKEN and were definitely told it was a dual motor model. receive a replacement which was far more expensive. The salesperson stated to Consumer Affairs we were buying on a limited budget(!), implying it was our fault for our choice, despite it being recommended by their sales person, another lie as we didn't buy against a budget. An appalling experience with an extremely rude organisation. Never shop there.

Very disappointed with a staff and and the price was not correct – It took me 3 times to contact and try to get your sales man to get me a quote on a Rinnai Gas heater. Also the price on the Rinnai your web site is incorrect and should be removed, False advertising.

She claimed my ‘sale’ from an email query, so that she gets the commission and that nobody else could deal with me, then ignored messages and emails, and worst of all, told lies. phone three times, then email again just to place the order. Because nobody else was allowed to 'take her sale'. Really, I should have realised then what I was in for. Being a customer shouldn't be hard work. If the small sale of a ($250) kettle isn't worth your time, let someone else take it, don't hoover up the online contacts.

She finally phoned me last week to say it is being sent. Then I find out today, after waiting yet another week before chasing her AGAIN, that it was actually only sent an hour ago. It's now been over a month since I paid for it and it's still not here. She initially said it would be around 10 days.

I can’t speak for anyone else there, but I definitely would never deal with her again. She is dishonest and I definitely do not recommend buying anything through her.

Delivery and installation of new washing machine – Bob and Richard delivered and installed my machine in a friendly, professional way. And as usual, the price was most reasonable, advice was accurate and the installation, clean and efficient. Having have dealt with Camberwell Electrics for over 30 years, and knowing them for their honesty and transparency, we would not be tempted to trust anyone else especially when it comes to Air Conditioning. promptly and discussed our needs. On Monday morning he had a quote prepared which we accepted, and by 2pm on Thursday the old unit had been decommissioned and the new unit installed. The two people who installed the unit were extremely pleasant and professional and did a beautiful job. Richard was remarkable. A true gentleman. Courteous, caring and intelligent, he left no stone unturned to give us perfect service. We are now enjoying the delicious coolness of a wonderful air conditioner. I would never go anywhere else.

further delays. More than a month after the order I asked for a refund of the money and was advised it will take a couple of days. Nothing happened... further chasing ensued and I got a message almost 2 weeks later telling me that the process was initiated but may take another 5 to 10 days to complete. That's in the year 2020. We'll see... In short, shocking conduct, couldn't care less and happy to sit on your money without delivering anything, deliberately delaying the reimbursement process.

When I approached the other 2 suppliers, they were both aware that their solution was undersized, but wanted to get my business with a low quote. It seems that it is common practice in the business to win a job by quoting on a system that is undersized.

Not surprisingly Camberwell Electrics got my business and have continued to have my custom ever since. All my properties have very happy tenants because the air-conditioning system is properly sized and installed professionally.

If you want to get a properly sized system that does the job, go to Camberwell Electrics.

Waste of a trip – After seeing multiple adverts on Facebook for split systems on sale, clearance items etc.. we decided to do the hour and a half drive to go and have a look, after not getting any proper answers via Messenger. Got there to find a salesman, Richard, who spent 10 to 15 minutes just waffling about things that we really weren't interested in and not answering our direct question, which was how much a certain size unit was. We couldn't cope and left!

Prompt and Knowledgeable Service – Great service, right from the moment that Richard started his explanation of my requirements. Split system Aircon broke down on a Tuesday and I had an exact Daikin replacement at my home 40 hours later. This is my 3rd major purchase from Camberwell Electrics and always happy to return. Worst service in my 50 years of homelife – This store's maintenance/repair service suffers badly from the "British Rail Syndrome" - ie. one can't complain about their service because there isn't any! However, they are discourteous, extremely expensive and time wasting. Don't let them waste yours, go straight to the manufacturer's service department and get professional care. You have been warned! installers said they couldn’t do the job. I waited 4 days for another ‘senior’ installer to call me to come and look at the job. The call only came after I called Camberwell Electrics to advise I wanted a refund of my 70% deposit of $4800. I then spent the next three weeks trying to get my money refunded, which only occurred after visiting the store to confront the owner. Extremely poor communication and zero customer focus.

Air Conditioning: Excellent product, Installation and Service – This was the second quote I received. I found Camberwell Electrics after searching the internet and was impressed with both the store and the staff. The salesman and was extremely helpful and the follow up was exceptional. The installers were efficient and thoughtful. My Air Conditioning has been working most effectively throughout the current heatwave. and organise an alternative unit, emphasising that we were short on time and needed to turn it around quickly. He said he was flat out busy and to call back in a week. When I said this was unacceptable and we would just like a refund, the excuses and the delaying tactics started (even though under consumer law we are entitled to a refund as were recommended a unit which was not fit for purpose). It has now been 4 weeks since we requested a refund and the company refuses to respond to our emails and when we ring, the salesperson is not available and never returns the messages we leave. We have lodged complaints with both Consumer Affairs Victoria and the ACCC and are now having to go down the path of having our credit card company reverse the transaction. Avoid this company at all costs, they will happily take your money but after sales service and support is non existent, they will just avoid you like the plague.
