Misleading. Offers discounts for details without mentioning further conditions. Said I would get a discount if I gave them my personal details. Once I had done that, it was, "Oh no, you need to spend at least x amount before you get the discount". If I had known that, I wouldn't have given them my personal details.

pillow case is 45cm across and 78cm? along...but it was so blasted tight, it made the fabric on the pillow become very crinkled, and uncomfortable to boot! I mean, y'know a pillow case is supposed to just pull on, so to speak, not have to STUFF it in like you fighting to get the cat in the cat carrier?! OK, so we email the dudes at Canningvale. "Dudess" gets back to me via email and says, words to the effect, "well, it your fault because on the website it fully explains what the pillow cases are made of"....so there?! It's my fault the pillow case only has one side of silk. The photos on the page show "only silk", and not the "whatever" the white fabric is. But here's the thing, the silk, when on the pillow fabric (that was badly crinkled) makes a dreadful grinding noise when you move the side of the face on it...are you kidding me?! So, we have ditched the $50 pillow, and gone back to my $16 BigW pillow, and my Kmart silk pillow-case...and "revelation" they fit perfectly. The crew provided a full refund. The owner of the show has his photo on a promo card they put in the box, and he's absolutely laughing. If we had the audio, it would be something like "Gotcha"?!

A couple of years ago I purchased the Belgian linen quilt Cover and sheets only to find the material to be so scratchy. It was like sleeping on sandpaper. Hoping the sheets would soften after a couple of years but still the same sandpaper. Terrible, low quality material…I feel so ripped off. Do not buy. I should have stayed with Sheridan, a much more superior product.

Superb- you won’t be disappointed – I highly recommend the Canningvale Lustro Bamboo range. I had been left longing for the same quality and feel of the lustro range ( I could no longer find them in Target and longed to find a place to buy the same sheets again. After some digging I found that Canningvale are in fact an online Australian company and was over the moon to find the lustro range still available.

These sheets are so cooling (I live in Darwin) where the humidity reaches 90%. These sheets keep myself and my girls comfortable and cooler at night time. Two of my children have allergies and often get itchy at night. These sheets are the only ones that prevent that from happening. I added a lustrous duvet cover into my last order and wish I had ordered more. I have never had a better nights sleep than with this bedding.

Thank you Canningvale for creating these superbly soft and breathable sheets.

** a final note, one out of three sets after washing left a streak from where they had been folded in transit. Molly, a Canningvale customer service representative, responded to my concern immediately and used express post to rectify the order. Amazing customer service!

also a couple of centimetres wider than the “standard sizing” which means many sheets don’t fit properly. I also size the quilt up so buy super king quilts and quilt covers.

Overview When I received my first canningvale order as part of their birthday sale I have to say I was underwhelmed and my first impression was that they felt thin compared to what I am use to. I had purchased the Vintage Softwash Cotton deep sheet set. Even though I wasn’t sure I thought I would proceed.

I did the initial wash before using and they washed well and felt soft but crisp at the same time. I used wool wash and no fabric softener on cool wash setting. Given they aren’t thick, they dry really quickly on the line. I don’t iron my sheets and quilts covers and am not obsessed about how creased they may be when they come out of the wash so I wont comment on that aspect other than to say its not something I have noticed to be problematic with these sheets.

Where my first impressions started to improve was in making the bed. The Vintage softwash in the deep sizing is very large and made making the bed a breeze. The sizing is definitely a big bonus. Based on how big the deep sheet is, I subsequently tried the regular size Vintage softwash cotton and found that they also fit my larger bed. Time will tell whether they shrink with usage over time but so far the Vintage softwash has been good. I cant say the same thing for the Alessia Bamboo Cotton.

After sleeping in the Vintage Softwash Cotton I was even happier. They are very comfortable to sleep in. This is where you can tell that its good quality cotton and being only 225 thread count means they are light and pleasant in warmer weather.

Based on sale price, generous sizing and sleep comfort I have purchased additional sheets and quilt covers in the Vintage Softwash cotton. I look forward to them further softening with additional washes.

I haven’t tried returns or using their customer service. But based on responsiveness to product questions asked online, feedback from other reviewers and the comments from Canningvale I feel comfortable that it wouldn’t be an issue.

