Junk, would be better off leaving the original tyres on – 2k to remove the Thailand original tyres. Total waste. First 10k OK then all down hill. No wet grip, noisy. Eventually replaced with MAXXIS 771 almost half the price and twice as good Show details

ten out of ten – 2016 D max, got the dealer to fit AT3s of the showroom floor ,and now four and a half years later they have done 100.000km,have worn perfectly, only been rotated three times l think and l recon never balanced since new. Mostly highway use around western Victoria which is like offroading. Done quite a bit of heavy towing also. New set in town at tyre shop ready to fit. Show details

Not All terrain at all – I have these tyres for almost three years on my 2017 Isuzu D Max that I bought new with the tyres and have done 60,000 Km. I have the tyres rotated every 10,000 km through the Isuzu Dealership The tyres were great for the first 30,000 but after that I have experienced poor handling in wet and dry conditions, vibration and pulling the the left. … Read more

I still have good tread on them so I will give them a star for endurance however for the price I would not recommend them. Even though they still have half the tread left on them, I am replacing them.

Product failed to meet the marketing hype – Purchased 4 of these tyres at considerable cost after doing months of research and comparing brands. Was very impressed with the service from the Cooper retailer at Geebung who I couldn't fault. I had the tyres for approximately 2 weeks when i woke up to a puncture one morning. I immediately thought great, at least I'm dealing with a company who… Read more

apparently back their quality. Sadly that was not the case with Coopers in Australia. It turns out the puncture is apparently on the shoulder of the tyre where it meets the side wall so is considered unrepairable. Not a great feeling when you lash out over 14 large bills for a product touted as one of the best but crap happens. A simple trip to the dealer and sadly my pain does not end there. As i said the service from the retailer was great and the lip service from Coopers did nothing but prove to me to me the 20% Stronger Side Wall = Puncture Resistance and Peace of Mind was all marketing crap. Long story short read all the reviews and try to deal with a manufacture that match their quality with their service.

Great Versatile Allrounder – I was looking for a robust (but not too aggressive) All Terrain tyre for everyday commuting and for offroad duties and decided on the Cooper A/T3 in LT construction after reviewing several tyres in the same category So far after 40thou km i can't fault them , they behave almost like a road tyre on the black top with good braking and ride… Read more

quality and fairly quiet for an AT and find them comfortable for long distance touring , during heavy rain on the highway they disperse water very well with no hint of aquaplaining

On the dirt roads they feel confident and sure footed at speeds as on a few occasions was able to control the minor drifts around long bends when pushing them a bit extra

In the rough stuff on several tracks in the Flinders Ranges and aired down to 20 psi , they grip excellent on steep inclines with minimal cuts or chips or sidewall damage and no punctures so far on the broken & rocky terrain .

Overall an excellent tyre from new up to their current 40thou km wear , as all tyres are at their best during the first half of their life , now to see how the second half fairs , however with current experience i would buy again

64000 Kms 7 years No Punctures – Well after 7 years and 64000 Kms I've just taken the equivalent of these off my Prado GXL 2003 as I will not be keeping it much longer and didn't want to re - cooperise it for next person put on Grand Trek's . I cannot say how amazing they've been 7 years on the car never garaged sat in the street with the 2 R.H.S tyres always facing the sun. We… Read more

do a lot of camping with our camper trailer lots of dirt roads etc I didn't really worry what the road ahead looked like the Coopers and I managed it. I paid addictive attention to tyre pressures and tyre rotation and front end alignment to the point my husband was over it but he isn;'t the car freak I am.. I really don't understand why you would use anything else. The only down side is I find not being able to easily get people to sell them to you you can get a quote from the head office but when you get to trying to buy them say in Perth there are too many competing interests of other tyres with the suppliers.

