manufacturer, who agreed that it needed to be returned to where I bought it. Took it back to centrecom less than a week after purchasing it, still in the box, with receipt and transcript from the manufacturer. Centrecom said that it worked for them, so they couldn’t verify the fault, so they wouldn’t replace or refund it. “The best” they would do was ship it to their lab to try to recreate the fault, which would necessitate another hour of travel for me once they were finished their messing around. Repeatedly told me it was a “change of mind” return, which they don’t accept, even though it was a “not fit for purpose” return, because it didn’t work for me. I was previously a loyal centrecom customer, but, honestly, I wouldn’t shop there after this. Centrecom prices aren’t really low enough to take the risk that, if you buy a dud, you’re stuck with it. I can’t think of another company who would have refused this return- I’d have been better off buying the same thing from amazon, which is a sad state of affairs.

it come to calling customer support and hours of waiting on the phone for someone to pick it up
So after days of headache, we finally decided, it need to be send to the centre to get a look at
Pick up will be from 9am to 5pm, very specific…so I have to get a day off of work, and guess what…. No-one came
So I have to get another day off again( mind you, I lost moneys (wage + commission) for not be a able to work for those 2 days)
When the laptop is being look up, I ask them to do a total check up if there are any other problems and from the look of it, they only find the battery is dead so it got replaced
I wasn’t really happy that after only 2 months, there are already problems with it, but time was more important to me so I decide to accept that damaged laptop back
After 1 month when I got it back
The laptop start to have problem every second days (let’s not get into details since it will make this review way too long)
So I decided to ask the company to send me a new one and repeatedly ask them NOT to give a refund
Is it too much to ask, if I just want a new/ undamaged laptop like every other customers got from day one?
After 1 month of waiting (half a year from when I purchased the product)
They finally give me a reply and guess what I got ….. Exactly what I asked NOT to give me … a refund

and someone will look at it on a weekday, so dropped it off on the weekday, hoping someone would look at it in 1-2 days, turns out after dropping it off the technician, who gave no info, told me to email and let support know. Finally they advised it would take 4 weeks. Anyway, not happy about just finding about this AFTER dropping off the monitor, as I need a monitor for work this had turned to another hassle. They stated that it had no issues that can be found and are returning the monitor too me, still having the same issues, which are clearly visible, and shown in the video attached.
My advice get your computing parts from a company who values it's customers. You never know, you may also get a faulty product and watch Centre Com try and weasle out of giving you a refund or fixing the product.

2. After the order was made, their staff tricked me they had stock at other stores and needed time to transfer it. That’s unacceptable — if they don’t have stock ready to ship, they should say so, so customers can buy elsewhere instead of waiting. (I waited long time eventually find out they don't have stock, not need transfer from other stores)
3. Their online support was terrible. They couldn’t give accurate information to help me decide whether to wait or cancel certain parts. They couldn't tell me whether it's been transferred from other stores or just out of stock.
4. Even after I requested a cancellation, they didn’t refund the money immediately for the missing parts. Worse, the payment surcharge was charged on the whole order, including the items that were out of stock. Now I have to follow up with them to chase refund.
I will not shopping online here. Your order might be delayed for a long time while they keep giving you wrong information to make you wait. Compared with other stores that usually dispatch computer parts within 24 hours, Centre Com was a nightmare.

been one of the most frustrating and incompetent customer service experiences I have ever encountered. The monitor developed serious display faults almost immediately — green crackly dots, red dots through the screen, and the display cutting to black after 10 seconds. I followed every troubleshooting step Centre Com requested, tried multiple cables, different devices — nothing worked. The product was clearly defective. From there, everything that could go wrong did. The initial pickup for the warranty return didn't even show up. I explicitly requested a replacement under Australian Consumer Law — they issued a refund anyway without my consent. When I pushed back, they agreed to a replacement — then their accounts team accidentally processed the refund regardless, cancelling the replacement. And to top it off, the refund I received was $50 short of what I paid — I paid $1,749 and received only $1,699. Only after having to chase them repeatedly and threatening to escalate to the ACCC did they finally agree to refund the missing $50. The fact that it took that level of pressure just to recover money that was rightfully mine speaks volumes. A legitimate business corrects a refund shortfall immediately — you don't have to fight for it. To me, this is indicative of deceptive business practices and I would strongly caution anyone considering purchasing from Centre Com. I will be monitoring whether the additional $50 is actually returned, and if not, I will be proceeding with a formal ACCC complaint regardless. Do yourself a favour — buy your electronics elsewhere.

Well waited another 8 days and still no delivery more emails back and forth! yes we will dispatch it to you! Ordered a GPU from Centrecom. The price went down by 80 bucks. Tried to get a refund price difference but was rejected because of their refund policy. It was pretty insensitive when they mentioned that the price goes both ways and that they do not request additional payment for price increase. Please be aware of this and shop elsewhere with a better refund policy.

Their support didn't seem like they wanted to follow up the inquiry internally, but instead wanted to push you into changing to a different item or a refund. A simple follow up with their warehouse team, they would have been able to provide me with an ETA. Shouldn't take 2 weeks to transfer stock, now will likely have to wait 1 more week for the items to arrive in the post.
3 week turn around time for an order of 100 grams of thermal paste. Would have taken the same amount of time, if I had ordered it from china/AliExpress.
A bit disappointing. Hopefully Centrecom look into why their Warehousing/Postage team are so inefficient. Seems like a lot of people have similar experiences.
