Poor customer service (Sunshine store)
Terrible customer service! I placed an order and paid. Next day I phoned to check, had to wait 30 minutes for answer. I was 7th in the queue, no problem, waited patiently and finally got down to 0. Then I waited 10 minutes expecting someone to answer. Instead, my queue number jumped up back to 3?! Waited another 10 min. and finally someone answered. Based on this experience I wouldn't recommend them to others. Yet to be seen about delivery and product quality.

Centrecom provides cheap computers & peripherals to the Australian community highly recommended good value for money. this will be my second computer I am purchasing off Centre Com the first one was a centrecom computer the vindicator and let me tell you for that $1,000 that I spent on it I have literally a super computer for the next several years these guys are amazing support them please thank you. And do yourself a favour save some bloody money.
Shipping is always on time, quality online shopping experience and decent prices. Bought all my core components for my high end system from this store with no regrets. Easy to navigate website, wide range of products and all of exceptional quality as expected.

Have purchased a wide variety of PC hardware over the years and value and speed of service has always been great. All have been online purchases as I am not lucky enough to have a store local. Have never had any issues at all.
Never had a problem with Centrecom online
Ive bought a couple of laptops and desktop components from Centrecom last five years. Always delivered the goods at the right price. I always check what they can do before pulling the trigger on computer tech purchases.

I was laughed at by Centre com
ordered a new UPS after a week still no delivery, Phoned Centre com and was laughed at $343.17 later and still no word when I will receive it, states it will be resolved, but when, no time frame is given, I live only 10 Mins from Sunshine store, use delivery services as I am Disabled, very bad service and disappointing verbal response.
Take 2 weeks to dispatch
I ordered a custom build PC in 11/07. it stays Pending build for 2 weeks, then I have to talk with them many times to cancel assembly work and ship the part directly to me.
Time to response is very slow. bad customer services.

Dodgy and Bad customer service
Ordered a wrong graphic card by accident. Emailed them 5 minutes after to cancel. Next hour or so got multiple emails showing it has been dispatched to Australia post. Emailed them again to say I had canceled, why did they put order through. More emails came in again showing invoice and tracking number with email totally ignored. Checked tracking number and it still doesn't exist after 3 days. Clearly, they were trying their best for it not to be canceled and probably hasn't even been dispatched yet. Not impressed with this kind of business attitude.

Where is my purchase?
Made the mistake of ordering some items from this 'company'.
Order was placed on the 14th of July. Only 1 item at the time was marked as 'pre-order'. Everything else was in stock. Monitor was due in on the 17th (ETA) Checked the invoice and everything looked good. Also noted at the bottom of the invoice, "Please Note: If the parts were in stock when you made the purchase they'll be allocated to you, even if the status changes to "sold out" later."
Sent an email to confirm the only item waiting was the monitor. Received a reply a day later, ye...s will be shipped once it arrives. 19th rolls around. Email them back after checking the invoice and seeing a lot of things marked as 'pre-order' confirming it would be sent in a couple days. Reply was less than thrilling. 'We are currently waiting on the RAM for your order. Its ETA is the 07/08. After emailing back explaining it was in stock when i placed the order and their own site says it should of veen allocated to me. Didn't get a reply. 22nd rolls around. Still not reply I email them back asking where my order is. And now today early morning on the 25th I see an email from them. Telling me that it is the case that's currently holding up the order. And that I need to either cancel the case and get a refund. Or pick a different case that they have 'in-stock'. Not sure if I can edit this later or not or if I can comment. But I'll try and keep you updated! Should also note. My order had some time sensitive things in it. Which needed to be delivered by the 31st of July. Which was made clear after I found out about the RAM

Don't believe a word they say. Paypal dispute to get money back. They have become dodgy.
Centrecom online will tell you 24hr / stock delivery fast and/or free delivery.
Walk in purchases are the only true way to be sure of anything they say.
Here is my second bad online order with them this year.
Order placed with for two items in stock 14/07/2020 and 24/07/2020 and still no order sent.
They claim on 21/07/2020 order will be sent 24/48 hours.
They claim on 24/07/2020 order will be sent by 3pm today
15 weeks and still waiting!

Keen to take your money, deliver what you've paid for.....not so much!
They have provided estimated delivery dates, the dates come and go, I then chase them up and I get another date. Just seems to go on and on...
All great if the item is fine but if it isn't your in for a long wait.
The purchase and postage were great, received the item within 5 days. Unfortunately the graphics card was faulty. I contacted Centre com and the return process was also excellent and well done however that's where everything stopped. I received no word that the item had arrived back at Centre com so a week after I sent the item I contacted Centre com. They informed me they had the item but that they were really busy and hadn't had a chance to look at it yet. I asked for an estimate of time and got a vague 'I'll escalate it in the queue' but no ...guarantee of anything. I stressed that I had been sent a faulty product and it was up to them to fix the issue and not me me wait forever. They said it needed to be testing on the bench for a number of hours. I explained that the issue happens as soon as you plug the card in so timed testing wouldn't be needed. Was told that's great and they would get onto it. I called back three days later as I had heard nothing and was told they still had not even looked at the card but it would be elevated in the queue. I asked for a definite time frame as I needed the card now and was given a vague response about them needing to test the card and then contact the manufacturer and then organise a replacement. I asked why they couldn't just send me a new one and they deal with the manufacturer and was told that's not how it's done. This is totally unacceptable so I asked for my money back and I'll buy elsewhere. I'll update this once I have received my refund but I suspect I'll need to contact Consumer Affairs to have that happen.

ordered 3 different components within 2 hours my Order was processed and within 3 it was dispatched arrived in under 27 hours and with enough bubblewrap to protect my stuff overall quick service and proper packing diligence
Restocking fees for selling online.
Terrible And fraud customer service. Ordered the wrong product by mistake within a day I called up and asked for exchange of product. I offered to bear all postage charges for my mistake but still they charging restocking fees just to put back to shelf to resell it. Won’t recommend buying from them. Crooks☹️
One star because it won’t allow me to give Centre Com no stars.
Ordered a monitor from them back in April 2020. Of course everything is held up thanks to Covid19. I get that. So over the course April-July I get three emails from them informing of a revised ETA date for my order. I say ‘informing’ - that doesn’t quite depict the curtness and simple rudeness of their communication style. But whatever, I wait patiently and never complain.
Finally we get to July 2020 and I get an email from them with no greetings or niceties or indeed any detail...of my order. It simply tells me tracking number is ‘....’ and I can track via the AusPost site. So a week passes and I decide to see where my long waited for monitor is up to only to find it is listed as damaged and delivered. Wondering how long it would take for Centre Com to contact me about this, I couldn’t be sure they would bother so I emailed them. They replied the next day telling me simply that a replacement would take about six weeks. No offer of swapping to another brand of monitor, no call to apologise for the simply ridiculous wait. Not even a sorry our logistics provider trashed your item. Just it will be six weeks.

Terrible customer service. Won't let me return brand new product that wasn't clearly advertised. Don't buy from centre com. I spent over $5000 on their website and when I went to return a brand new laptop purchased from there as it was not up to standard they refused and rudely ignored my emails. Now I have a useless laptop. Don't even bother trying to call them. The phone just rings out. For a company making millions in covid it's just greedy. Terrible service. Avoid at all costs

Ordered a monitor, which has now been delayed for the third time, with no communication from the store. No way to contact online sales as they never answer the phone, or reply to emails. To say im disappointed is an understatement. IF it wasnt for the fact they have physical stores, i would be calling this a scam. EXTREMELY ANGRY!
