Had a problem with the Pitbull Gold head shaver and wrote a review about poor quality of the product. Shaver Shop contacted me to follow up and helped sort out the problem. Their service and follow up resolution was fantastic. Whilst I still think the Pitbull Gold quality is poor for the price I could not be happier with their service and assistance. months later, my 9000s is still delivering a great shave. I use it daily in the shower and clean it after each shave with the quick clean pod cartridge, except when I’m traveling. I also apply 5–6 drops of the Shaver Shop’s Face Guard 3-in-1 Shaver Oil. It’s a bit pricey, but it leaves my face feeling fresh after each shave.
I have owned my Phillips s9000 for almost 12 months now. It is still performing well and no sign of wear or tear. I also still have the same little bottle of Face Guard 3-in-1 shaver oil I purchased at the same time. I rub six drops onto my wet face before shaving and it leave my face feeling smooth and fresh. I initially thought it was a little expensive (for such a small bottle), but its proved to be great value. I wish I had purchased this shaver years ago. I’ve had the shaver 16 months now, it is still performing well. The battery maintains a good charge. I will look at purchasing new heads at the 18 month marks. Kind regards.
Purchased a Series 9 Pro shaver in November 2024 and the shaver head foil is breaking up and scratching when in use. I took it to the Perth store and was told that it was my problem - I had to buy a new head for $85 - terrible customer service - very disappointing from what I thought was a quality brand. Follow-up · Every different area was easily accessible, you could see the brands and prices. Plenty of space to move around the store and help was always available. Well, WOW, I have NEVER seen such poor customer service in my life.
I was told that, "so you are one of those kind of customers" who returns products...
I was then told, "if you had of read the instructions", well I did, and have again since returning home today, but irrespective, a simple explanation or clarification to fix the product is all that is needed... not ignorance, and trying to belittle your customers. The 2 women working in the store then repeated the whole, "so you are one of those kind of customers".
The shorter one with dark hair, then said to the coworker, "we should have charged him $100 to fix it" and went on about my [Content Removed] for not being able to do it myself.
My reply was, well it cost less than $100 so how [Content Removed] would that be, only to have more ignorant comments from both of them
I understand working in a medial, dead end, minimal wage job is demoralising at best, but it's not had to show a small amount of respect to your customers, and to think that talking down to people makes you feel better, or boosts your ego etc, is well, you have issues ladies.
If I could give this store a ZERO (0) rating, I would.
To the owner of this Cairns store, the best thing you can do is sack both of them, the shorter lady, with short dark hair, assuming also a [Content Removed], and an older lady with grey hair, neither are assets to your business.

ever! There were extremely prompt in their replies, I contacted them via email and they always replied within less than 24hrs, and they were always kind and helpful in their response. They always had my best interests at heart. It wasn’t like other companies that really don’t want to help and want to protect their money and never help with a warranty and you have to jump through hoops for months. The Shaver Shop was a breath of fresh air. They were extremely efficient, even brought solutions to me rather than me ask for solutions to be put on the table. They were always thinking one step ahead with me at the forefront of their minds. I honestly couldn’t think higher of a company and I would definitely no hesitation purchase from them again due to my experience. I purchased from the online store but when I sent my IPL to get checked it got sent to the Shaver Shop in Garden City, who called me on the phone and were also extremely friendly and lovely. It is hard these days to be met with such a kind bubbly helpful voice and the girls at garden city done just that and made me feel like an actual person, not a number. So I want to say all in all my customer service experience was 300% out of 100 I am so happy with how they manage and helped me with everything. And it has reassured me that if I have any problem with a future purchase that they have my back 100%. That is always a worry when ordering an expensive product online, so knowing that they do help me will encourage me to trust in this company. I encourage anyone thinking about buying a product but hesitant about the cost versus the follow-up help if needed, that it is there and it is there in spades. to Dmitriya (I hope I spelt her name right) at the store and she explained to me the pros and cons of each of the products based on my shaving needs and habits. I went back to the store after a couple of days to discuss my options. She was away briefly at lunch and I spoke to Oome who was also very helpful. Dmitriya returned soon and gave me a crash course on the products that I could choose from based on my budget - their pros and cons, return policy, cost of replacement blades, usage, etc. Her product knowledge and willingness to help a customer make an informed choice and her patience were exemplary. I eventually traded my Transform U for a Braun although there was no attempt by Dmitriya to push me towards a more expensive product.
I rarely provide such raving reviews but this was certainly a deserving case.
