week, I purchased my ninth Camilla dress at full price, trusting the brand's commitment to delivering value and exclusivity. Imagine my surprise and dismay when, the very next day, the same dress was heavily discounted. I reached out to Camilla to express my concerns and to inquire whether they could offer any recompense or adjustment in light of this timing issue. Regrettably, they did nothing to address the situation or even acknowledge my disappointment.
As a loyal customer, I expected better communication and a fair resolution. While I continue to admire their designs, this experience has left me questioning whether the brand truly values its customers. I hope Camilla takes feedback like mine to heart and considers implementing policies that ensure fairness in pricing and customer satisfaction.
For now, I’ll approach future purchases with more caution and will keep a close eye on their pricing trends to avoid repeating this frustrating experience. While they avoided a discount for a customer, they lost one in the process.
No customer service – I purchased an extremely expensive dress from Camilla. It was over AU$900. I only wore it on special occasions - maybe 4-5 times in total. to email them. Same thing. I finally managed to get hold of a online email address. They strongly urged me to contact the store (Brisbane) that I purchased the dress from. I rang the store multiple times and each time my calls were unanswered. Their voicemail message invited me to leave a message but the facility had been "deactivated". I, again, contacted the online help centre (who had previously told me one of their "angels" would assist). They have yet to reply. Their products are pretty to look at, expensive to buy and there is NO customer service. I would recommend you purchase elsewere.

presentation of the gift and organising the postage, was outstanding. I actually bought a second purse for myself through the online store as well, due to their wonderful service. Their bright and bubbly natures shone through - they are both a credit to brand Camilla!
My friend in WA received her gift within 2 days and she was surprised, delighted and very touched. She loved it and will visit your WA Claremont store in the future.

work hard to spoil themselves, life's pleasures.....But to be dragged down by inelegant behaviour shatters the experience and demeans the clothes. Very mean ‘angel’ that gossips to the other 'angels' and all protect themselves. Even customer care didn't get back to me. The experience didn't end there and what was said in a following phone call could have pushed someone over the edge it was so cruel. You never know what is going on in a persons life and actions of people mean so much. They can make or break a person. Such a shame they behave this way If only the owners knew but they protect themselves and you cannot make contact with the director.
Beautiful and elegant gowns – I purchased 3 outfits and they are beautiful. My favourite gown is a pink pattern kaftan. Although expensive the quality is outstanding and the clothes will go on and on. Show details

Won’t be back – Terrible returns policy and lack of assistance for a poorly designed strap which did not survive even one night while wearing the brand new $700 dress to a dinner. I will not be buying this brand again.
Bad service with empty promises – Totally bad customer services. I was told by both Chatswood and Castle Towers Camilla managers in Jun/July 2022 that I could be a VIP member if I purchased over $5k! I ordered a mini dress that cost $800 and no one call me about it after I ordered the dress. disappointed by both a recent in store experience and an online experience.I understand that times are difficult when it comes to staffing however, this is not an excuse for very poor service and leaving the store feeling not beautiful, or not the correct size or shape. friendly personality is another thing. Perhaps Camilla should focus more on employing staff with a personality than looks! Smiling would have cracked both staff members faces! No assistance was offered and had to ask to try items on. Still nobody offered any assistance. My daughter suggested we just order the items online and walk out. I purchased 2 x Kaftans and the Manger was rude and disinterested. Perhaps business is booming. Remember people who have the means to purchase your products don't always have to look the part. The younger staff member was also just as unfriendly. I sent a complaint to head office and I did receive a prompt response but found it to be a little generic. I was offered a private service at a Camilla store (staff member to personally assist me). Interesting! Would that mean a service so I can purchase another Camilla. Why would I reward Camilla by purchasing another Kaftan when you should be offering me something for putting up with your poor customer service. Sorry I don't think so!
Terrible quality – I bought a Camilla and Marc black logo roll sleeve tee, and the label on the front has disintegrated leaving a clear tape like substance. I followed the care instructions and the black label, front and centre of the t-shirt has come off, making it unwearable. DO NOT BUY, cheap quality, poor customer service, and simply a big rip off.
Static ruined the day – Been buying Camillas for years. at the James Street store in Fortitude Valley Brisbane need a lesson in customer service. They look totally disinterested and offer very little help when questions or advice is asked. Suggest that there are a lot of job seekers out there who would do a much better job and treat their customers with a bit more respect.
Misinformed – I was given a gift voucher for $200 in April 2018 for my birthday. In January of 2019, I went into the Camilla store at Warringah Mall, Brookvale in Sydney. Today, I walked into the same shop, (19 September 2020), only to be told that my gift voucher had expired. When I told the two girls in the store that one of their staff told me I had "years" to use my voucher, they said that the law only came into effect on 1 November 2019.
If the first girl in 2019 told me that, then I would've used the voucher before the expiry date of 13 May 2019. I trusted that she knew what she was saying. As a result of that neglience, Camilla has pocketed $200 for free. The girls simply said, "sorry, but we can't do anything".
It was obvious I was going to spend a lot more money; $200 can't buy anything, so I would've added the balance. Instead of calling a manager and taking some care in finding out who told me the wrong information, they just wiped their hands clean. They not only lost a sale today, but a customer. I won't every be buying another Camilla again.
layby was not explained – my layby happened some time ago . I was also told to pay the whole thing out then get a credit note which i could not afford. So Camilla ended up keeping my money and i wonder how many times that happens. I would have been happy to have my deposit as a credit note, but not the whole amount when i could not afford it at that time. Most companies give you a credit note for your deposit. Its a complete rip off and you kept my money.