Money well spent – I purchased a set of cooper at3’s and must say what a durable and reliable tyre. Admittedly most of my driving has been on the road, only one puncture but I have managed to get 150,000km’s out of them. My Navara is pretty loaded at all times but I have rotated them every 10,000kms ( only set of 4 aswell). Would highly recommend these. Not sure what you would get out of a set of bfg’s.  Show details

Not had one puncture since putting them on 65,000kms ago – Very satisfied with the reliability of the AT3s, I put a set on 65,000kms ago and drive on about 40% gravel road every trip and have never had a flat or even a slow leak. They probably wont make it to 80,000kms but not many do. Definitely will buy these again.  Show details

Great tyres very happy – Have now had 3 sets of these and have got up to 130000 and they were still just roadworthy I do a reasonable amount of towing so that is normally harder on tyres so I was very happy to say the least. They have been across the simpson desert and Fraser Island plus many trips to the vic high country and border track to name a few Would by these again without a doubt  Show details

Would never buy again – Was recommended these tyres by A Cooper Rep. Paid more for them than other brands. Within 10,000km they where chopped out so much I had to replace them. I got a little bit of A refund from Cooper and found out I should of gotten ST-Max. I brought them and they lasted just on 40,000km. I'm going back to my old brand, $50 less and I get 50 to… Read more

60, 000km out of them. Very very disappointed with Cooper tyres and would not pay the extra money for them again when they don't last as long as cheaper tyres. They did grip well in all conditions when new.

didn't even last 1 month utter garbage – we were recommended these tyres by a local tyre store. Told they are great for offload. we drove on a gravel road that was freshly graded and got a split in the tyre. It still looks brand new. haven't even done 500km yet. stay away from these if you want to go off bitumen. Would not honour any form of warranty. or replace the tyre. only offered a discount on another tyre. no good enough. Show details

Vibration and pulling off the road – I’ve had theses tyres for 3 years. Done about 45,000 kms as it is our second car. When I purchased these tyres it was with a new set of ROH rims. They vibrated the first time I hit 100km per hour. Took them back had them balanced, same story again. I’ve just excepted I shouldn’t have bought them. In Australia we have extreme temperatures, I’ve… Read more

noticed they react to heat. If driving in the heat for a long time the next morning after they’ve cooled they are the worst. I recently took the car to get a wheel alignment because the car was dramatically pulling to the edge of the road. The mechanic said it was the tyres. Even after rotating still same problem. I had good year before no problems like this.

Disappointed – I have had these tires on my truck for over 18 months. I read 75+ reviews before I purchased them but overall have been disappointed in the performance. Traction on wet pavement is disappointing. Snow and ice is good. My biggest complaint is the road noise and vibration I feel thru the steering wheel. I religiously rotate these tires every 5,000… Read more

miles, keep them properly balanced and inflated, and alignment is dead nuts. Tire wear was rated to give me 55k miles. Based on current look of these after 20k, it is obvious they will fall short of that rating.

Overrated – Coopers tyres (tires) should not be sold in Australia We have enough choices without this cr--p about 80 thousand kilometres more or lie about lasting longer. As an owner for three years, distance 25,000 kilo, hardly been run in an absolute disaster. Bubbles, distortion in profile and finallly blow out resulting in near fatal disaster. Ask… Read more

Quite, Long Life tyre – I have the A/T3 on my Landcruiser for nearly 5 years and have done over 100,000 k's on this set. Still have about 10% usable tread left. Usage has been about; 50% around town, 45% highway and 5% of road gravel. Very quite tyre and excellent grip, even feel sure footed on gravel. Never had a puncture. Expensive tyres but I believe they are well worth the investment.  Show details

Good tyre – I bought 5 tyres for my LC200 VX, and it was fantastic. I drove nearly 35000KM, and the tyre still looks like new. Last month, I sold my car and buyer was impressed with the tyre condition. Pros: 1. Solid construction 2. Durable 3. No puncture in last 2 years 4. Good in mud, rock and sand in the low tyre pressure 5. Good in off-road … Read more

Cons:

1. Lightly slippery during raining in on the road

Excellent tyres!! – i bought my 4x4 in 2014 with a set of these already on it and quite used i think. I'm not sure how new they were but they've lasted 75,000 km so far in the time I've owned them and still have at least 5 mm of tread left before the wear blocks. i did however receive a sidewall puncture from a stick but a trip to the tyre shop and a patch later it… Read more

Long lasting, but that’s about it – They started off ok to a point, but they are slippery when wet, and terrible off road. Most of the time l had to engage 4wd on something that you should’ve got up in 2wd. They last for a long time, but it seems that the rubber goes hard?, l don’t feel comfortable driving at speeds in the wet. As for punctures, only had a couple in 80,000kms, but l… Read more

think it’s because of the hard surface. Will not purchase these tyres again, thus this brand, as it seems they push the km rating and puncture thing, instead of making a safe tyre for both wet and dry. I would rather pay more and only get half the kms, knowing they are safe in the wet/dry/off-road.

