Don't ever put a deposit down if your unsure
I put a down payment for a rug but then immediately changed my mind. But Carpet Call refused to give my deposit back. I have many rugs and flooring to buy but I won't be using Carpet Call ever again. Its like once they have your money they won't give it back despite that I would have been an excellent customer for you. Show detailsRipped off and overcharged
Horrendous service. The installers are rude and the salespeople overestimate the quantities you need to increase the sale. They do not run through the process of laying the carpet or give options of how that can be done. Therefore when you are left with metres and metres and metres of carpet left over, Carpet Call claim that it was unavoidable. When pressed about it and holes pointed out in their explanations, management gets defensive, rude and ghost you. Conveniently overlooking the fact that they didn’t check their stock levels before coming out to measure and therefore couldn’t supply the carpet colour we chose. So THEY sold our second choice to us at a matched price to keep the sale. Then tried to use that as a reason for not being able to refund any of the oversupplied carpet. The whole thing seemed like they did it intentionally to recoup their money of the substitution. The most offensive part is that the customer pays for the carpet and then you also pays for installation of that carpet. The large amount of carpet that IS NOT INSTALLED, still attracts the install charge.!!! Customer service don’t care. The management doesn’t care. Promised call backs that don’t happen. Terrible. Go to one of the many competitors and don’t feel ripped off!Terrible
Disappointing and would probably not use this shop again. (3) trips to finalise the selection and installation and each time, new or temp staff had no record of my previous visits so needed to repeat my personal information, address, carpet selection etc. each time over again. Install date was then changed twice. Finally, installer arrived and quickly left. Furniture too much for him to move, even though it was a 10min job for me and the tennant to fix. Shop had failed to send details of customer obligations. The next installer that arrived demanded more than the accepted quote to move the furniture. All in all a terrible experience. Have paid 50% deposit still no date for Install more than 2 months on. Tenant has now moved in with no blinds on windows.
Customer service doesn't reply.
Had hard flooring and carpet layed as well.
Only hard flooring had no complaints.

Lies, lies and more liesProblem Solved
After the initial carpet was laid very well I might add, the product itself developed a fault.After some investigation and correspondence with the Sydney Operations Manager it was decided that the carpet should be replaced.
On the day and at the time arranged, Ali, Adam & Billy (I hope I got the names right) arrived and proceeded to remove the faulty carpet and replace it with the new.
They worked extremely hard for at least eight hours straight. They assisted with the moving of a lot of heavy furniture and the workmanship in the laying of eight large rooms two hallways and the stairs is superb.
I would like to add my personal thanks to the team and the operations manager for making it all happen and a beautiful result.
A wholesome experience
This is my first time using Carpet Call to lay carpets at my home and they did a fantastic job. Kai and his layers from Castle Hill worked non stop from the time of arrival. This is a commendation for the Carpet Call, Frankston, Victoria Store. It was a pleasure to deal with the team. I rang the Store Manager John at 9am 12th Jan 2024. He said the sale rep Simon would be attending my place at 12noon. Simon arrived on the dot of 12 noon, thoroughly explained the costs of the installation and removal and disposal of the existing carpet. On 29th Jan, Rob the installer rang and asked if he could come at 2pm to do the installation. I was overjoyed. Very impressed with Rob's craftsmanship and efficient installation in record time. It was like magic. The room has been beautifully transformed. On 1st Feb, Liam rang at 8.30am and said he would be at my place in 15mins and he was. My elderly mother had her carpets installed by Carpetcall. There were significant issues with damage to the furniture they moved, chips, dents and scrapes on external and internal external woodwork and paintwork.Despite promises from the area manager these would be resolved, only inadequate/minimal compensation (refund of $200 installation fee that had been paid) which doesn’t cover costs of repairs

Excellent, knowledgeable service from Massi and his staff at Castle Hill Carpet call.Massi and Najib helped me choose the right carpet and hybrid flooring for our renovation. Massi was very patient with all my requirements and provided me with expert advice. AS we were laying Hybrid flooring over tiles it was very important to me that scocia beading was not used along walls. HIs installer did an excellent job at removing old skirting and replacing with new for a perfect modern look. Carpet layer sent was also extremely fast and professional. We had an appalling experience with Carpet Call throughout the whole process. I have never dealt with such an unprofessional company, who have absolutely no interest in providing good customer service.The salesman lied to us initially, saying if we paid a deposit the flooring we chose would be kept on hold on for us until we were ready to install. This was not the case and 2 days before install we were told it was out of stock, when I asked what happened to the stock that was on hold for us, I got a blunt response “well, we don’t do that”.

They were efficient and came to measure our home the same day we visited the store, and then were available quite quickly to install. They were willing to negotiate on price with us and were more affordable than Carpet Court. The carpet installer Mikey did a really great job, particularly dealing with some difficult stairs and previously poorly laid carpet he had to remove. Can i get a refund on my installation after cancelling
What is the appropriate preparation for laying hybrid over tiles? We are not happy with our installation and now moisture has affected the hybrid planks. Carpet Call are insistent it is water damage and therefore not covered under warranty. We believe they did not prepare the floor correctly.
I have booked for a flooring job, replacing carpet with laminate through a carpet Court store in Melbourne. The amount requested to make the booking was very high, I paid 2900 with only 1000 remaining balance. Job is booked for mod January (in 10 days). Now I have incurred a personal issue die to Covid and unable to proceed. Will they refund the deposit I paid? When I called this week I was told it depends if they have already purchased the material.
