Ordered product 27th august. It has been “in transit” since then with no update offered. Despite being provided with clear evidence of the transaction, they continue to maintain that they never received it.
From where I'm standing, this looks like a company trying to wriggle out of honouring its own advertised pricing. The order was placed, the payment was made, and the evidence was provided. Instead of taking responsibility, Cosmetics Now chose to deny receiving a transaction that I can clearly prove occurred.
The most insulting part is being treated as though I'm the one who doesn't understand what happened, despite having receipts and screenshots proving otherwise. Being told a payment doesn't exist when you're literally looking at the transaction record is beyond frustrating.
Consumers should be very wary of purchasing from a retailer that appears willing to cancel valid orders and then hide behind excuses rather than honouring advertised pricing. If a business can't be trusted to stand behind the prices it advertises, what exactly can it be trusted to stand behind?
I will be escalating this matter to the ACCC and pursuing my consumer rights. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend shopping elsewhere and reporting companies like this when they act dodgy.
Ordered product 12 August. Attempted to contact via email on their "Support" email address on three occasions - no response. Apparently the item is still sitting at the fulfillment centre in Melbourne where it has been since the 18th Aug. Appalling service and no customer support. Pay the extra and go elsewhere. number, I was able to send an email which gave me reassurance because they answered quickly and gave me an update which made me feel a lot more better about the company professionalism. The tracking number did come as it reached the Melbourne warehouse and I was very satisfied to be able to see more updates on my package. I’ll be buying off this website again, keeping in mind it may take long to arrive. An advice I’ll give is if your buying as a gift buy 2 months or 1 month in advance. Really disappointing service. My order took over 5 weeks to arrive, the only reason it did was because of a ridiculous amount of follow up from me. On the one hand customer service were apologetic, but on the other hand the information they gave me wasn’t correct and I only got those apologies due to me relentlessly chasing.

The fragrance I received was genuine, but it was manufactured in March 2024, making it 18 months old. I typically prefer products that are less than a year old to ensure the fragrance remains fresh for a longer period.
I also looked at several other items, including cosmetics, makeup, and skincare. All of them offered free delivery, and some even had a $42 DHL Express Courier service, though the website did not specify different delivery timeframes.
It appears that the products are imported upon ordering (grey import). Once the local warehouse receives the goods, they are processed and shipped to customers.
Would I recommend Cosmetics Now? Only if you are willing to wait a few weeks for your order.

Follow-up · I order conditioner. Yes I followed up several times. Customer service was poor and delayed. I kept having to ask where my item was and would get a response a week later (after also sending follow up emails). The best they could offer me was a refund or 15% refund. It was so delayed I ended up buying another bottle from another retailer

The website suggested that the product I ordered was actually in stock in the warehouse. Turns out it wasn't but it took an email from me over 3 weeks later to verify that it was, in fact, being shipped to them from overseas. Thankfully, they were prompt, kind, courteous and apologetic with their reply, explaining what had happened to my satisfaction. I will happily recommend and order again.

Ordered a bottle of shampoo a month ago (at time of this review). Only update was receipt of purchase. Since then there has been no response to my queries. Unreliable retailer. I suggest you avoid them.
The goods were ordered on 21 July 2026 and arrived on 29 Aug 2026. Cosmetics Now only communicated delivery delays after I raised a query with them. Again only because I was going to cancel the order did they offer a 10% discount as compensation for the much delayed delivery. They were not pro-active in dealing with their customers who incidentally prepay for the goods before they are delivered which is a trust relationship. Show details
Really disappointed and would not use again. I emailed twice asking for help in changing the product I had ordered incorrectly, I never got a reply. It also took over 6 weeks to arrive.
