I called Crimsafe in a panic as we'd been broken into twice. The ?admin officer, I think her name was Simone, was EXCELLENT at responding promptly and escalating it to the manager. They sorted out the window promptly and the robbers weren't able to come back after that. The empathy, escalation to manager, and prompt response from management was above and beyond. Had a full Crimsafe install on my place 18 months ago. I recently had an issue with one of the locking mechanisms (turned out to be a less than precise installation). company (still using the old phone number and website) of the original company. In any case the new owners just washed their hands of the problem.

So my next call was directly to Crimsafe headquarters. I spoke to Tammy who listened politely and then followed up with multiple emails that same day as to how the issue would be resolved. That was on Monday. It is now Thursday and a new installation company representative arrived and fixed the problem.

So in summary I could not be more impressed with the response from Crimsafe. They turned a lemon into lemonade. I have absolutely no connection to this company. Just want to give credit when it is earned

Awful experience dealing with Crimsafe. a warranty claim on the basis that the maintenance guidelines have not been followed, yet Crimsafe fail to ensure the owner is provided with the maintenance guidelines or even sample products with the sale of the door so the owner is aware of the care plan is a disgrace. Customer support gaslight you to say you caused the problem and talk in circles around internal processes that are in place, yet fail to prove the processes are put into action and cannot provide proof they provide you with the documentation (because they do not)! They blame you and everyone but themselves for their product being faulty. Their customer support are inept at customer service but excel in arguing their point like a teenager having to have the last word. Extremely poor quality goods for top dollar and awful support. Do your research first. Or if you like rust give them full support.

Screen door started rusting after 3 years. Contacted them and they refused to replace/repair the door. I will never buy a chrimsafe product again. Very disappointing given the cost of these screen doors.

Know what your buying with Crimsafe Security Doors, ensure there from a licensed and reputable company that exists, ask if the door frame is made from quality heavy or hard metal or just flimsy cheap aluminium dont be fooled, you can kick in a flimsy aluminium frame, ensure they also have topn and bottom bolts and that the doors are installed correctly.

We just had our CrimSafe balcony door fitted by Securelux. From the first contact until the finished door, everything was carried out professionally. Recommend this firm. Show reply

After months of issues with the first ill-fitting slider installed by an incompetent licensee (screeching and scratching and stiff to move), Crimsafe HQ sent Sentinel Security Canberra to the rescue. was the wrong one for our frame, didn't fit correctly, had pop rivets that broke off instead of the crimsafe screws, and a whole list of issues. 2 weeks later Anthony came and installed the new slider and problem solved. I can't thank Sentinel enough for the expediency to correct another workman's issues. I have no receipt to attach as I'd already paid for a door with Leybrook

their security door is a good product but the experience is soured by them then offering you a $20 voucher for a good review. Including shipping / postage there is no crimsafe product that you can get for $20 imo. This makes it a VERY questionable "offer"

Have had a crimsafe sliding door for many years. installed it? When was it installed? I am 77 years old and rely on the safety of the crimsafe door I cannot believe that after sale service on a product that is supposed to last a very long time is virtually impossible Shameful!

I am disappointed to have my warranty claim on a Crimsafe screen rejected because I did not follow Crimsafe’s maintenance requirements of cleaning the screen every two months so as to avoid damage by sea air. screens installed in my house. I think it is not only unfair, but onerous , for me to clean these screens ( front and back) so regularly. In order to preserve the warranty. One screen developed white spots ( resembling corrosion ) 4-5 years after installation and my warranty claim for replacement or repair was rejected. Had I known about Crimsafe’s crucial maintenance requirements, I would have opted for cheaper screens when I had screens installed. Haven’t I got enough things to do with my life then clean screens six times a year? The irony is that only one screen had damage- the others are fine - despite not being regularly cleaned!

We did the entire house in crimsafe, 4 doors and every window, including an escape one. Used the product to clean it each year as recommended. Got issue with white stuff on front door and a single window. Cleaned it away, came back, cleaned it again, returned. All products are still under warranty. clean it was the issue and no warranty claim given. What I have been told is that there are two chemicals/products within the door that create this suff if they come in contact with each other, not sure if that part is true, but if it is, then that's the actual issue because the stuff has been cleaned as per instructions. I won't spend the extra to get this crimsafe product again on the next house it's an eye sore now and makes the house look bad.

They did however offer to fix it for a fee not under warranty.

Disappointing – 6 months after installation of 10k worth of Crimsafe screens we noticed a white residue buildup on the lower part of the aluminium mainly in areas where there were screws. when cleaned off the aluminium had disintegrated leaving pits in the screens. We immediately contacted the installation company who took photos and passed them on to Crimsafe, our claim on a 10 year warranty was denied due to poor cleaning of screens! So disappointed in this company as we have spent so much time trying to maintain our investment and they can’t consider that there may be a fault with the product! We have screens from another company on our windows which are 20 years old with no signs of any problems.

Crimsafe exterior doors (3) – I have 3 Crimsafe doors installed, and I’m mostly happy with them, however I understand that a magnet should not stick to the genuine product, is this correct? The magnet sticks like glue, I’m afraid I’ve been sold an inferior product. Show 3 replies

Average but Happy with final outcome – I enquired about new balcony doors and Clearview responded very quickly and within days I had someone attend and provide a quote. Totally Outstanding – Just had my front door door done by Danny the installer, and what a experience totally outstanding. Great experience – Both Steve and Melvin were a pleasure to meet and I am thoroughly impressed with the product.
