The Beach House in Coolangatta is a very reliable and great place to have an easy holiday. Staff are friendly and not obtrusive; there are plenty of activities and most are free. Units are well appointed, always spotlessly clean and made for families. And the view - perfection. It is a favorite place to stay for me and my family.

We, my grand children and I, always have a wonderful stay at Beachcomber. We stay here every year. We first stayed here 35 or 36 years ago when the resort first opened, with our young children and are now staying with our Great rand Children. Stayed at Calypso Plaza for the first time and was disappointed. Requested a queen and two single beds due to taking my granddaughters on holidays for their birthdays and was given a king and 1 queen bed. Asked for the king bed to be separated for… Read more

the girls (who are 29 yrs old) and was told that was not an option. No face washers in room and when asked was told they don't have any. Also no beach towels. The room was ill equipped and had to go out and buy a hand juicer, pyrex jug and egg cups. The dishwasher was out of order, the refrigerator was smaller than the one in our caravan but the very worst was the terrible state of my bed linen. Had to get up and completely strip my bed and remake. There was long dark hair on the mattress protector and the sheets were badly marked. The dust under the bed and behind the headboard was unbearable (I am a severe sinus sufferer). The air con vents were also very dusty. I was also unaware that the unit was two levels and at 72 with a bad back, walking up and down the stairs was a hardship. The only good thing was the lady who checked us in - Tyler - was lovely.

This was the first time I stayed at this Timeshare[Beach comber] and I hoped it would prove to be a really good experience. across the street with the Calypso. [which I knew about as I am very familiar with Coolangatta having stayed there most years over the past 22 ,and always at the BeachHouse [which I was unable to get a weeks booking at for this year2026 [hence the change to Beach comber]. In my view and that of my partner, Beachcomber was on average a better experience than some of the years stays I have experienced at BeachHouse.

I would have preferred a room higher than the 8th floor but this year the room was just fine. I am hoping that I will achieve a unit higher up than floor 8 for our 2027 june july august stay. Which in fact, i must put in a request for as soon as possible[ at Beach Comber]when I book my annual Wintering Over week or two in Queensland every year.

The 8B unit we finally scored was sunny warm and well equipped and had a view including the beach and north and south was was very adequate for our needs. the spa bath was a bonus for my partner, I liked the decking. Other good features were the use of an umbrella and deckchairs although paying for a beach towel we found a bit amusing. I would suggest that you charge a refundable bond of $2.50 or $3.00 so that it is returned at the close of a guests stay on return of the towel... I have many ideas and suggestions I would like to share with you like the above one. This stems for my wide experience and knowledge of Timeshares and the industry itself from being a foundation and continuous current members committee director of Edgewater Club Wanaka. Added to that is my 40+ years experience of forming my own holiday home company and designing building and developing and maintaining my own holiday homes on Banks Peninsula harbours near to Chch . Holiday homes south nz ltd..of which I continue to be the owner director and project manager . Other good features of Beachcomber compared to Beach house are its quieter location[ my 2025 fortnite at Beachhouse on floor 6 was spoilt every morning by very early morning rubbish trucks emptying contents into their metallic very loud bins and the traffic noise and busy corner ,[its got a lot worse in recent years!] Beachcomber on the 2ndstreet back was I found more conveniently located to all parts of Cooly and nzw border areas.everything was easy by foot or bike. Speaking of bikes... we used bikes three days. to explore Cooly and up the coastal walkway and nsw Tweed river hinterland. Compared to the Beach house choices, the comber bikes were only adequate and newer styled bikes would be wonderful . At Edgewater and Pines timeshares ,Wanaka we always have a good selection of well maintained free bikes to choose from to explore with. The roof top pool was nice if a little chilly and the area up there is awesome to relax, the 2nd[floor one] pool is fine too as was the pool table and tennis courts. Staff as at Beach house were just lovely ,helpful, smiley and efficient . i will mention Adam ,Gloria and Angie . and Sharyn ofcourse always a pile of fun [I met her last eyar on the bus trip where i took my guitar] . Bus trips .... I feel that both time share bus trips need to be seriously looked at .... The Bonus destination for both bus trips is the lighthouse and exploring Byron Bay itself and more time needs to be spent there. I would suggest you shelve visiting Fruit world,Murwillumbah & Tweed museum and last years stop at a honey place and most of all ,,the Farm visit whic is a complete waste fo tima altogether, . In their place ,spend more time at Byron Bay starting with the light house[and stay there little longer especially if there are whale sightings , Then explore the Byron bay town ,suggest places for coffee m tasty eateries and takeaways [issue each bus member a ticket from the timeshare that will grant them a small discount at these selected places!] Add to the bus trip on the way, [or the way back] the Brewery and a complimentary Tasting If the brewery are made aware that two buses per week are coming to Byron Bay every week ,they should be easily persuaded to promote a free tasting for your passengers. Make one trip an Adult over 18 only one .. If theres anywhere that a wine tasting[cheese] could be arranged ,that will also be of interest as would tea coffee and fresh scones and a icecream or Gelato bar....