Great lasting tyre – These baby's sorry mean wheels have lasted me for such a long time I had to get them checked 3 services ago and still got loads of life in them! They were a little more expensive than the bottom line but you get what you pay for and in those case was a longer run life  Show details

At3 – People made ordinary tyres. Then the “gods of vehicles” made tyres. They are called Cooper at/3. Good thing, I’ve given them “hell” over the last 10 or so years. Good good ....never ever had a puncture.....driven them almost flat over gibberish country (long story) no pictures.....we just loves them precious!!  Show details

Good Grip On Gravel – Changed to A/T3 Coopers last year and have been extremely happy with the choice. I have given them a through caning this summer. Driven all over country Victoria with absolutely zero problems. Little bit noisy when new but that calmed down and no punctures. Excellent grip on loose gravel. I am expecting a good long run out of these and it feels good to look at that deep tread like the old days. Good tyres.  Show details

I was glad I changed them to mickies – My ties went hard very quick. They were dangerous on the road and especially the wet but I enjoyed them off road. I was glad to change them over to Micky Thompson AT and won't go back to coopers. Iv had lots of friends say sane or similar to these tyres. Iv had people drive my car and even mention how bad the tiers were.  Show details

Awesome Tyres – Have had 2 of these tyres on for 10 months now. Excellent on and off road. Little noise and they have barely worn. I will definitely consider buying more in the future, when the time comes for replacements. The tyres have been put through a few types of terrain and pressures to suit without any problems.  Show details

Fitted today, so far so good – I noticed the difference immediately from my GrandTreks. These tyres absorbed bumps and pot holes, unlike anything previously. Road noise was less. I also noticed the grip. My old tyres had 4mm on them easy, but needed to upgrade. These tyres seem to "stick" solid to the bitumen, i was really really impressed. It's only been 100kms but I'll update this review as I go.  Show details ·  1

tried to justify not liking but cant – Had the tires fitted before i took possession of my MN Triton 3 years ago. I live in Tassie and give them a fair hammering on some brutal 4x4 tracks, snow, sand/ beach driving and wet/muddy conditions Had them down to 10 psi in soft sand without slipping the bead. fully ladened car. Heaps of off road stuff including part of the telle track in Cape York . Always get them rotated and balanced at the cars service time. At present 70,000 ks with a few minor and as would be expected small chips with buckets of tread left. As i mentioned in the title I've tried to not like them too justify buying a cheaper set next time but in reality their great value for money. Never had a puncher by the way and i have actually called the coopers hot line for tyre pressure info and the team were very helpful .

Very impressive HD AT tyres – 20k kms. Mostly long distance highway and city commute. Wear negligible, noise good, but travel over broken surfaces is audible, wet / dry traction good. Resistance to aquaplaning good. Steering response good. Does pick up and carry some stones. Looks good. Size 285/65R18 on LC200 means speedo is now spot on. Tyre balance, as fitted by dealer, is fair. Very minor balance resonant wobble at certain speeds. Overall very good tyres.  Show details ·  1

Great for 4 wheel driving – I bought these when I realised I needed something better than the standard tyres that came with my new car. Ledgends of rubber ON and OFF the tar – Ledgends of rubber Having 4x4 for more than forty years coppers tyres have been at the forefront. I have had them on my trucks for decades. These tyres have the reliability for Australia roads and off the beaten tracks. Great side walls and excellent depth of tread. On sand they perform extremely well and I have not had a set let go in the wet. From Tassie too the Simpson desert for your money Coopers are the way to go.  Show details

Best value tyres on the market – These tyres are excellent on gravel, sand and are even quiet on bitumen. Touchy in the wet in my high torque Jeep so putting it in 4WD the grip is fantastic. They are super strong 10 ply walls and having done 90,000 kms on this set I can safely say they will last at least 125,000 kms. I am impressed with these tyres and will certainly purchase again.  Show details

Unstoppable – 100 000 km and they look they still have the tread depth of a brand new regular passenger car tyre. Even with a front wheel alignment issue on my 4WD these tyres are going strong. In an age where things aren't made to last anymore, these Coopers are an exception.  Show details
