Room 302 was extremely noisy. The sofa bed was unacceptable which meant with 3 of us all wanting separate room because of snoring etc had to share a room. The lift was very slow. I was disappointed. Show details

Gisselle from Classic helped immensely to secure our holiday. Thanks again. The same can't be said about 7 across , they cancelled our booked and paid stay close to the date and generally mucked us around for months. I can't give that organisation a rating. Show details ·  1

We have been members for over 10years and have been coming to the Beachhouse Coolangatta QLD yearly since then. It is our favourite because we only have to walk across the road to the beach and to the Surf Club or to the many shops, cafes and eating places. We have stayed in every different positioned unit over the years and each one has a view of… Read more ·  1

the beach,if not Coolangatta beach then Kirra. Not to mention Surfers Paradise in the distance and Snapper Rocks toward NSW. We love the walking paths along the beachfront, that take you all along the different beaches. The 2 bedroom units are always immaculately presented, roomy and all the staff are always pleasant and accommodating.

I have been staying at Classic Holidays resorts in various locations in Queensland and NSW numerous times over the past 15 years. Their staff are friendly and professional, the rooms clean and well furnished. A special mention to the Beachcomber Coolangatta staff and their excellent activities program. It's such a joy to return every year. Show details ·  1

The Classic Holidays Beach House Resort is in a fantastic location, and we always enjoy staying there. The onsite amenities and activities really enhance the holiday experience, and the Beach House staff are consistently warm, welcoming, and professional. also love the convenience of the restaurants located on the ground floor of the Beach House building. It’s perfect for those times when you don’t feel like going far for a meal, or when the weather isn’t ideal. The Coolangatta Surf Club, just across the road, is another excellent option for drinks and a great meal, with its spectacular beachfront outlook. I would definitely recommend Coolangatta as a place to stay, and there’s no better base for your holiday than the Beach House.

We stayed at Beachcomber International in Coolangatta. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The room was clean, neatly laid out, and had everything we needed for our stay. The views are spectacular. We were provided with extra blankets when requested, and we booked tickets through reception, who got us the best deal available. We thoroughly enjoyed the trivia night and sausage sizzle. Show details ·  1

Not the newest resort around - our grandkids are now enjoying what their parents used to - but definitely one of the best. The units are clean, comfortable, spacious and well appointed and, even in the middle of school holidays, peaceful. easily cleaned, spot for our granddaughters to play.

The pool and spa are fabulous, and comfortably warm even in winter. A favourite place for the kids to burn off some energy and play with their new friends, many of whom they met at the activities organised onside. The girls loved the disco, dodgeball, bingo and craft sessions!

The onsite cafe and restaurant/bar , with their friendly staff, are a bonus not found at many Classic resorts. The kids' sized milkshakes were fantastic! As they're only open Monday to Thursday you have to find other options over the weekend but the shopping at nearby Toormina, and the variety of venues to choose from at Sawtell, make this easy.

Coffs Harbour, with all it has to offer, is only a short drive away. We'd particularly recommend visiting Jetty Markets, held every Sunday, getting fish and chips at the Fishermen's Co-op and walking out to Muttonbird Island, and walking the track around the headland at Emerald Beach at dusk to see kangaroos - 49 according to our country - and enjoy the spectacular sunset.

although we were in a #8 room (due to our late booking) still had a view of the ocean. Appreciated the balcony for the main bedroom - would be nice to have table & chairs there. Show details ·  1

Follow-up  · Because of the time of the year/sun position the back balcony was pretty much shaded the whole time. This was a positive as it was the end of summer and thus was cooler. Hence the comment re table & chairs. Would have been a pleasant spot to sit. We also found this unit to be quieter in regards to traffic noise than front apartments.