Pros -good sized pillow cases. There is plenty of room for various sized pillows -generous sized fitted sheets and flat sheets. The deep sheet set is awesome but the standard sizing is also more than adequate. -comfortable to sleep in and work well in warmer weather -Vintage softwash cotton stays in place and doesn’t slip up the mattress -use good quality cotton (thread count isn’t the be all when it comes to bedding) -easy maintenance and dry quickly - regular sales make them value for money -Australian company (noting the sheets are manufactured overseas) -fast delivery and good communication regarding your order -many of their products are backed by a 5 year warranty -loyalty points when you join the Home Lovers Club -Free shipping on orders over $99 -offer happiness guarantee (but there are limits on the application of this ie 1 order per household per year)

Cons -the sheets do tend to be thinner than other brands I have used (but you can tell its good quality cotton). -limited number of colours and patterns available. Ok for me as I colour block but sometimes its nice to have some variation in a quilt cover. -they don’t clearly publish what thread count or GSM their products are. You have to ask them or check whether other customers have previously asked a question. Eg Vintage Cotton softwash is 225 thread count. -Alessia Bamboo sheets shrunk even though they had not gone into the dryer. -the quilt cover have the ends stitched in at the opening (like many other brands do) which makes changing super king quilt covers using the sausage method more difficult. Sheridan quilts don’t do that (the opening goes all the way across) and believe me it makes a difference. I would recommend to canningvale that they change that aspect of the design. -not worth the full price but are value for money when on sale -once they have your email address, you will receive lots of emails from them -there are limits on the number of loyalty points you can use per transaction and you also have to have a minimum spend of $99 to be able to apply the maximum points you can use. You also cant redeem loyalty points and use a discount code at the same time. This makes it harder to use the points you have earned. -it is disappointing and surprising that canningvales 1000 thread count sheets are a polyester /cotton blend. I haven’t purchased them for that reason but if they made 100% cotton 1000TC I would.

Tips -never pay full price for canningvale. If its not on sale the day you are looking at buying then it shortly will be. They seem to have sales happening constantly. -if you are buying the Alessia bamboo sheets then it might be worth buying the deeper sheets (50cm) as I found that the bamboo sheets shrunk even when washed on cool setting and line dried. -don’t try to save up loyalty points as there are limits on usage. Use them whenever you don’t need to apply a discount code

Would You Recommend Yes I would recommend canningvale bedding and in particular the Vintage softwash cotton sheets and quilt covers (and I have) but only if you are getting it on sale. For larger beds the 50cm fitted sheet is very good.

Not only were they going to offer me an apology on my experience, they offered to send me two sets of sheets which would fit what I was looking for…AND it arrived on Christmas Eve. How good is that?

They never even asked me to write a review but just hoped I was a happy customer. Which I am-it is absolutely the best after sale customer experience I believe I have received.

The sheets they sent me were good, still relatively thin but kept its quality even after in the washer and the dryer.

The quality is comparable to Sheriden sheets these days. I would say the quality is better or on par with Sheriden.

Bought these sheets many years ago, 5 years warranty. Sheets lasted 3 1/2 years before they pilled, tore and faded badly. Stashed them aside forgetting that they had the 5 year warranty. Absolutely terrible – I bought a Canningvale Waffle blanket King size, it shed everywhere. I advise people not to buy this product. I paid $119.99 on special and it shed so bad we cannot use. A complete and utter waster of money. Buyer Beware. As they didn’t answer we could not negotiate please do not purchase this product it’s disgusting. Excess fluff – Had these put away for ages. Charcoal Canningvale bath sheets, lovely feel but still shedding after 4 washes. Put 2 in drier & had to empty lint filter after half hour. Hope it improves Leaves dark lint all over your skin & tub. Hope it improves

Canningvale bath sheet review – Purchased the egyptian royale bath sheets...what a mistake. Cheap quality inferior cotton used to produce a continually shedding towell. Washed numerous times with no reduction in shedding. Avoid.

Lovely, luscious towels and sweet candles! – Love their products. Just bought a new apartment and the towels go perfectly with the tiles in the bathroom. Haven't Even Received My Canningvale Sheets! – I would love to review my sheets, however after ordering two weeks ago, they haven't been shipped yet! Very frustrating experience given I have just purchased a new bed (different size) and it has arrived, so has the mattress and quilt covers but Canningvale still haven't even shipped my new sheets yet. Wouldn't order from these guys, unless you don't mind a long wait.

Towels thin but service excellent – Ordered two bath towels but unfortunately were very thin so only 3 stars for product. Very disappointing. More like Target towels. However customer service was excellent with processing refund so 5 stars for them

Egyptian Royale Towels – Thick, sumptuous and luxurious is how I would describe these highly absorbent bath sheets. Incredible quality and look amazing in my bathroom.
