exactly striving to provide anything more than the absolute basics. I asked if anyone was available for next Tuesday (today is Thursday) or the following Wednesday and was told that the first available was next Friday (directly in-between the 2 dates I had requested).

I explained that both my wife and I work and got "it depends on which days our technicians are in your area". I get efficiencies and I have run businesses all my working-life and ultimately if I had someone call me looking to potentially spend in the vicinity of $10-15K, I would have thought that it would have been worth looking to see if there was a way I could get one of my staff there to POTENTIALLY win the business. You see, I also get that all I am after is a quote and that Conduct Air Conditioning may not win the business - but what I can absolutely guarantee is that if nobody shows up to quote, they will 100% not get the business. Ironically, based on the reviews that I have read here, I was only going to get one other quote as I was leaning heavily towards using Conduct Air Conditioning based on 'gut feel'.

I am rarely one to write a review and in all honestly, Conduct Air Conditioning have not been bad or rude or anything like that. They have simply not provided any sort of customer service at the most important part of a business relationship - at the beginning of a potential transaction.

From the sounds of all of the other reviews, if Conduct Air Conditioning do the job, they are fantastic and maybe because of this they are so busy that they just do not require any additional sales, but unfortunately on this occasion due to the fact that my limited availability (2 dates suggested & then a stab in the dark of - 'does anyone quote early or late', only to be told that their hours are 8 to 5, ironically the same as the majority of the rest of the working world and therefore completely and utterly useless to anyone that is employed) didn't suit them, I was unceremoniously dismissed by the now-frustrated receptionist/"sales" (???) person.

The person on the phone by the end of the conversation quite obviously felt that I (a potential customer) was unreasonable and a nuisance and at no point in time did they offer an alternative or a suggestion that would indicate that my hard-earned dollars were worth spending with them. In other words they did absolutely nothing to earn their hourly pay rate by seeking to take the first step in making a potential sale.

Sad. But true.

Please note that this review is a reflection of poor initial service and an unwillingness to be flexible. It in no way reflects the quality of workmanship, nor value for money as sadly, I will never be able to find out like others have, just how good Conduct Air Conditioning can be when they supply and install a ducted unit.

Maybe if their "Sales" people were as good as their Technicians, they might be even more successful.

Very satisfied – The company replaced a 15 year old ducted system with a Samsung 7.1kw inverter system in our townhouse. components were delivered early without the AC units. After waiting for some time I called the company and they checked with installers to find out that wrong unit had been delivered to warehouse by supplier and they were waiting for correct unit. After a while it was too late for installation to be completed that day so it was put back to following day, which was the only hiccup in the process. Installers started next day at 7am and the process was completed including cleanup by about 4pm. The roof space in our townhouse is very low and basically only enough height for crawling, so it was quite a challenge for them to install the indoor unit. We have not had to make much use of the system yet, but testing showed it to be very quiet inside and out and good air flows into both upstairs and downstairs zones. Happy to recommend.

Amazing attention to detail – We live in a two story house and the job was to replace our existing ducted system with a new one. We got several quotes and Soul came in at the best price. Conduct Airconditioning upgraded us from a 12.5 kw unit to a 16kw unit and they were still cheaper than one of their major competitors who wanted to charge more for the smaller unit. team members arrived at 7.00am sharp on the day of the install, floor protection was put down and they had the existing 30-year system out in no time.

Soul called by about 11.00 am to ensure all was going to plan and to ask if I had any concerns. I told him I was very impressed!

By 4.00pm everything was installed and after a thorough testing of all components, plus a lesson on how to operate my new 'toy', they were done.

Much as I hate to admit it, after the boys had vacuumed and tidied up, the house looked cleaner than before they had arrived.

Couldn't fault the entire process from start to finish. Would definitely use Conduct airconditioning again in another property.

Couldn't be happier – Soul was super knowledgeable and helpful in providing information about all a/c units available to us. On the day of installation all workers were polite and cleaned up after themselves.

turned out there was a problem with one of the parts, and so we needed to have it repaired. Soul contacted the manufacturer for us and sorted it out as quickly as possible. This good after-sales service is refreshing and much appreciated. We would recommend Conduct Airconditioning.

Lack of response – Contacted them on 19th March via email (their web site that says they will get back to you in 1 business hour), then on 29th March via phone, but the phone rang out - I'm guessing they have gone out of business. Don't waste your time waiting for them when you need work done (and the work I wanted done was $13k of business)

Didn’t turn up! Very unprofessional! – We booked in to have our aircon serviced recently. Made an enquire on the web and was contacted via email to book it in. Was booked in for today - I sent 2 emails seeking to confirm the time they would be coming over - neither email was responded to and then they just didn’t show up at all! My husband worked from home today because we had this booked in. What a waste of our time and incredibly unprofessional!

No Show – Communication from head office was great, however both times someone was meant to come and give a quote, no one turned up. Ended up getting an AC installed by Alliance Climate Control who came out quickly and performed a flawless install 2 weeks later.

Quality Product at a Competitive Price with Good Service – Soul and the team were excellent to work with. There was no hard push, they gave us all the information we needed to know. The price was extremely competitive, easy.

Conductair - competitive and professional – Having our Panasonic ducted air conditioning unit installed was easy and trouble free. Soul the sales rep was extremely helpful and the guys who did the installation were polite and cleaned up afterwards. Exceeded my expectations – The tradesmen turned up right on time, were professional and polite. Finished the job and compensated with my change of mind as to where I wanted a/c ducts. They cleaned up after the job was done and I couldn’t have asked for better service. Soul was knowledgeable and guided me the different products and even beat the best quote I had. So thank you! Definitely worth a call – Soul came and quoted the job which was 1 of 3 I received and the cheapest. Full ducted system with 4 zones. They came on my nominated day to install as I am time poor and the tradesman were very polite, professional and extremely fast. My house was left clean and tidy and the new system is amazing. Fast, professional & reliable service – Soul quoted initially, provided a quote quickly, and once job was accepted booked it in to be installed within 10 days- in the middle of a heatwave! Unusual to get good old fashioned service, reliability & professionalism – Soul & his team were amazing from quote to installation of a difficult job due to the low space in our ceiling. Great service and quality – Soul and his team installed Daikin ducted reverse cycle into our two storey home.