Silver Sands Timeshare Resort, managed by Classic Holidays recently sent a notification regarding attending the 2026 Annual General Meeting on Monday 18 May 2026. Management at Silver Sands advised to shareholders about 3 years ago that over 90 per cent of shareholders had signed their shares over to Silver Sands Timeshare Club Ltd (A.C.N. 009… Read more

112 403). This came with advice that if the remaining shareholders did not comply with the request from Silver Sands Management to sign their shareholding over as others have, legal action would be taken against them to obtain these remaining shares in the Silver Sands Timeshare Club Ltd (A.C.N. 009 112 403).

The paperwork provided and “partly completed” with the entity Silver Sands management wanted shares transferred into, was the standard paperwork for share transfers.

Along with the share transfer paperwork was a Transfer of Land paperwork, transferring ownership from Silver Sands Timeshare Club individual owners into the name of Silver Sands Timeshare Club Ltd (A.C.N. 009 112 403)

Many years ago Silver Sands Management gave the Club Timeshare owners no alternative but to hand the possession of their Share Certificate over to the Management of Silver Sands. If the Share Certificate was not handed over a significant penalty charge would be added to the owner’s annual levy.

Other timeshare clubs managed by Classic Holidays have not done this with Certificate of Titles or Ownership of Shares and any understanding as to How and Why Silver Sands Directors/Management can be notifying people who have signed their shares over to Silver Sands Timeshare Club Ltd (A.C.N. 009 112 403) regarding the Shareholders Annual General Meeting is a mystery.

The real reasons for Management of Silver Sands forcing the Silver Sands timeshare club members to hand over their shareholding and land ownership without any monetary compensation have never been advised to the Silver Sands timeshare club members.

We just got back from a family holiday at Boambee Bay Resort and honestly, it was such a great experience. The location is beautiful—right near the beach and surrounded by nature, so it felt relaxing from the moment we arrived. place. Coming back now with my own family felt really nostalgic—it honestly feels like it hasn’t changed much at all, which made it even more special. The resort itself had plenty to keep everyone entertained. The kids loved the pools and the gaming area and tennis courts, and definitely the river. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and everything felt very family-friendly. Our accommodation was comfortable and had everything we needed for the stay. It wasn’t super modern, but it was spacious and practical, which worked perfectly for a family trip. It's a great spot being close enough to Coffs Harbour for outings, restaurants, and sightseeing. Overall, Boambee Bay Resort is a solid choice for a relaxed family getaway. It’s not luxury, but it delivers where it matters space, activities, and a great location.

My wife and I travelled from Paraparaumu NZ to spend a timeshare exchange week at the Beachcomber International at Coolangatta in late March, some two weeks after the cyclone (Alfred?) had devastated much of the Gold Coast. Fortunately, Coolangatta escaped most of the fury of the storm and much of the visible damage related to a few fallen trees… Read more ·  1

and broken branches, much of which had been cleaned up by our arrival. We were allocated a 2 b/r unit on the 6th floor of the 13 story building that had excellent views over the town but a couple of floors too low to view the beach over the low rise building in front. The unit was clean and comfortable but the traffic noise during the day was loud and constant and precluded spending much time on the balcony. The staff were very friendly and helpful and there were a number of organised activities that guests could participate in if they wished. The clean, fine-sandy beach was a joy to walk along barefoot and lots of people were swimming and surfing. There was a week-long international volleyball tournament underway on the beach which probably meant many of the visitors were there for that event. The daytime temperature was around 26-28 degrees, dropping to around 21 overnight with high humidity which we found a bit uncomfortable but even so we enjoyed our break away there and will be back for more in a few months time.

Brilliant stay at Beach House Seaside Resort in Coolangatta. The resort has plenty to do on site and is right next to The Strand Mall where you can find a supermarket. or so drive to the area around Surfer's Paradise for shopping or to go to The Outback Spectacular or entertainment parks. Great pool/spa on site with aqua aerobics a couple of days of the week. Recommend visiting Byron Bay if you have time - you can do that via the resort transport, as well as shopping for a cost - if you don't hire a car. Also easy free transfers to/from Coolangatta Airport. Brilliant place to stay.
