I just the other day (12 May 2025) reached the end of an ALL day LONG dispute via 12+ emails exchanged back and forth where they initially tried to charge me a one-off, special levy of $539.60 in my strata levy invoice which they had ALREADY CHARGED me back in February!!!

I sent them MULTIPLE screenshots showing what THEY themselves had sent me (yes, they literally deny what they've said/sent/stated etc...!!! no joke!). I sent them MULTIPLE screenshots of my PAYMENT RECEIPT (issued by NAB right from within my NAB banking app!)...

This seriously went ON ALL DAY... until they finally corrected their mistake, whilst at the same time DENYING that they sent me (at the very start of the day) a strata levy INVOICE which itemised/included the $539.60 "special levy"... AGAIN, I don't MISS anything, so I caught them out redhanded with THAT TOO and sent them screenshots of one of their assistants literally using the exact words "special levy" in reference to an in relation to that previous $539.60 amount.

They refuse to acknowledge their own clerical and paperwork mistakes EVEN when it puts you at risk of being OVER charged hundreds. This is NOT OK, really. What is worse is that Fair Trade, who I have been through TWICE simply refuses to do anything because they basically say that you need to go through all the motions with the Strata Committee! Doesn't really WORK when AGMs (annual general meetings) literally only take place once a YEAR... zero common sense, zero empathy and decency.

They also outright refuse to EXPLAIN anything unclear to you whether that pertains to the "owner's ledger" OR to by-laws or anything ELSE rule based. What on earth are they getting paid for??? Apparently they're getting paid for NOTHING except to send generic emails... and INVOICES??! Wow...

Performance Rating – Our Body Corporate has been assisted by Clisdells for many years. There have been some thin patches where their attention waned, but recently Tom Sinn became our Manager and their performance has improved immensely. Congratulations on a job well done. Megan & April are just gems – I've had the greatest pleasure of dealing with Megan & April. I heard consistently amazing reviews about these two prior to commencing our professional relationship from several owners of different buildings. These two are responsive to both emails and calls, and they conduct their business in the most professional manner. They have established processes to efficiently resolve any of your concerns and issues.

Avoid If Possible – Clisdell's don't consult properly with the Strata Committee before approving work, do not read emails carefully so source incorrect quotes, and are generally evasive. While they may advertise a lower standard management fee, they charge very high Schedule B fees - including $200 to attend the AGM, and $300 to transfer your accounts to another manager! Would not go near them.

Extremely poor service - avoid at all costs – Clisdells are very bad at customer service, they hardly ever answer emails or call you back. They don't action problems and need to be reminded constantly for any action to be taken. They also give incorrect advice and actually create more problems and costs to owners.

They literally do nothing – I have lived in one of their buildings for two years and I have become accustom to being yelled at by my strata manager as well as her consistently being useless and rude. The only way they do things is if you take them to mediation. Avoid Clisdells at all costs.

Wonderful Strata Manager – We are grateful for the opportunity to give Mr Tom Sinn, Strata Manager of our building in Clovelly, a 5 star rating for his excellent work regarding all the issues we've had this year. He is fast in his response to questions and always able to liaise with the right people to fix any problems that arise. We are blessed to have him in our corner.

Unprofessional, unreliable, untrustworthy!!!! – If you can, avoid this company like the plague! There strata managers can not be trusted for a second, they will basically lie to your face, that's when you can actually get a response out of them! collecting exorbitant management fees, as an owner you will end up doing the actual leg work yourself. They actually drive people away from contributing to the body corporate by their behavior. The next time strata management contract renewal comes up I will be bending over backward to get other owners onside to dump them! We would be better off managing the strata ourselves, for what they actually contribute! Minus 10 stars If could give that rating.

Helpful assistance with repairs – I have dealt with Siobhan Hughes (Assistant to Milica Serdar) on a range of issues. She is always helpful and professional. Siobhan is an excellent representative for Clisdells. The individual assistance you receive for your strata is very important.

Bamboozled – Very Painfully slow, incompetent for simple tasks, arrogant beyond belief. Takes week to action simple tasks. I’ve been without my ensuite because of their love of their spirit animal “ sloth “

One of the best Strata Managers – I've dealt with many Strata Managers over the past few years looking after various investment properties. From my experience I would certainly give Clisdells 10/10 for professionalism and efficiency. Nothing is ever too much trouble for our Manager Celda. I would be very happy to recommend Clisdells if you are considering a change.

Professional, Friendly & Easy to work with – I've lived here for just over 2 years and all my interactions have been really positive and professional. The staff have been very friendly, accommodating and responsive. My main interactions have been with Zoe and I can't thank her enough for all her help.

Clisdell's staff are a pleasure to deal with every time, without exception, and their work has been reliable and efficient and done in a non-aggressive manner unlike my experience with the other former companies. Great Service at the Right Price – Our Strata has always used Clisdells for valuations. Their service is second to none. Just for interest I obtained a quote from a local valuer - it was five times what Clisdells charged. I won't bother looking elsewhere.

Terrible – The employees are overworked and rarely complete anything which is asked. You have to hound them continuously to get simple jobs completed and even then they lie saying they have completed a task when in reality they are just trying to get you to go away. Would never recommend them!
