Great ceiling fans and customer services – We bought 3 Claro ceiling fans. They were delivered quickly. Two worked fine. One didn't work. Claro were great, very responsive and immediately sent a replacement fan. We received it in about 3 days. All 3 fans are working now. They look good are very quiet and we are very happy.

problem with three other brands of ceiling fans because they all had canopies that seemed to be just a little smaller than they needed to be to accommodate the receiver for the remote control. I would have suffered in silence, but Simi insisted that I should tell Claro about the problem because she was sure they would want to fix it.
A few photos and a couple of quick email exchanges with Claro and they sent me a replacement canopy (free of charge) which was a touch larger diameter than the original and it fitted perfectly.
I was not making a warranty claim. Just offering feedback. So I am still amazed at the service and professionalism of these two companies – and the speed with which everything happened once they heard I was not completely happy with my original purchase. The 48” Claro Whisper DC with six speeds and moulded blades looks, sounds and performs better than any other fan I have ever seen, and the Ceiling Fans Warehouse price was the most competitive at the time. Their follow up call did surprize me, but looking at their other reviews here it seems they do that all the time. Simi actually chatted with me for twenty-two minutes and listened to all my experience and expertise with ceiling fans. :-) :-)

the larger fan has been a constant problem only running for a short time before stopping. Once it stops it will not restart. We put up with this issue until after the 12 months warranty had ended. Ultimately, on 12-Jan-26, out of frustration that in the middle of summer the fan could not be relied upon. I contacted the retailer, who ultimately referred me to Claro on the basis that although the fan was out of warranty, the motor was covered by a 3-year warranty. Cutting to the chase, Claro asked us to undertake some troubleshooting to establish the motor was in fact faulty, which we did. Although tedious, involving re-pairing the remote to the fan, taking & submitting videos etc the outcome was that Claro acknowledged the motor to be faulty. Then they agreed to replace the entire fan with the latest model, not replace the motor only. So, thanks to Virgil at Claro, who became our point of contact, we have a new fan expected tomorrow (20-Feb-26). We are extremely impressed with Claro's customer service & warranty support; so much so that, from our experience, we have no hesitation in recommending Claro products.
Follow-up · We only had our electrician install the new fan last Sunday (15-Mar-26) at our holiday apartment on the Central Coast; without any issues. It operated correctly though we only had it running for a few hours but feel confident that it will continue to function properly & the initially supplied faulty fan was a once-off.

cause is an installation issue like loose screws somewhere; however it'll still need balancing properly once that's sorted out.
Since all the fans seemed to be fine after installation and testing, the supplied balance kits were discarded along with the packaging - a silly oversight on my part, but not a lot I can do after the packaging is likely already in a recycling facility. So, I contacted Claro support to ask about purchasing a few extra balancing kits, and I was very pleasantly surprised when they responded immediately by sending some kits for free. It would have been quite reasonable for them to charge cost plus shipping and handling - after all, it was my own oversight that meant the ones that came with the fans weren't available - but they were generous enough to waive any such costs.
It's obviously not a massive cost, and having someone purchase the kits may have cost more in time and processing fees than simply sending them out for free, but I think it still speaks to the quality of support that Claro is offering.
Great ceiling fans, except – I purchased 3 x Whisper low profile DC fans. They are great fans, except they have an audible coil whine from the controller unit mostly when they are not in use. converter to hear it. It's normal. The controller units on these fans emit a very loud whine that can be heard in the room when the fans are not in operation. No problems if you are passing through and there is plenty of background noise, but seriously annoying if you are trying to read a book or relax. I showed one of the noisy fans to several friends including the electrician that installed the fans and everyone was surprised at how loud it was.
A friend who is an electrical engineer explained the details of the noisy DC components and even brought over a controller unit from one of his own Claro fans to prove that it was not due to the power in my house or sensitive hearing. I was able to hear some faint noise in his controller only by placing my ear right next to the unit whereas the controllers in my fans were instantly audible standing in the room.
I contacted Claro fans and they handled the warranty claim very well... initially. After sending them audio recordings of the noise, they offered replacement fans and even took audio recordings of the replacement fans, which they sent to me to ensure that the noise was not present before dispatching the fans. Unfortunately, the noise was present in 2 of the replacement fans.
This is where the good customer service turned not so good. They claimed that I have super sensitive hearing or that the power in my area must be poor quality or a combination of both. They claimed that the audible noise was normal and within specifications (not sure what specifications they were quoting). They basically dug their heals in and refused to accept that their fans were faulty.
In the end, I suspect I annoyed them enough that they offered me a full refund. That's good, but has left me with noisy fans (when not in use) so I need to keep switching them off at the isolation wall switch. I will shortly buy new replacement fans (not Claro), but I'm now faced with the cost of paying an electrician to uninstall the Claro fans and install new fans.

timer, 3 LED light setting and has a timer. Our only problem was finding out how to switch the fan from summer to winter mode. It's worth noting that the fan must be switched on and moving (against my expectation) to engage the mode. You then press the F/R button on the remote for 3 seconds and leave up to 15 seconds for the mechanism to change over automatically. Thankfully the great customer service was quick to reply to each of my emails (in which I included video of the problem I was experiencing). I suggested this additional bit of advice might be helpful in the instructions. We've only had the fan installed about 3 weeks ago, but we're very happy with it and recommend it to others.

We bought a Claro Groove DC ceiling fan, based on an independent review. It has 3 separate blades, one of which was slightly misaligned with the other two, causing a wobble at high speed. I’d tried all the on line and model user guide directions to re pair my remote to the fan, in order to get the ‘summer’ direction happening, without success. I bought a Claro Whisper fan and had some issues with the remote not pairing with the fan so logged a call with Claro Support. The responsiveness and service has been unbelievable, super responsive and very helpful and I cannot recommend them as a company highly enough. It is not until there are problems that you get to know if a company stands bend its products and supports their customers and the Claro support has been first class!

As part of my renovation, I have had to deal with a disappointingly large number of companies who provide rubbish products and then even more rubbish after sales support. The low failure rate, and the excellent standing behind their product to me makes them a company I can easily recommend.
Excellent warranty service – Though I was a bit disappointed that the newly bought fan was faulty, the experience with their warranty service was excellent. They sent the replacement fan right away. They also advised their electrician that the installation was urgent. The replacement fan was installed within 3 days after lodging the warranty claim. Eric from their warranty service department was very extremely helpful.

button whilst the fan was in motion, even though it felt counterintuitive to do so). These Claro fans (we have the 52” DC Summer) are wonderful. After replacing our old gearbox type smaller fans we now have cut down our use of our air conditioning significantly, especially at night. The fans are so quiet and unintrusive we can watch TV or sleep easily with the fans in our bedroom and living room going and both are installed directly over where we sleep or sit to watch TV.
Perfect warranty experience, and great fans! – Purchased 2 Claro fans and one of them was not functioning correctly upon install. I was so happy that Claro honored the warranty claim, and replaced the broken fan. They sent a technician to swap over, and we now have 2 perfectly working fans right in time for summer. Rapt! The Whisper DC fans really are super quiet, LOVE the multiple speeds including a fairly low one that doesn't disturb my sleep. Couldn't be happier with this purchase!
