Poor finishing and cabinetry – Although l think our building is very good it's the finishing touches that fail. The cabinetry is not very good. Quite a few of our drawers do not close properly. it. The painting was redone in the main living area but overall a very poor standard. Unfortunately the builder who built our home is no longer a part of Cavalier. So l don't know what to do now. I know these are not big issues but it's sad when you build for the first time and don't get your dream home.our evaporative cooling has had issues from the start. Despite several repairs the problem is still ongoing. We have tried to contact the contractor who came to repair it but so far no response from them or Cavalier
No aftercare poor heating and cooling – I'm so disappointed in Cavalier homes. After my last review they did contact us but nothing was done. So unfortunately our problems are ongoing. Our evaporative cooling has never worked properly despite a tradesman fixing it on 3 occasions. Our laminate flooring looks uneven due to unlevel concrete. Now we find out our solar hot water hasn't been working for quite some time. It was NEVER turned on. Just had a tradesman to look at it. Show details
