Just rec'd my reading glasses. I chose cheap frames so I guess the awful quality might be my fault, but the lenses should be OK. However, despite having another set made to the exact same script, I simply can't use the Clearly glasses because the right lens is way out. Useless and a waste of money.

lake and 1 altair. The savant lake arrived, the altair didn't. I checked the receipt and the prescription and additions I had added onto the altair weren't even on there. I said alright its your mistake, but that's fine, send me another of the savant lake at the same price and refund the remainder of the altair. They refused, told me I had to make another order. I am done with clearly. D#mn clearly. I wait for a sale and buy glasses on sale, I expect to pay the sale price, not more, because of your svrew up.
I ordered one final pair so that I have a spare of the Savant Lake. I PAID MORE.
I will never be buying from Clearly again, I'll find somewhere that doesn't screw me around and rather than giving me proper customer care ask me to pay them more money after freaking up.
Clearly was good 8 years ago. It is now screwed. Find a different place to buy glasses, they don't give a d#mn about customers anymore.

emailing Cleary weekly, and while their responses have always been prompt, they repeatedly assured me that my order was shipping soon—yet it never did. Each time I contacted them, they provided a different expected delivery date, blaming manufacturer delays. However, the manufacturer has confirmed that there are no general delays for these lenses.
A few days ago, after I advised that I wanted to cancel my order and request a refund, a box for my left eye suddenly arrived. I then received a notification stating that my order had been completed. When I contacted Cleary about the missing lenses for my right eye, they responded by saying those had been delayed and to ignore the email. This was incredibly frustrating, as I had planned to cancel the order, and now I am stuck with one lens that I cannot use.
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Cleary at all. The only positive aspect of my experience has been their prompt communication, but that does not make up for their failure to deliver my full order—or the additional inconvenience they have caused.

I could try another frame they promptly sent me a Canada Post return label. When I asked for an alternative shipping company due to the strike I had to fight with them. I can't purchase a new pair of glasses until I get the money back from these bad pairs. They finally said they would send me a Purolator shipping label and I could expect that in 2-3 business days. We'll, it's now over a week and 10 emails later and I still do not have the return label. Every time I reach out to inquire I'm given the same generic email that "they really want to help" but can't answer any of my questions about what is going on. Of course I don't fault them for the Canada Post strike, but Purolator is not that backed up with their returns. I've had other packages purchased and delivered to me this week by purolator. I'm now $100 in the hole, they refuse to give a refund until the glasses are back in their possession, and I'm back to using my old pair of glasses that don't have the proper prescription anymore. Buyer beware! They are happy to take your money and give you poor service and products in return!
Confusing shipping – Time frame for shipping is clearly not as advertised. Clarify the time frames before charging extra for express delivery.

DIABOLICAL! – This company used to be fabulous… now they are DIABOLICAL… have obviously been taken over by some third world production and customer service in last 12 months. SHOCKING. Run by Bots. No humans exist there. Never ever ever use I ordered 2 boxes of monthly contact lenses .. 6 months supply, all broke within 3 weeks!! Used to last 6 months! have been wearing contacts for 27 years. Just what I wanted – My spectacles are a strong prescription so I ordered thinner graduated bifocal lenses. This time I added transitions. When they arrived I tried them on and the prescription was spot on. Exactly the same as my previous ones. They were light due to the thinner lenses. This is about the tenth pair I have purchased from Clearly. Out of pocket expenses were just AU$95 including postage. I recommend Clearly.

Very greedy company. Contacts were $55/box in 2023, this year they were $70/box and checking that same brand again today it is now $88/box! Other websites have not increased their price for this model. Rather go with Lenseworld or econtactlenses, at least they arent this greedy.

addresses due to system limitations.” Frankly, that’s unacceptable. I work in customer service myself, and there are ways to intervene, such as contacting the fulfilment centre directly to update the shipping details. Clearly chose not to help, despite it being their system’s failure.
Now I’m left trying to intercept the package via the courier, which is frustrating and entirely avoidable. Poor systems, poor service, and no accountability. I won’t be ordering from Clearly again.
*Edit* They reached out after 2 weeks to say the glasses have not been made and cannot ship due to a system error that prevented items ordered on Australian site to be shipped to another country, even though the address I used in the order was an Australian one and their system automatically reverted it to my old address. I now have to receive a refund and order again. I have been on hold with Clearly customer service for hours and been cut off and had to call back on every single call.

