even wiped the storage fees on those that had been sitting there for awhile. The only issue I have had lately has been using Onebox to save money, they empty all the bags of padding and fill/overfill them with items, sure this saves space but it can also damage the collectible bags which arrived at the warehouse stuffed and sealed so their resale value is higher! They are then arriving squashed out of shape and with nothing to fill them with - leading to them losing their shape and affecting resale values. (these are Loungefly bags that people collect specifically) On another occasion a fully sealed bag was opened for no reason and the packaging on one of the straps was cut off, I emailed them to ask them why this occurred when all other sealed bags had been arriving in perfect condition and was told it would not happen again but to provide the package number so they could follow up (which would be readily available to them through my orders). So the conundrum now is to either send all packages individually which keeps them in their original well protected packaging and condition or to try and cut down on insane postage charges by using Onebox and risking bags being emptied and overfilled/squashed! Not a great outcome when you are spending hundreds of dollars at a time on postage and other charges! Other than that though they have been great, packages arrive quickly with DHL express usually in 4-5 days and the free storage is great, I can see what has arrived and choose what to send and when. accepted one last package after I had changed services. Now, they are refusing to forward this package to my new consolidator.
When I contacted their customer support for assistance, the representative, named CS03, was unhelpful and blamed me for not noticing their address change notice on their website. This lack of direct communication and poor handling of the situation has been extremely frustrating.
I am disappointed with the way they've handled my situation and their customer service's approach. I advise anyone considering using this service to look elsewhere to avoid similar issues. Their lack of transparency and accountability is concerning and not what you'd expect from a reliable service provider.

The product themselves were $135 (USD) and the handling fee was $12. Then they requested some fees more insane fees as follows (I literally copy and pasted these): Int'l Shipping Charge $36.00 Insurance $1.89 Surcharge $5.67 Domestic Surcharge $13.19 Total Duties & Taxes $20.23 A total of $76.98. What. The. Hell. They are asking me to pay them way more than half of the value of my purchase. And it doesn't end here. My plushies were worth like $8.88, I paid also paid the $8 sipping fee the seller requested. And when that arrive on the same day as the order from Sqaure Enix, they asked me for more fees as follows: Int'l Shipping Charge $40.00 Insurance $0.63 Surcharge $6.30 Domestic Surcharge $8.80 Total Duties & Taxes $6.82 Total $62.55 $62.55 for some plushies that are only worth $8.88 with $8 shipping. If they are not scammers, I don't know what would qualify as one. What's more is that, I contacted them for a live chat several times during the day, I live in Melbourne so the timezone is GMT+10. They clearly stated the live chat is available during Monday to Friday from 8am – 10pm (GMT+8). I literally contacted them in the afternoon on a Tuesday about this insane shipping cost, emailed them even. No one answered, no replies back. comGateway, I don't know how the hell you managed to scam other people into using your trashy, insanely overpriced services, I don't care what you do, don't ask me for an insane amount of money to ship my items you lowlife scammers. I'd give no stars if I could. Stay away from these scammers.

is really handy for when US businesses only accept a US credit card (although Ralph Lauren USA have asked ComGateway not to action Personal Shopper orders by ComGateway for Australian residents which was super frustrating but not Com Gateway's fault) and their Customer Service staff are very responsive. The only thing they could improve on is the speed of their One Box function (where they rebox multiple smaller items into one single larger box to save on shipping) as it can often take a couple of days to action, they you have to log on again and ship it as a second step - I would rather just do it all in one hit to reduce my mental load (there are a lot of US Mailbox competitors ripping off customers in shipping prices so I do understand why they do this though). But that small point aside, a really great company who treat their customers well and are very reliable. I have probably placed over a hundred orders with them so far and haven't had a single problem so that's pretty impressive.

Their prices are fair and reasonable, they pack combined shipments with care to detail and my shipments arrive quickly; usually within 8 business days after I've shipped. I highly recommend comGateway to everyone in Australia looking for an honest, reliable, reasonably priced, quick shipping venue.

2023. This arrangement was never publicly announced, the former CEO was reportedly not told about the transfer either. His customer support team (who were great) suddenly went off-air, and the company we thought we were dealing with only responded with scripted responses, and zero action on any requests, from June. They trickled out some information about moving warehouses around this time. Reports filtered in via social media that the warehouses were in complete chaos, and everyone panicked.
Eventually they sorted out the move in July. I asked via email for them to transfer a bunch of parcels across from my HopShopGo account to my comGateway account - I must have gotten them on a good day as they processed everything, responded to my emails and shipped out fast via DHL. However, the trust was so badly broken, and it doesn't sound like things have really improved at comGateway since. Will not be using comGateway again.

causing issues with post / the 'receipting' of my 4 items have taken at least 7 days (instead of 24 hours), processing 2 weeks and shipping well over 30 days / I'm still waiting for 1 item to be 'processed' (today is day 14!) / I've received added storage fees and increased shipping fees / no one has responded to my 15+ emails / and I'm yet to see if I can get my items shipped.

purchaser ect Customer Support can be a bit slow but all of my issues, including log in issues, weight issues ect have all been answered.
The transfer of the company to its new owners could have been better as there was confusion but everything is now laid to rest.
My biggest gripe is the lack of shipping options, especially for cheaper goods where the only option is expensive DHL Express - other providers have services like Australia Post International, USPS, FedEx Economy ect

I’m perplexed that no USA law enforcement agency or legal action has been instigated against ComGateway for holding customers packages, worth significant sums of money with no intention to deliver them or at the bare minimum let those affected know what is happening with their goods. The behaviour of ComGateway highlights a critical issue where International customers have absolutely no recourse against Mail Forwarding services should they suddenly become insolvent.

