Do not use this company! They are deceptive, poor customer service, even when you call to enquire about specific details of the cover they evade the question and it is not until you need to make a claim you find out the truth. Do not buy Capesh car insurance – submitted the claim for minor damages where i was at fault and it has taken 3 months and still no assessment despite asking me to pay the excess. the assessment all over again. When i communicated my frustration via email I received no response and am still calling them. Each time they apologies and nothing happens. Whilst the policy was cheaper than most it looks like you get what you pay for. Do not recommend and will be taking this to the insurance ombudsman.

Policy – Worst ever experience in getting car repaired sent to there smash repairer who write the car of in few minutes in that time only took a few pic of the 2 passanger doors which were damaged and quoted at $7800 to repair Took it to my local repairer and was quoted,$2500 to repair ,disputed the finding ,which was to no avail as car had supposedly already been put on the written of registrar, never again carpessh by Show details

Perfect services – My claim got approved quickly, and I got the reimbursement for the cost for driving recode the next day when I provided the receipt. team prompt, responsive, and proactive. My recommendation, if you know how to use smartphones and its app, go for it... otherwise, sorry boomers, learn to use the app or just go with hassle free (bit more pricey) insurance.

about it, I was told someone would call me back the following day but 24 days later I have still not have not had a call back. When I went onto Compare the Market, the quote for Carpeesh was $1,137.29 but the policy sent to me is $1,830.97 - quite a big difference in cost. I am very disappointed & I will not be renewing my policy with Carpeesh.

Disappointed in my claim – Was terribly disappointed with my experience with Carpeesh that made me take my business elsewhere once my claim was completed. From the very first experience where I was asked to draw up the account of the accident as a sketch which I found laughable to the next encounter which the assessment was deemed my fault when the damage to my vehicle… Read more

proved otherwise, that being the expert opinion of two separate panel shops. However, the final straw was the so called Carpeesh App that doesn’t work properly and is so heavily relied upon by Carpeesh. Would never recommend Carpeesh to anyone else. Policy is never good value when the assessment is incorrect and it costs you money. The App was very hard to set up, requiring two separate phone calls and then still didn’t work. My claim took about 12 weeks which I found far too long. Again the experience was awful and very stressful.

I was left having to pay the access that carpeesh advised me would be reimbursed and provided a timeline of 8 weeks, it has been 4 months now and carpeesg have not… Read more

provided any communication as to when I will be reimbursed. My accident was considered a hit and run as I was in a hole and did not collect all of the at fault drivers details. I collected enough for carpeesh to pursue the driver though. $900 is a lot to pay for someone who wasn’t at fault especially in todays economy.

Fast, reliable and lovely – The customer service I received was always absolutely lovely. Everytime my call was answered within minutes and each representative was happy to help with anything I had questions on. As someone under 25 I was excited to find a policy that was actually affordable. Unacceptable – The worst car insurance company in my 50 years of driving. Lesson learnt, read the reviews first. They all say the same thing, rude, no frills of insurance. Hold on to your claims for weeks and weeks. The information they wanted before starting the claim was absolutely ridiculously stressful and completely unrealistic. fault! I’ve been passed on to a different person every time and get absolutely no where. This has been the most frustrating situation and my car is still damaged, all the while this woman who hit me is driving around scot free. Spend the extra money and go with NRMA. It’s really the only reputable company left!

is my personal car to get my kids around and myself to and from work. Carpeesh advised because he was an unfit driver as he lost his license twice within 5 years with saying this I do understand the conditions but wasn’t aware or didn’t expect the my car was being use other wise I would have stated to my husband these in which he was unaware of and obviously didn’t know this accident was going to take place, mind you at the time I thought he was taking his own car this one mistake cost me everything they would not cover him nor the car and MYSELF am now left with nothing with no help from them at all it was left at telling me not to go forth with the claim as it would be denied they where thought still happy to keep the insurance on my car the was written off which was absolutely outrageous all they wanted was my money, I have no funds to buy myself a new car iv had to quit my job and getting my kids around is a constant battle of trying to find lifts or use my husbands car in which is needed for him to run our business I for one have suffered alot by having no income and no car for my family, there was no sympathy nor empathy for leaving a mother of 2 with absolutely nothing, have been paying this insurance for no reason for 2-3 years that they where more then happy to take. Worst Australian car Insurance Company – They are the worst Aus Insurance Company that we have come across. Cheap n nasty. When a claim is lodged they would request all sorts of info n even look into your spouse’s details although they ar not on the policy. They will also find ways to delay the process by asking further info after submitting their first request. When u argue your point across this one member cuts u off all the time n u ar not allowed to speak to someone else. Show details

They do not care about you or giving customer service – My wife was hit from behind, and Carpeesh made her feel like she was a criminal. They were threatening to make her pay more on her premiums because she hadn't loaded their app on her phone. Then she had to run around for over a week getting her driving history and previous companies she was insured with for the last five years. They did NOTHING… Read more
