Eventually on the day it was due delivery they gave me their actual carriers phone number only to be told the car was still in Sydney (been there for a month) and it wouldn't be delivered for another 2 weeks. car booked in. I rang carcarrying.com and spoke to [Name removed]. She explained to me that the guy I spoke to on the phone was new and shouldn't have told me which trucking company was delivering my car as it hadn't been booked in anywhere. This was on the Thursday before the Easter long weekend.

I excepted this, people make mistakes, and asked what my options were. She suggested I find somewhere else myself or wait till they find somewhere and then I drop it off to another truck depot. I explained that I'm not from Cairns and that I'm leaving town tomorrow via plane. She said maybe I could leave it at a mates house and they pick it up from there. I didn't know anyone so I suggested maybe I could leave it at the hostel I was staying at.

Up until this point we were both speaking politely to each other, [Name removed] said that if I was to leave it somewhere to be picked up as opposed to dropping it off at a depot then I would be charged a little extra for that. I replied "I don't want to pay extra for someone elses mistake". [Name removed] then said "Don't give me attitude". I hadn't, but when she said that 2 more times I gave her attitude. After I corrected her phone manner we agreed that I would leave it at the hostel.

Anyway after 2 weeks no one came to pick it up. I cancelled the order and was informed I would received a refund within 5 days. I received a refund after 2 weeks 3 phone calls and an email. I will not be using their services again!

Rude, inept and dishonest - AVOID! – Their attitude deteriorated as soon as payment was made. All details of transport changed i.e. became much longer (extra 2 weeks). Staff were rude and arrogant. the transport. Carcarrying have no tracking what so ever. They hand it over to 3rd party contractors and wash their hands of any responsibility of delivery.

We got the depot number from carcarrying and called that direct. Much more helpful however they said all their drivers are going on holidays and it wouldn't be delivered until the new year. I understand a few days delay just before Christmas is bad timing and it would have most likely arrived within a day or so more if it were not for the holidays. But because having no car for 2 weeks was driving us insane we went and picked it up from the depot directly, since it was only 20 minutes away.

Car was filthy, the same as reported by others. Red dust on the outside as well as on the inside. How they got so much red dust on the inside I don't know? I would be fine with the dust on the outside but the a little more care on the inside would have been appreciated. Luckily no damage to the car that I have spotted. However I think the fact that it wasn't damaged was luck and not due to any extra care taken by the delivery contractors.

Overall, car arrived undamaged but filthy inside and out. No followup or correct delivery dates were given by Carcarrying and they don't know anything about your car during any part of the transport, you have to get the contractors or depot number directly and call them.

By this stage I was livid so I tracked down the contractor and he then confirmed that it was still sitting in the yard in Brisbane and that it'll be on the next truck. Now 26days have passed and still no car.. Still sitting in Brisbane.. Demanded to speak with the manager [name removed] at car carrying.com.au and his excuse was because it had a lift kit they couldn't get it on previous trucks to Perth.. I let fly as this is a stock car with no lift kit.

Moral of the story is don't ever book with your car transport with carcarrying.com.au. Once they have your money they couldn't give a toss about delivery of their services you've paid for. Your car will most likely bake out in the open sun as mine is and may be delivered any time between when you booked it and well whenever they feel like they can get it there. Nothing, poor customer service.

Damaged my car – I got my car transported from Melbourne to the Gold Coast. When I got there I noticed a tremendous amount of damage to the side skirting. They specified a minimum height for the car which my car was over. After spending a few moths trying to get it resolved, they eventuallt told me to get three quotes, which I did find the time to do. Eventually I gave up and sold the car.

would be well cared for. So I booked it... They took my CC details, charged me the full amount Then sent me an email. The email had all sorts of "conditions" and that any stated time frame was only an estimate. OK, fair enough, things can go wrong but why not tell me on the phone.

Then things did go wrong.. 10 days after patiently waiting and not hearing a thing, I decided enough was enough and started calling the company. They had no idea where my car was. "we'll get in touch with the contractor". After three days of hounding, I got an email stating my car will be delivered on "a date". Two days before, I called and confirmed, the day before I called and confirmed, as I was supposed to be contacted by phone but heard nothing. Delivery day came and no car. I rang in the afternoon and was told that Carcarrying would contact the contractor (again).

3 days passed and still no advice, so I rang again. I asked to be put in contact with the contractor, they refused to provide the details. I asked where it was and was told "as far as they were concerned it was delivered last week". Now I was wild and demanded who had it and its location. They wouldn't tell me who had it but told me it was in Sydney. (Not even between where it was going). I again asked for the contact number of the person in possession of my car. They denied and said you are to deal with us. I advised them this is tantamount to stealing and their reply was "Well No it isn't, you contracted us, you deal with us". They had no idea who had the car, said they had no phone numbers and the only way they do business is by email between contractors! What professional company does business by email?

I demanded the info on who had my car and again was denied. The company undertook to "contact the contractor" and get back to me.

By mid afternoon, I still had not heard from them. I decided to investigate myself so I had as many facts as possible before going to the Police. After several phone calls to general car transporters, I located the vehicle.

Long story short, it was sitting in a yard in Sydney (not part of the journey) with a contractor who was further contracting it out back to my city and they had asked for another contractor to pick it up but failed to tell them where their new depot was. As the contractor holding it has numerous vehicles in transport and plenty of business and the third contractor has plenty of business as well and it was not their contract, neither could give stuff about chasing it up and that is where it sat, out in the open in the weather.

So, if you want to use the internet middleman, carcarrying.com.au, don't expect any sympathy when it goes bad. Don't expect to even find out where carcarrying operates from.

During my inquiries ringing many companies, two stood out as very helpful and sympathetic and I thank them for helping me, an idiot who used carcarrying.com.au; Campbelltown car carriers and Carways Pty Ltd. They actually suggested who to call and explained how this carcarrying.com.au is destroying the industry with their poor service. The two listed are real companies, with real addresses and real trucks. Make your own decision!

they then told me there was no depot but rather the truckie would let me know when they're in town and I would have to drop my car off to the truckie- time and whereabouts not known.

I rang up several times before the scheduled day to ascertain this information as I had a feeling they would stuff me around on the actual day. On actual scheduled day truckie never called me, I got no call from carcarrying themselves and called them at least 5 times that day to ascertain info as to where the truckie might be. Every time they gave me different stories and said they would call me back but never did. Next day still nothing, again I had to be the one to call and make contact and seek answers, still same thing of different stories, excuses and no return calls. They then tell me they may pick up my car next week- one week on from the scheduled day- blaming it on truckers and other contractors.

It's just not good enough!! How can you stuff people around like that and stuff up their plans which hinge on getting this car picked up. No apology, no nothing. I will ring up tomorrow and make sure I get a refund. Absolutely appalled that a company can be so unprofessional and ruthless in taking your money but no actual service. Disgusting.

Worst car transport company ever!!!! – We moved our car from Darwin to Airlie beach. We were told it would take 5-10 working days. It took 5weeks. We paid extra for depot to door. They left our car on the side of the Bruce Hwy with the keys in it. A 40min trip from Airlie Beach. We were about to report our car as stolen. The sales team keeps telling us someone will call us back. It never happened.