Contacted Customer Service who sent me a useless automated email. I had also placed a $700 order that, very thankfully, I was able to intercept to stop it reaching Comgateway.
That big red notification on the website is now gone, I'm not sure why they would still be operating under the guise of 'business as usual' when there are clearly tons of parcels missing at this point. How hard can it possibly be to move premises, not to mention forewarning customers??
I'm not sure what they are doing but it is starting to look a lot like they've shut up shop and are keeping/on selling everything. A quick Google streetview search revealed they have moved from a very new, modern warehouse to an old building with Chinese statues out the front, signage has uszcn.com on it.
I will never use them again.

This company is not delivering parcels or communicating – My parcel was delivered on 29 April and I was sent an email from their customer service team asking me to verify the order so it could be processed and added to my account. on every shipment for a "remote area surcharge". However, once I became aware and investigated, I discovered that my post code was not on any of the couriers Remote Area List! Like I said, this had been going on for over two years but possibly longer. During that period, I was making 25-30 shipments per year.. so the overcharges quickly added up.
Commgateway tried to dodge and evade. They attempted to invent their own Remote Area List but obviously, they are not couriers and don't deliver parcels so this was pretty dishonest..
More recently there appeared other charges on my shipments which were calculated on the incorrectly charged Remote Area Surcharge... So THOSE charges were also invalid! But do you think they would withdraw or adjust them? No, of course not. Every lie and error lead to more lies and errors. Their business practices are bordering on Criminal.
I really can't stress highly enough for any reader of this to avoid Commgateway.

Good services but fees and charges bump up the price at checkout – The service has convenient add-ons such as quick repackaging, photos and detailed tracking information. At checkout the cost is loaded with multiple charges, taxes and fees that in my case doubled the originally shown price estimate and the benefit of expected lower cost was completely lost. Scam - changed shipping price – I used their live shipping quote to give me a price along with their estimates. The price increased 5 fold after they received the item and provided the offical quote. This is absolutely a scam and they basically tell you to pay up or they’ll destroy your purchase (probably just steal it and resell it). Show details

Nov 21- 3 separate parcels were consolidated (sent the same time). Took a bit longer to assign to my accounts (busy after black friday). Process overall was streamlined and smooth. Took about 10 days to reach me also via DHL. Customer service was helpful when one of the parcels got separated at a DHL depot.
Jan 22- Multiple parcels. Used One box and verified items. By far the worst experience. Took 3 business days to assign items to my account beacuse of covid related staff shortage. Verified item request took over 10 days (supposed to be 2 business days) and then I was told the good was brand new after multiple online chats and emails. However it was not what I asked for. Just gave up and asked them to scrap the request. Application of shipping guarantee and one box were done promptly. Saved heaps by using shipping guarantee. No big issues from there. Parcel took longer (9 days) to arrive via Fedex.
Pros: Reliable service Provision of photos of each parcel Goods arrived in good conditions Customer service team is helpful
Cons: Not the cheapest compared to send by sellers (Also used Fedex). Shipping fees can be expensive if items are bulky. Customer service is overseas. Can be difficult to get hold of them via online chat. Take 1 business day to response to emails.
Verdict: I will use comgateway only if the merchant cannot ship outside of US. If cost is an issue, better take advantage of shipping guarantee or contact Customer service team for a more accurate estimate.

customer support interactions, which were not very helpful. In the last week I have had three packages arrive at the facility, ALL were delayed in being processed, and customer service was of very little help. Whilst their facility is based in Portland, Oregon, their customer service is based in Asia, and the time difference appears to create a disconnect in communication. I find their customer service team to be ineffective, and their standard response is 'thank you for your patience'.

while the sale was on as they requested a copy of my drivers licence and bank statement - for a$170 purchase when the payment had cleared as they’d taken two weeks to request the information and respond to my emails - so I didn’t end up getting the goods as the sale had already ended. I don’t know why I would be requested to send this detail when I’ve been a customer for approx 10 years and they had the money in their account already (and it was a small purchase and requires a payment verification process as part of the checkout). Recently I picked up on the fact that they are trying to charge me roughly 40% more in duty and GST on an import than I can calculate through multiple import agency calculators and also using the rates available on Comgateway's own website. Their customer service is a joke... The chat is never operated and regardless of what time of day I try and log in, it always times out. Emails on average 2 days to be responded too. Instead of providing, like I requested how the duties have been calculated on their end, I was asked to provide evidence of how I calculated. The matter remains un-resolved at this point. I would AVOID this company both from a point of having poor customer service and the rip their clientele off.

This is where Comgateway comes in, I availed of their services in the hopes of getting my stuff shipped here in Australia at cheaper rates. My stuff are with Comgateway now and they’re charging me a total of USD143 to ship. This really hurts, now I have to pay almost AUD70 more compared to what I would have if I just used eBay.
Never using them again

my order, but happily the company is legitimate and the items arrived :) I used the "One box" repacking service, and saved at least $50 on shipping costs. Once the items all arrived to their warehouse, the repacking was quick, and the order only took a week or so to arrive in Australia through DHL. The items were all present and arrived in good condition. I would definitely use ComGateway again if I need to source any other international items that you can't buy locally here.
