Excellent customer service
Last week we went to epping connor to dress my son for a wedding. The girl with the curly hair Mel, was very helpful and had excellent customer service skills. Not only we bought my son a blazer with shirts and pants, but we also dressed up my husband too. She was very convincing and warm blooded. If you want to have a chat, and shop in piece go to epping and see Mel. Thanks Mel. And I love your hair :)
I have purchased a number of shirts from Connor and they literally shrink with every wash until they are completely unwearable. The shirts are good but after maybe 3 weeks they can’t be used.
Great store love their clothes
The store layout is great essay to find what I'm looking for and love the style of clothes they have there. I buy clothes from there all the time great quality and great customer service been to a couple different ones when traveling super friendly staff that always are done to chat to you. Super satisfied with my purchases from there will continue to go there
Don’t purchase from this company
Connors had a sale online when I purchased a Hoodie for $10 plus P&H $10.
When the Hoodie arrived they had sent me the wrong size XS (extra small), I had ordered a 2XL, I don’t know how they can dress themselves in the morning when they can’t tell the difference between a child’s size and a large males. The fabric is tissue thin and very poor quality - you get what you pay for I guess and this appears to be a $20 donation to some fly by night company. 3rd Class, Pathetic & Horrible Customer Service!!!
This is Mandy here. Could you please let me know if your return/exchange policies vary from different stores and for different people? I strongly believe that it's the case as your guys in different stores say different things and follow different policies which isn't even in line with your policy being written on your website.
My wife had purchased a long coat (gray) last year in late Aug for giving it as a gift to me. However, I didn't get a chance to wear it last year as it was almost the end of winter season. This year, in June, when I...decided to wear it while going to a party, I found its size was quite big, it wasn't fitting well and I didn't like its stuff as well. So, we went to Connor store at Fountain Gate, Narre Warren, VIC to just confirm once if it's possible to return or exchange it. The guys said yes it can be exchanged with another item but can't be refunded. We said yes it's perfectly fine to exchange with another item, but we didn't have the coat with us that day as we went to the mall for some other purpose and saw Connor on the way, so just thought to confirm this thing once. So, last week we went to another Connor store at Pacific Werribee Shopping Centre, Hoppers Crossing, VIC with the coat this time as we thought to exchange it. We explained everything to the guys at the pay counter and he asked if we want a refund or exchange. We said we are fine with either option but exchange should be fine if we can find something good in its place. He said ok and advised us to go and have a look at clothes. Then, we spent at least 1.5 hours trying myriad outfits (jackets and trousers) and finally shortlisted 2 trousers. When we went on to the pay counter and asked the guy, which was different this time as the previous guy was busy somewhere else, to exchange the coat with these trousers. He blatantly said no it can't be exchanged or refunded as it's almost a year old. We said we've already explained everything to the other guy that why it took us long time to come back and he was ok to either refund or exchange it. Then, he (new guy) confirmed with the old guy and one girl over there and asked us to furnish the receipt and tags. We said we had already provided the receipt to the previous guy and we don't have the tags now, the reason for which we had already explained to the old guy. Who gives a gift to anyone with the tags on it??? We tried to convince him badly but he didn't acquiesce to it and declined for the exchange or refund. Why the hell that previous guy didn't tell us this thing before??? We wouldn't have wasted almost 2 hours in trying out different attire!!! When we asked this question to the new guy and that girl, they said he (old guy) is a new employee and doesn't know anything which was a blatant lie as he (old guy) didn't look new joinee at all seeing his confidence!! Even if he was, then why he didn't confirm anything from those experienced (so called) people before committing/promising anything??? Didn't he get any training before hitting the floor??? Or don't you give any trainings at all to anyone before they hit the store??? Don't you people have any ethics, management, strategy, etiquette??? Is it a new way of mortifying and tormenting your customers unnecessarily or should we consider it as "racism" as we are Indians??? It was an exorbitantly pathetic and horrible experience which led to an extreme degree of humiliation and harassment by all those guys!!! I've never seen such a 3rd class and horrid customer service ever in my life wherein customers are chagrined so badly!!!
Deceptive online shopping.
