City chic have a new returns policy that’s ridiculous, $9.95 to return any online purchase when most of their stock and all shoes are sold online only. The shoes are not always the same sizing so it costs me $9.95 to try them on! As it is there are few plus size retailers and I do not love anything they have enough to buy a thing again knowing I will have to pay to return it, before this you could return to the store. Show details

Joyce explained payment options using afterpay, and helped me navigate using it instore (I had only ever used it online). And at no point made me feel tech-incompetant.

Joyce went above and beyond for us today, which we really appreciated. She made my overtired and overwhelmed daughter feel so comfortable. I would recommend City Chic in Penrith to anyone.

generic and overdone styles that really do nothing for someone's figure any more. It's been a real let down lately. The only thing I have to give them points for is that I find the quality of the items to be above average. Not great, but well above average.

I enjoy shopping in store instead of on line. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. I am just not observant enough and get home to find I’ve not received the full discount on some marked down items. It’s generally only $10 an item but disappointing all the same.

If I could give a zero I would, when I returned a garment that did not fit me, I went into one of their stores and was given a gift card instead of a refund, I thought this was the norm for this store to my detriment as I should have received a refund. Worst Shopping Experience ever would not recommend, I am now stuck with a Gift Card for a large amount $171.95 to be exact which is not a small amount. Curvy and tall gal here - CC is a staple in my wardrobe! I’m currently obsessed with their oversized tees, plus I will only buy my jeans and lingerie from CC. They even cater to my size 12 feet! Today a staff member went above and beyond to assist me with an afterpay compatibility issue with my phone and with setting up zippay as an alternative. I have bought two dresses. Paid for shipping. Received two dresses that weren’t the ones I have purchased. Contacted customer service, it took them over two weeks to initiate the refund. I had a surgery so it did take me few days to ship the dresses that were sent incorrectly but it doesn’t justify the delay on the refund since they were the ones… Read more

City chic sizing – The sizing has done down hill, i never had a problem buying online, but now everything i buy i have to take back to store, the sizes are no longer true sizes and the quality for the price has gone down hill aswell, no more city chic for me, disappointing

Thank You to the City Chic Customer Service Team!!! – I was in a panic as I'd ordered shoes for my wedding and was so worried they wouldn't arrive in time. The customer service team were fantastic. They expedited the delivery to store and arrived in time for my special day. They were responsive, polite and a pleasure to deal with. Thank you again team - you were amazing!!!!

Very bad customer service – Tried purchasing 3 x dresses & a $100 gift card today online. Their payment system will not work & no one in their "customer service" team even care. It is obviously too hard for them. Not impressed. Will have to go elsewhere.

Disappointed City Chic has changed – So disappointed....the quality is not there and the returns policy is not like other companies you can buy from that want you to be 100% happy with your purchase - eg Portmans or Forever New. Even Shein will give you a no questions asked refund. I wont buy again.......

Rubbish – City chic not how they use to be clothing quality is terrible, especially their basic tanks I’ve bought heaps lately material is not thick it’s thin and cheap and made in Bangladesh! Customer service is a joke make false promises and try and suck you in with a voucher when a item is faulty or you’ve been misled and the voucher has a minimum spend of $150 so they make more money!!! daily to work and love, the second pair are far too tight and seem a tad shorter in length, they are a boot so maybe they need to be worn in, but nope they just hurt. Have just done another order of clothes, with 1 pair of shoes, same size as always, and the exact same thing AGAIN. They feel far too tight and just like my last purchase, so dissappinted in the shoe change recently. Now I'm left with 2 pairs of shoes that don't fit and probably won't be purchasing shoes from CC again unfortunately.

they will never give me the discount. I am currently waiting on my delivery but based on the many reviews here I may as well give up on the promised time. I’ve had to pay postage. I even told them i will be reporting it to the owner and the Ombudsman. They couldn’t care less. This company must be going broke to give such appalling customer care.
