I ordered a product from their website for click and collect at Stafford. I could see it wasn't in stock there but was available at other Brisbane locations and assumed it would be sent there from within their network. The guy seemed surprised for some reason. Didn't offer to help me source it elsewhere. Just lost the sale.

Then I called the Toowoomba shop who had the product and they let me know if I ordered online for delivery the product would be sent from the nearest shop. So you have a modern website with a supply chain from the 1980's. This is probably a franchise not acting properly but regardless of the cause, the customer service ends up lacking. I work for a retailer with mix of online and bricks and mortar and would be horrified to hear this experience for our customers.

As a side note, if you want any Aiper products or spare parts, you're better off emailing service@aiper.com than trying Clark Rubber.

a lack of clear communication. Installation dates were scheduled and then changed, pool not arriving in time, and we were often left waiting for updates that did not arrive when promised. On more than one occasion we were told we would be contacted within a specific timeframe, and that simply did not occur. What has been most concerning to us is the confusion around pricing and documentation. We were provided with a written installation quotation 6 weeks after payment of the pool that did not align with our understanding of earlier discussions, it was $2,000 more. In our view, the documentation process lacked transparency and created unnecessary distrust. Despite asking for clarification, responses were slow and often incomplete.

We also experienced a delay in being informed about an issue with the pool wall, which added further frustration. While defects can happen, the lack of timely disclosure was unacceptable to us as customers, it was 6 days before we were advised.

Due to ongoing concerns, we escalated the matter to senior management. Although they became involved, the issues have not been resolved in a way that restores our confidence in the store’s professionalism or reliability.

This has been an exhausting process that has taken up significant time and energy. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this store for major purchases requiring installation and after-sales support.

I strongly encourage anyone considering a large project to ensure all quotations, terms, timelines, and variations are clearly documented in writing before proceeding.

had someone with me who also witnessed this conversation.

The robot lasted 12 months of a once weekly clean, then completely died/won't charge. I contacted the retailer (Clark Rubber Cannington) who now REFUSE to refund or replace it in-store as the retailer, saying it "has" to go for repair (despite me mentioning the ACCC clearly states a consumer can request a refund or replacement for a major fail without having to go through the manufacturer) - they just denied that is what the ACCC protection covers.

Repair is 4-6 weeks with interstate postage, leaving me with no pool cleaner for 6 weeks! I asked if they provide a temporary replacement I can use while I wait, again - no.

I am lodging a complaint with the ACCC over this and will now fight until I have full refund for this robot, which seems to be failing around the year mark for many buyers. I would have been happy to just have it replaced in-store, in accordance with ACCC policy AND what I was originally told - but as this is being refused I am now going for full refund.

I will never ever buy anything of cost at Clark Rubber again. They lie to your face to get a sale, then refuse to replace or refund as the retailer.

I further left a negative review on their website just for the product itself, which they also did not publish! So don't believe product reviews from their store as they don't publish negative product reviews!

Very poor business practice. I own a business in Australia and DO NOT make my customers send faulty products back to the manufacturer! I provide the replacement or refund and follow that up myself.

was called back with a cost to repair ages ago. I couldnt take the message but they left a voicemail. I called them back not long after and advised the young man I was happy to proceed with the repair. Voice message said $108. Nothing happened for weeks and in that time I called and spoke to a [Name Removed] who fobbed me off when I asked where my repair was up to. Didn’t even bother to ask any details or look. I left it another few weeks and spoke to a very helpful girl. She was lovely but she kept putting me on hold. Said that there was a miscommunication error and they thought I didn’t wish to proceed!! Why would I leave a dolphin robot worth over two grand if I didn’t wish to proceed? All lies! Anyways I finally paid for the repair back on the 21st January this year as they wouldn’t proceed without payment of $191. Called last Thursday and spoke to a very unhelpful [Name Removed] once again. No apology given. No customer care at all!!! He was extremely abrupt and again fobbed me off telling me they will call when it’s ready! so yeah I’m still waiting!!!! I’m at the stage now that I want my robot and the money they had me pay for the repair back!!! Absolutely want nothing ever to do with Clark Rubber Dubbo ever again. Can’t wait to pick up my robot and never return. Shocking service. Wont ever recommend to anyone at all! Dislike Clark Rubbish Dubbo!! Their new name!! Wonder how much longer they are going to hold me to ransom. Hopefully I get my robot back before the season is over!! Ugh!!

Great Range & Extra Helpful Staff who know their products – New Clark Rubber Store - Hervey Bay Talk about extra helpful, I went in before they’d even opened (I didn’t know) to get black pool noodles for a project & walked out with some 50mm black rubber tube, does the job perfectly. Very good products – I've always found the Clark Rubber products to be very good. I got a mat underlay non-slip product today, and it has stuck the mats to the floor as if they are cemented. And it was inexpensive, less than $30 per linear metre. Also, Clark Rubber cut the roll overlength, so I got a fair bit more than I paid for. Fantastic! Show details ·  1

rang them and was told that that that’s what I could expect after we neglected our green pool. I was talked over quite rudely and I told them I didn’t want them to come anymore, ever. The following pool cleaning guy told me that the solar pump was dead and not plugged in and the filters were hardly working and needed replacing badly. Also some kind of cell was not working anymore. Thanks to my new guy, I can now finally use my perfect pool!

overlooked that here in Australia most products these days are a case of "one size fitz male"; and more specifically probably the slightly heavier male, so for a 55kg like myself, this is like sleeping on a concrete slab. I can't remember the last time I have been in this much pain. But, lucky there is the "comfort guarantee". Except.... First you will be out of pocket because no matter how good your own mattress protectors are, Clark Rubber will force you to buy another to activate the warranty. Then, the store could not care less about the return process, and after one day wait, I was given another number to call. Which I called.... only to get the answer phone, and still no call back after leaving my details. Even when someone does call back, I am likely told that I must be in pain another 27 days before they find come and take the thing away. Apparently there is a 30 days wait (although maybe the person got that wrong?)... during which time they still have my money, so I can't buy another, with me having to sleep in my spare room. I already had to book a physio appointment after the first three nights, so I am hardly going to do that to myself even for one more night, Not happy!

it was only females that he treated like idiots, but nope he treated both of us like idiots, and all we wanted was our water tested and advice on how to fix any issues. He speaks rude to other staff members in front of you, which I found them to be very polite and willing to help if [Name Removed] had only let them. I will never be going back for any of my pool needs or any other products at all. I feel very sorry for the staff who work there with [Name Removed] because they certainly deserve to be treated better and with respect.

the owner, it was stressful and unnecessary, we found it difficult to get a refund even though the goods never left the store, where unaware of certain store policy, for example having to pay in full before refunds can be made, having to pay to transport the item back to depo, also called a restocking fee. We found the staff to be helpful and friendly, the owners need training in communication, customer relations and honesty.

Poor service – Purchased a Intex SX925 Sand Filter Pump - 3500LPH online to pickup inCanberra store as the online store was saying it had stock and within an hour i was refunded my money so i presumed they were out of stock. I received no phone call to confirm this, so i rang them and got all sorts of excuses. Absolutely poor service and not a great way to run a business. Will not be using them again
