Thousands of dollars worth of furniture ordered, Horrific experience ongoing NO Customer Service works!
I am absolutely mortified with the experience of dealing with Coco Republic. Over the last six months I have spent many thousands of dollars, almost $20k.
Delivery company would not deliver pots through my front door even though the measurements were no problem at all. It was torrential rain in Melbourne that day. They were too lazy to even try. I have since tried to contact Coco Republic which is now three weeks ago. Absolutely no customer service operators answer their one 300 number, no showrooms across all of Australia answer their teleph...one numbers. I have tried every single one! I have also sent around one dozen emails chasing the refund. I get no response at all. I have thousands of dollars worth of furniture ordered, and I just want to cancel everything as I cannot believe this company can even still be operating but they are Riffic customer service. It is not worth the anguish and heartache
Extremely concerned and disappointed
(Positive Update) After managing to speak with Coco Republic on the phone and in their store, we now have our missing chair and dining table.
We ordered 6 dining chairs online. Delivery was scheduled and they only delivered 5 out of the 6 chairs. The delivery company (Designer Transport) then said they would follow up on the missing chair. I asked if I could get this in writing and the driver said “our manager will contact you” and left. Weeks pass, I’m constantly trying to follow up both Coco Republic and the delivery company. Coco are no lo...nger answering phones. The delivery company keeps saying “we will have to follow it up”. It sounds like I’ll never get the chair. Customer service is non existent! Beautiful furniture but not worth the stress!
After Sales Service = Non-existant
I ordered an outdoor setting in March. Told the consultant I would pick up myself because $400 delivery fee was absurd for 3 x outdoor chairs and a coffee table. The consultant still added the delivery fee to the quote, which I then had to call and delete.
Was advised of 12-14 week wait from order time to delivery. This equated to mid July. As time progressed was advised of further delays. Eventually part of the order was made available. Collected that (details of the most stupid pick up system since the dark ages will follow).

Avoid this company like Covid 19.
This company is definitely image over substance, with high prices for substandard and poor quality goods, and we now realise some environmentally damaging items. This company has clearly misleading descriptions in their advertising and like so many of the other reviews, once they have your money they pay lip service to customer service; full of promises and platitudes that are soon found out to be just like their advertising, misleading.

Happy to take the sale but was passed around when there was an issue settling my account
I am astounded by how i was passed around between two stores as well as the concierge service - no one could help me out but just kept passing me around blaming each other. I cant believe i was doing the running around on their behalf! Then told i had to wait 4 days to get a response from their sales team to adjust my outstanding amount - i am still in the process of sorting it out. I will never ever ever recommend or buy anything from coco again. They were very happy to call me to get the sale but when there was an issue with my outstanding a...mount which was not to do with me... i got crickets. Typical, but i wouldn't expect this from a store who classifies themselves as 'high end'. Seriously i would get better service from super amart. Never again.

I Ordered and paid 50% deposit for a dining table in June 21, with delivery to be in Early September. Table did not arrive and no one contacted me. I emailed and was told I had to wait another 3 months. It is meant to be due to arrive in a couple of weeks so I emailed them this morning, only to be told that I now need to wait until late January at best. I have been offered a refund after waiting 5 1/2 months. Coco republic is selling and taking money for furniture made cheap in Vietnam that they cannot even get. Their service is absolutely pat...hetic. They just keep on moving the goal posts and holding my money. I’ve told them to give me a refund today and now I ha e to wait until it suits them to get my money back! Do not buy from Coco Republic.
Rip off!! Just terrible
The lounge rug we bought was so expensive but its just useless. It gets dirty just by looking at it. It's looking tatty after only 6 months. You can't get it wet. It's just useless.
They had it nicely displayed in the store , on the floor, set out like it's in an actual lounge room. But it's the most impractical, stupid lounge room rug ever. We've rung the store to complain, but they don't care. We told them how dirty is gets, so they said we should only walk on it with clean feet.
Coco Republic is a ripoff. If you're going to sell expensiv...e stuff, make it stuff you can actually use and stuff that actually wears well - not just stuff that looks good. Worst part is that they don't care at all. Got our cash. Now find someone else to rip off.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. I ordered several items high cost items from coco republic. Had to find my own courier which was fine, however they gave one of my items away and I waited months and months for them to order a new one then they lost the new item and didn’t tell me. My courier was booked and paid for and no compensation from coco republic. Called them for 3 weeks straight everyday asking where my item was and each person would say I’ll call you back and no one ever did. Still have not received the item!
Extremely disappointing customer service
We have bought from Coco Republic previously and spent a lot of money with this company. Therefore, we felt confident ordering a coffee table online. Upon receiving it, it looks very different to the image on the website and we want to return it - it is not what is pictured and not what we want. We called numerous times, and left voice messages, and after that failed, we followed up with emails. We finally got a return phone call almost 48 hours later. A very helpful lady who took down the details of the situation but then .... no follow-up. We...have had to reach out yet again, with calls and emails but ZERO response. This is extremely poor customer service and although we like the furniture, we will likely avoid purchasing from Coco Republic again.
Terrible customer service
The Concierge at Fortitude Valley store in Brisbane was rude, dismissive and sarcastic.
We would not purchase at Coco Republic again.

Worst customer service ever
I have purchased $60,000 worth of furniture and have received the worst customer service. We ordered a Nest couch ($26k) which we can not sit on or use as the dust coming off it is horrible. We have 2 dehumidifiers constantly going in the lounge room that show red with the amount of dust particles in the air. I constantly get the run around from different departments. They have a 1300 number that is never answered. I had questions about my delivery for my other remaining items however can never get anyone to talk to.
Avoid this company at all costs!!
Ordered an in stock coffee table on the 17th August.
After multiple calls & emails to customer service all I get is excuses saying that they are under staffed & having computer issues!
I’m still waiting a month & still no goods!
Not worth the stress , avoiding dealing with this company.
False price concessions and desperate after-sales service.
I ordered 1 three-seat sofa and 2 single chairs online. Before I received the goods, the price of these goods has dropped by 30%. When I received the goods, I found that one of the legs of the sofa was broken. and missed a chair ，I contacted them according to the phone number and email address of the website. No one responded. They didn’t give a valid email until they found their physical store. Now they agreed to replenish the goods and change the sofa. It has been almost 2 months. I have not received the goods yet, and the price is now even lower. They do not agree to make up the difference, and feel that there is no need to apologize at all. Such an expensive price and such poor service are not worth it.

Shocking customer service
Purchased a $50 coffee table book from their website. NO order update after 2 weeks. Finally emailed them asking for an update only to be told this item was out of stock. Gee thanks??! Could have communicated that earlier? I was then told they would process a refund that would take 3-5 business days. 5 days passed and still NOTHING. Emailed again and was told some bull crap about PayPal funds not clearing, when this money has clearly been taken out of my account already. I was then promised an update that I never received.
It’s as if they were...trying to scam me $50 LOL So much hassle for getting a refund. Pathetic service from a company like this. Eventually got my money back via PayPal. This company are a bunch of crooks. Absolute joke to be charging an arm and a leg for furniture but can’t even refund $50 Disgusting lol.