It’s a bit difficult to ensure the correct funds are there when you’re not even informed of the increase. site as they say you can. I emailed them and got no reply, their contact number doesn't work so I was left trying to contact them via their messaging service. I had several conversations with them over a week where I was promised they would send the receipt in 3-5 business days, after that it was promised within an hour and only after I threatened to report them to the ACCC did I finally receive my receipt (which I am entitled to and they are obligated to give me). Not sure if I'll use them again. Have them one star for the contacts themselves and one star for customer service.

the glasses were to arrive they cancel the order and tell me they are now out of stock for the frames I ordered. Do not trust what they show as being available is actually available and do not trust they will inform you in a timely manner if they sold you something they are not able to fulfill. me, they cancelled my order. They admitted it was a mistake (although with no indication of how anyone could make such a mistake). Clearly's error has left me $250 out of pocket, and they refuse to do anything about it - their customer "service" staff go around in circles offering meaningless excuses but not doing anything to actually fix their mistake, all whilst using infuriating platitudes in their emails like "I hope you're having a great day". I'm guessing they figure it's a small enough amount that I'm not going to waste my time and energy chasing it, and although it's not an insignificant amount to me, they are of course correct - it's not cost effective to try and make them actually do the right thing. Instead they just get away with causing actual financial harm to to their customers, without any care or concern...

False advertising – Incorrect information online around delivery. Says on the website up to 2 days for contact order processing then delivery. I called after ordering and paying for express delivery almost a week ago to be told they actually take 8 working days to get to clearly from the manufacturer then they ship it out. I hate false advertising as had I known that I would of ordered elsewhere and I definitely wouldn't have paid for express shipping.

Poor quality contact lens and bad customer service – Poor quality contact lenses and I wasn't sure if the contact lens sold were genuine. When I tried to contact them for exchange, the phone operator just hung up when she couldn't solve my issue. I won't recommend to purchase from them even though they might be cheaper.
Unusable progressive lenses - $300 and only fit for the bin – I ordered a pair of glasses with progressive lenses from these guys, using my brand new prescription from Specsavers. tiny area in the centre of the lower part of the lense, with the remainder of the lower part of the lense badly distorted, so that you end up constantly moving your head around trying to find the tiny part of the lense that you can actually read through. I contacted the company and was prepared to pay more to switch the lenses for their Premium Progressives, in the hope of a wider field of vision, but was told that they will not accept a return for re-lensing, so the $300 pair of glasses is going in the bin. I guess they can make enough money from each new customer who buys one pair of terrible lenses and never returns that they don't care.
Something is wrong with Clearly Contacts – I've ordered from Clearly for years an they've been efficient. My order from 2 weeks ago has not arrived and when I call them, they are evasive with telling me what's going on. They say they can't check stock. My confidence in them has been shot.
Scam artists – Left out the original lenses from the sunglasses I bought, they don't do replacement ones either so now if the kids or pets damage my new sunglasses I have a useless frame that I cant replace lenses in and have to buy another pair. Use if you only need conacts for one eye – Shipped half of my contact order. I now have contacts for one eye, with the other not due till 29/1/2025!!! This was ordered on the 13th of November and was in stock at the time. Cannot recommend.
Satisfactory – They are my go-to for contact lenses and have been buying from them for three years. The orders always arrive on time, and if there's ever a delay, they promptly inform me. The delivery always includes a thoughtful touch - a little Haribo bear gummy. I've never had bad experiences, and their website makes it very easy to process my healthcare claims.
