Bad online customer service
I placed a $140 order, and after a week it still hadnt arrived. I phoned the online support number, was on hold for almost 10 minutes, only to be told our order hadn't been processed due to a gliche in the system (even though we received confirmation of the order). I was then promised 30% off for the inconvenience which was never sent through. Bad customer service. All I wanted was to have the order processed and sent but this wasn't an option. Not even a discount for the stuff around. Online buyers beware
Product Falling to Pieces
I bought a playsuit/overalls from city beach about a month ago, and have worn it maybe twice in that time. In that time the product has literally fallen apart, with holes appearing in every part of it. Totally ridiculous!! This quality of product should not even be allowed to be sold!!
Good customer service would definitely purchase again.
I ordered a few pieces of clothing and a pair of sandals off their website. Just after a week of not receiving another email about my order being shipped I sent an email to customer service and received a really kind email back about there being some sort of issue but they would continue to update me about my order. The next day I received an email that the sandals were not in stock as the products can take up to 24 hours to leave the website which is fair. I then received the money back for the sandals and a further $50 ecard for the inconvenience. My order was delivered to my doorstep the next day.

I placed an order last week and was kept up to date daily, with the progress of my order.
My order arrived earlier than the original estimate.
Both of the items I ordered were as depicted and the sizing and colours were true too.
I found the live chat VERY helpful when I was ordering as they were able to answer a question for me, before I ordered.
I would not hesitate to purchase from City Beach again and would certainly highly recommend the quality of their products and the professional way they handle their on line purchases.
Express Post Not Worth IT
Why is it if you go into the post office and mail express post it gets there the next business day, but not with City Beach it can take 4 business days!!!!! Not happy.
ON HOLD FOREVER NO ONE ANSWER
I have rung twice today to speak to customer service. The first time I hung up after 1.5 HOURS second time hung up after 1.35minutes. Disgusting where is your STAFF. It states between the hours of 9.00am to 5.00pm you can speak with someone. This is not true!!!!!

Purchased 2 x Havianas and should have received a mystery gift but the code didn’t work, I was told if I emailed they could include it.
They then told me they couldn’t include as I should have entered the promo code even though the code didn’t work.
They then sent me an email saying my complete order has been shipped
Then an email stating the thongs I ordered didn’t pass their strict quality control so had been removed from my order
However they are still selling the same thongs online???

Staff are young and dumb
The staff have limited knowledge of the brands and sizes of the stock they sell. The store plays loud music, it is difficult to communicate with staff. Some brands are expensive.

Website states 830 opening time. Staff opened doors at 907am. Waste of time waiting at 830..
Lack of stock in Large or XL. Didn't end up spending a cent with City Beach. Don't bother.
Slight issue with product quality.
City Beach is a bit on the pricey side for me, however sometimes if I find a product I really like I will make the purchase, or buy when there is a sale on.
I have purchased a men's wallet from City Beach as a gift; the wallet lasted almost a year before it started to rip where the card inserts are. When you pay $80 for a wallet, you expect it to last longer than a year. I ultimately ended up purchasing the same wallet from a different website, and it has been doing fine so far.

100% customer satisfaction!!!
Tanya from City Beach Rockingham WA was just awesome!!! I had a bad experience at Cockburn returing a faulty product and Tanya turned everything around for me. I was pretty angry after leaving Cockburn, after talking to Tanya on the phone I was calmed down and reassured that she would do everything she could to help me out. And she did. Mykayla also knew who I was as I entered the store and was very friendly and displayed excellent customer service as well.

Give up with online and gift cards
Online gift card or ecard.Dont do it!!!!Ordered a item. Two days later item out of stock.Refund & Replacement ecard 3 business days they say.3 emails,12days and 1 phone call later still waiting.

Worst customer service, do not shop here
Sent my sunglasses off to be fixed as they were still under warranty. Was told it would take two months (after a previous pair I had fixed at a different store were done within a week), when I was finally called to say they were done I went in to pick them up and was told that they couldn’t give them back to me due to an IT issue. I was promised it would be sorted within a couple of days, but it is now almost a week later and they are still refusing to give my sunglasses back to me or give me a refund. I’m now left with no sunglasses and unable...to buy a new pair because they refused to refund me, very poor customer service. Would not recommend the Rockingham, WA store to anyone. If you’re considering buying from here, DON’T, once they have your money they don’t care what happens.
Absolute horrible service
I paid for express shipping, it has been 3 days and the order has not even left the warehouse! I sent an email yesterday asking about why it's taking an unusually long time and have not received a response, instead, I received an email saying two of my items had been cancelled! Am extremely disappointed with this horrible and slow service. I do not recommend whatsoever.
Dont sign up
Don't sign up for their news letter because you will not get the 20% discount they claim to offer. Just another scam to get your email. Store still wouldn't honor with email proof
No express delivery
I order some clothes for an occasion and there's no express post option to choose from. I order it on Sunday to use it the next Sunday so 7 business days should be enough (I shop online all the time and 7 days are really enough for 95% of the time) I haven't recieved my order but there's no use for it now.
I ordered my sons shoes on Thursday & Monday morning before 9am they were at my door. The price was great the shoes are exellant the shipping was off the chain so fast i can't believe it.... all round satisfied with the entire process ill be ordering more from City Beach... thank you my son is one happy boy...
Great variety of stock - Returns can be costly
Great variety of stock on the website and delivery was very quick. The only issue is you are responsible for the full cost of returning items, unlike other websites that you pay set fee ($7 example) and you get a printed barcode docket. I was returning a jacket that I had already paid delivery fee of $7.99, the cost to return item to QLD was $15.50. So basically I am $23.50 out of pocket with no item. Just be mindful of this if you are unsure of sizing and do not live near any of their stores.
Good quality products
City beach online shopping is super easy.
Products received usually within a 7 day time frame, all goods I have ordered have been the right stipulated size and of excellent quality- from swimwear to clothing. Good deals to be had at times.
Ripped off - Purchase from City Beach at your risk
I have purchased several items on line adding to a total of $589.85 then returned a pair of $75.00 sunglasses (unopened) and requested a swap for a different design equally priced at $75.00 - I received an email advising my return is oustide of refunding timeframe I thought fair enough but then the email went on to explain I will be refunded $54.99 - I replied to the email asking why the refund is only $54.99 I then received a reply "error has occured" typed in the subject line so I called 1800 640 811 to enquire why I wasnt receiving the ful...l amount of $75.00 and was told on my order there was a $15.00 discount given (apparently) only for the sunglasses - however on my original copy of the order it states $15.00 off total purchases - I was then told I will receive a breakdown via an email but never received it as promised - Even then I had to explain $75 - $15 is $60 not $54.99 - I spent a considerable amount of money at City Beach and then to be ripped off an additional $15.00 - they definately dont look after their customer - purchase from this site at your own risk - I had to select the one star to submit my review otherwise I wouldnt have selected a star as the rating for City Beach customer services deserves a 0 nothing
