Incorrect delivery no refund terrible customer service – Awful company and customer service. Buyer beware. Do not go near them. I ordered a rug through this company from catch. They delivered the incorrect rug and are holding my money hostage until they get the incorrect one returned. After repeated attempts at contacting this company to return it, they won’t respond so there is no current way I can return it to them and get my money back.

stores are selling at an incredible higher price, my rugs are a true bargain for the excellent quality. Same rug, same design and same manufacture , made in Turkey. It’s a WIN 10/10 from me. The rug arrived on 31/8/23. I advised them of the issue that date. Initially they responded quickly to arrange collection of the rug. Today is 6/9/23 and the rug still hasn't been collected and they have failed to respond to emails to confirm date of collection.
On 3/9/23 I opened and rolled out one of the correct rugs and was shocked at the appalling quality of the rug. It is thin, no density of pile and looks hideously cheap. One end of the rug was crimped due to poor packaging. As the backing of the rug is so thin, like cardboard, the crimps will be permanent. This rug is damaged. I immediately emailed the company advising of the issues and sought a refund for all of the rugs. They sent an email back seeking 2 days to decide the best solution! I asked for a refund. One rug is the wrong pattern, one is damaged and they are they are not of merchantable quality. They advertise the rugs to be of the highest quality which is a false and misleading statement. They then sent an email with the following advice,
"Flatten the Rug: Lay the rug flat on a clean, dry surface, and gently press down on the crimped ends to help straighten them. You can also use heavy books or furniture to hold down the ends, aiding in the flattening process. Apply Weight: Placing some heavy objects, such as books or weighted items, on the crimped ends can assist in smoothing out the rug over time."
Seriously? They expect me to jump through hoops because they failed to protect the rug during transit? It's a moot point in any case as I'd sought a refund. There is no way the damage to the rug will flatten out. Its damaged.
Avoid this company at all costs. I am this date lodging a complaint with the Department of Fair Trading.

Edit/update ** So I was contacted by cheap rugs online and it was the perfect opportunity for them to shine and they failed again. Yes they apologised for the warehouse picking error and gave me 3 options. 1. Keep the wrong rug. 2. They can get a courier to pick up the rug in about a week and after it’s been processed then they will send me the correct rug. 3. They can get a courier to pick up the rug and give me a full refund once it’s been processed back at their warehouse.
Option 2 & 3 would likely take 3-4 weeks. SERIOUSLY.
Why not offer options “4”. Immediately send me the correct rug and get the couriers to pick up the incorrect rug when they drop off the right one? That would have been great customer service!! Mistakes happen, it’s how the mistakes are rectified that can make all the difference in the world. The options they gave me are what you’d expect if I had a change of mind or just didn’t like the rug I ordered but that is not the case. It was THEIR mistake.
Obviously I have gone with option 3. I’ll just get my refund and spend my money elsewhere and my bad review here will stand.

Bad quality and Horrible customer service – Rug looks very different as on website. Quality is really bad. When I called to ask if I can change the carpet I had to pay a lot more money the advertised in their website. I asked if I could come to the warehouse myself for the change. They told me that it was not possible because of covid. Not sure they have noticed that we did not have a single case for months now and that all other businesses are back to normal!!!

What it doesn't show, is how soft this rug is even with a low pile height, which was necessary to fit in the room, so our door could still comfortably open out onto while the rug was laid out.