Had to return several clothes items because their online shopping is deceptive. The clothese were jumpers and they were very thin, wrong size and poor quality. They ask you for reviews by email but they don't display any reviews below 4 stars so it's a complete waste of time. So on their online shopping items there is only deceptive 4 and 5 star reviews on each item.
Some of their clothes are cheap quality and they don't match the price, don't buy their dress shoes, they are similar to the shoes that kmart sells but connor sells them for $60 and they crease after wearing them once.
Excellent customer service
Lovely customer service from Bill and Sarah at the Connor store Morayfield, QLD. Also a young man who spent a long time with my son trying on suits.
Smiling, happy and very helpful staff.
Store manager, Capalaba Park S/Centre, Queensland Kylie was very helpful, honest and keen to ensure customer got first rate service. A credit to your organisation. Went that extra yard to make enquiries on behalf of the customer to meet my requirements.
Fabric deteriorates after a few washes
The styles are great and the prices are mostly OK but the fabric used in their hoodies and t-shirts tends to 'pill' only after 4 washes. I've had cheaper hoodies from k-mart and target that last longer.
Harbour Town Connor Store
The connor store had a great variety of different clothing and friendly staff who were really happy and cheerful and seemed like they genuinely enjoyed their job. They helped me with the bunch of offers and discounts that were happening within the store
Cannot speak highly enough of the wonderful service we received from the Hobart Store. Chris was fantastic "suiting up" my son for his year 10 dinner. All products were available and well made. Definitely a one stop shop especially when we were time poor. Can't recommend this store enough, just fabulous.
Connor - Willows
Purchased a full Tux and shirts from Paige at Willows and experienced the BEST service possible. Her fantastic personality and knowledge is second to none. I would give 20 stars if possible.
Had a wonderful shopping experience at Harbor Town West Beach today. Young man of the name Joe was very friendly and knowledgeable about items of clothing that i was interested in. Joe also went out of his way to search for an item that you did not have in your store. This was the best customer service i had in Harbour Town. Went in for one shirt and came out with three at a very affordable price. Keep up the great service Joe
My partner and I were in the Parkmore store for probably 20 minutes trying on clothes. Not one person served us, said hello to us at all. In fact at one stage she walked right passed us and didn't even look up. We could of put 50 pairs of pants in our bags and walked out and they would never had known. I blame upper management for hiring the wrong people and not training them. Of cause we didn't buy anything.
Disinterested staff to busy on mobile phone
Conners store in Epping Place.. Wanted to buy a polo shirt. Went to counter to pay young woman behind the counter was on a mobile phone. never acknowledged i was there, totally ignored me. Young Fellow in store laptop in hand he was straightening jackets on Mannequins. Waited a while was ignored so left store leaving shirt on counter. They did not even call after me. Customer service was shocking and staff as far as i am concerned extremely rude. If Conners go the way of Ed Harry you will know why. Disgusting treatment off customers by disinterested staff.
Went into the Wendouree store this morning to buy some shirts. At first, I walked over to the racks and looked at the styles. Noted that the young girl in black jeans and grey top (as I had no service I didn't get a name), was training a young man at the desk so I was attentive to her needs. She turned around, saw me, did nothing. No smile, no "hi", no nothing. I was there for at least 90 seconds (she'd finished her speech to the trainee) before another man walked in, he was very muscular and she immediately noticed him and happily obliged to s...erving him. I stood there in disbelief. I felt racially profiled as he was a muscular Italian looking bloke, and I'm the white Australian guy built like a jockey (I use the gym frequently but my build won't make me look like Thor!). She was so blatantly lost in his muscles it made me sick. Of course, he bought something. I took myself into the change rooms to try, but I was angry and when I cam out, another young women was there (a red head lady). She actually bothered to ask "how did you go". I handed the shirts back and gave her my complaint. She said "thank you for telling me".
Expensive for what you get
Always avoided buying clothes from stores like these, just went for cheap online options. Needed a shirt for a wedding and bought a black button up shirt for $80, but I thought it would be good quality. After the second time I wore it, a few of the buttons started falling off. I have never had this issue, or any other issue with cheap online shirts.
