Customer service was fantastic after a few small warranty issues. Product itself cooks perfect. No flare up like my old traditional gas bbq. Converted to natural gas so the cooking isn't as hot as normal gas but this makes cooking better. I can cook my sausages on the grill rather than the upper rack due to intense heat as an example. Steaks cook perfect and restaurant quality grill marks on my steaks! Show reply
I CANNOT rate the BBQ as I have NOT received it . I purchased an outdoor kitchen bbq online 1 month ago and still nothing !!! CrossRay provides NO customer service, as not once have they taken the time to communicate with me regarding this delay. and they expect them in any day. For compensation to placate my anger they sent a bbq cover - not much use to me without a bbq ! The Crossray sales staff on the phone are condescending, uninterested to the point of rudeness. Today I asked to speak with the Customer Service Manager, whom I have been dealing with- he is not in, and neither is the Sales Manager - perhaps they are all looking for a new job ! I have been advised today that the missing parts have arrived, and despite my order having a "priority", it will still be several days until it is dispatched.
Not only is the BBQ amazing the service is above and beyond. ask if this was an issue and the next day received a call to say they had started a warranty claim and the following day was called to say a new grill had been shipped.
To be honest it was a minor fault that wasn't really bothering me I was just concerned it might deteriorate further, but to have it replaced immediately with no hoops to jump through or push back that it was 2 years old is outstanding.
If you are looking for a new BBQ I cannot recommend these highly enough. Takes a little getting used to the different style but once you do you won't go back, especially if you like a good char on your meat that only high heat can give.
Excellent bbq! Got the outdoor kitchen with double fridge and sink, but it’s the bbq that’s so good.. it cooks hot and fast for steaks but can slow it down for rotisserie porchetta which I’ve done a couple of times and literally could not mess it up (used a meater thermometer to cook perfectly)..I haven’t really learned to get the best out of it yet but it still surpasses any previous bbq and well exceeds my expectations! Great customer service – Scrapes on panels, doors won't close properly, paint/silicone smears, damage to "stone" {which to be fair looks more like a laminate in appearance} stoppers broken to name a few of the issues. I guess you get what you pay for. EDIT: ALL of the above was addressed by the company with all damaged parts being replaced. Customer service is excellent.
Customer care and communication outstanding – Your company has been great with its service since we purchase our bbq and full kitchen maybe 18months ago. We had cracking issues with the original kitchen tops and when I emailed your company about the issue, within a couple of days we had new kitchen top kits, no questions asked, they look amazing and are far better than the original ones that came with the BBQ. Fantastic outdoor kitchen, Customer service second to none! – The BBQ gets hot nice and quick and cooks a great steak, chops, pizza or sausages. I've been experimenting with the rotisserie and that has given some delicious results. in my mouth. The self-cleaning feature is great! I have this setup as an island, I think the back could look a bit better but I might get something made up, or just live with it. I've included a picture of the back prior to the kitchen being put in place, the pipes are now inside the cabinets and you can't see them.
Beyond my expectations – The only bbq I've ever owned that heats and cooks evenly across the whole grill. The temperature is easily and quickly controlled and is amazingly quick to heat up (and gets super hot if you want it to!). Very little flare ups from fat dripping and relatively easy to clean. gas conversion kit, flat plate and rotisserie too. I was sceptical when I first bought it and they aren't cheap but now I know it's worth every cent. I'm super impressed and won't go back to a 'traditional' bbq!
What a great surprise - the Crossray has been a great find! – We bought the Crossray outdoor kitchen to complement our brand new outdoor pool and landscaping - on the recommendation of our landscaper. The whole set up has been fantastic and the BBQ has exceeded our expectations. We have cooked everything on it from veggies to meats so far - it heats up quickly, is easy to use, and we have loved the results - perfectly seared food and very tasty inside. Incredible BBQ – We have cooked on our trusty Webber for years but wanted to upgrade to an outdoor kitchen. I did the research and came up with the cross ray as our new BBQ option. My husband was very concerned moving away from his trusted Webber. After he cooked for the first time, he was absolutely blown away by the set up, the size of the grill and the cook of the steak. BBQ cooks well; kitchen cabinets faulty and unsafe; customer service non-responsive – BBQ achieves high even heat and cooks very well. Pizza stone works well. The problem is with the kitchen cabinets. The build quality is pretty good, but the sides of the side cabinets have the ventilation holes in the wrong place - a few inches higher than shown on the Crossray website and in the installation manual. 1. The side cabinets cannot be connected to the BBQ cabinet as shown in the installation manual. They are supposed to connect using screws and nuts, "two through the top vents, and 2 through the bottom vents." After asking Customer Service about this, they claimed that I had "new generation" cabinets that "require to create your own hole in the cabinet - drill through each cabinet" to connect them. I find it hard to believe that is by design, rather than faulty manufacture that they are hoping customers won't notice.
2. Airflow between cabinets is blocked because the vents don't line up. This is a safety issue as a build-up of leaking gas under the BBQ cannot escape. My questions to Customer Service about this have gone unanswered for 3 weeks now, so I am writing this public review in the hope of getting a response.
Desired resolution: Crossray please send side pieces of cabinets with vents that align so I can attach the cabinets together and so that airflow is not blocked. And I will be happy to adjust this review to reflect your improvements in Customer Service. Thanks.

sensational. We were going to add a pizza oven to the kitchen, but don't need it. I bought a pizza stone and the thing heats up a treat and cooks a great home made pizza in about 5 minutes. Friends have come around (between lockdowns!) and have subsequently bought a Crossray. Happy to recommend to anybody.
The Best BBQ Ever! – I absolutely love the Crossray BBQ. I cook on it at least 3 times per week and as the weather improves I can only imagine this will increase. I cook everything form sausages, to steak, roasts on the rotisserie & even did a Greek pork roast in an oven tray on Sunday and charred the outside on the grille at the finish. This BBQ is by far the best one I've ever had – The heat is even throughout the surface and it gets very hot so I often end up using the top shelf instead. Quality seems to be spot on as well, but I've only had it for 6 weeks, but so far so good. Show details