i feel adding these new additions [in preference to the existing offerings] will be very attractive fro your guests to book the buses...... Personally i mentioned these ideas to Jacob .....To start the changes. I would not consider doing wither bus trip in future as they exist with the present itineraries. But would be in boots and all when theres more time to explore Byron itself and the Brewery tastings and a chnce to purchase their wares, and deals round town ice cream tea coffee light lunches,takeaways and the like. Silver Sands Timeshare Resort, managed by Classic Holidays recently sent a notification regarding attending the 2026 Annual General Meeting on Monday 18 May 2026. Management at Silver Sands advised to shareholders about 3 years ago that over 90 per cent of shareholders had signed their shares over to Silver Sands Timeshare Club Ltd (A.C.N. 009… Read more

This came with advice that if the remaining shareholders did not comply with the request from Silver Sands Management to sign their shareholding over as others have, legal action would be taken against them to obtain these remaining shares in the Silver Sands Timeshare Club Ltd (A.C.N. 009 112 403).

The paperwork provided and “partly completed” with the entity Silver Sands management wanted shares transferred into, was the standard paperwork for share transfers.

Along with the share transfer paperwork was a Transfer of Land paperwork, transferring ownership from Silver Sands Timeshare Club individual owners into the name of Silver Sands Timeshare Club Ltd (A.C.N. 009 112 403)

Many years ago Silver Sands Management gave the Club Timeshare owners no alternative but to hand the possession of their Share Certificate over to the Management of Silver Sands. If the Share Certificate was not handed over a significant penalty charge would be added to the owner’s annual levy.

Other timeshare clubs managed by Classic Holidays have not done this with Certificate of Titles or Ownership of Shares and any understanding as to How and Why Silver Sands Directors/Management can be notifying people who have signed their shares over to Silver Sands Timeshare Club Ltd (A.C.N. 009 112 403) regarding the Shareholders Annual General Meeting is a mystery.

The real reasons for Management of Silver Sands forcing the Silver Sands timeshare club members to hand over their shareholding and land ownership without any monetary compensation have never been advised to the Silver Sands timeshare club members.

place. Coming back now with my own family felt really nostalgic—it honestly feels like it hasn’t changed much at all, which made it even more special. The resort itself had plenty to keep everyone entertained. The kids loved the pools and the gaming area and tennis courts, and definitely the river. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and everything felt very family-friendly. Our accommodation was comfortable and had everything we needed for the stay. It wasn’t super modern, but it was spacious and practical, which worked perfectly for a family trip. It's a great spot being close enough to Coffs Harbour for outings, restaurants, and sightseeing. Overall, Boambee Bay Resort is a solid choice for a relaxed family getaway. It’s not luxury, but it delivers where it matters space, activities, and a great location.

We have been to Boambee Resort many times & we love it. Everything is always great . It’s a nice walk to Sawtell via the beach or the road . The RSL & The Pub are great for meals. Loved our stay at beach house resort. Room was spacious. Kitchen was well equipped. Beds were really comfy. Great location for dining out. Supermarket just one block away. Will be going back again asap. Great for families and retirees. Show reply

Stayed in two locations Boambee bay and cooloongatta. Both great places and beautiful locations. Amenities for families sensational but the only negative aspect was the internet at Boambee bay. Will gladly stay in both again though Show details ·  3

Resort Victoria good however more information especially sawtell rsl information should be in welcome kit to let let everyone who stays about curiosity bus that available Wednesday thru Sunday night along with their phone number. as we meet timeshare holders who thought meet and greet was a hard sell session not a get together with other timeshare people from around the world. Little things help people from interstate and from overseas.

I have been a long time "Weeks" Traditional Timeshare member for many years and I love it. I am currently in Palm Court Resort Noosa for a week after being at the Beachcomber International Resort at Coolangatta for the annual Cooly Rocks Festival. people but I have never regretted a single moment of my time being a Classic Holiday member. If you don't have a flexible lifestyle and a flexible work situation don't buy Timeshare which they call Holiday Vacation Club or similar Cheers. Happy Holidays
