Love my Weber – I had a Weber barbecue and loved cooking on it. When eldest son moved out, I thought it was time to upgrade so he commandeered the Weber and I purchased an outdoor barbecue kitchen - that was a mistake Unfortunately the kitchen did not cook as well as the Weber and within three years it had rusted . So back to Weber . Purchased the Weber Genesis… Read more ·  1

E-325s , mine is a bottled gas unit, there is a natural gas version as well Colour black. Dimensions - Lid Open (centimetres) 160.02cm H x 157.48cm W x 78.74cm D Dimensions - Lid Closed (centimetres) 123.19cm H x 157.48cm W x 68.58cm D Top grill (square centimetres) 1768 cm² Primary cooking area (centimetres) 3310 cm² It is advertised as a three burner barbecue , but the sear station actually makes it a four burner. This barbecue actually has a cooking area larger than my previous five burner. My barbecuing is so much better I sear the steak both sides on the searing stain then place the steak on the other burner close the lid and ten minutes later perfectly cooked steak. Our steaks are now so delicious I have cooked kebabs , chicken skewers , and even a piece of roast pork All have been cooked to perfection This barbecue comes with a fantastic hot plate (see photo) and a silver stand that allows you to cook with a wok or a pizza stone (see photo) Both of these are very easy to install just remove the right hand side grill and place in either the hot plate or the stand. I have advised my family that Weber accessories are now on my Christmas wish list -the pizza stone and vegetable grilling basket are high on the list. The right hand side has a prep table that folds down if required. I have found it very easy to clean this barbecue It comes with a plastic spatula, after cooking I generally scrape the grill, Leave it to cool after w have eaten and the barbecue has cooled down I give it a light wipe over and leave it. Next time I use it I will fire it up with the lid open it has a great ignition system, Put the lid down for 10 minutes to burn off the remnants of the previous grill, then scrape with a Weber grill brush , wipe down the grill and it’s all red at to go. I know oil my food directly rather than on the grill this is recommended by Weber. There is a slanted grill drip tray that just needs scraping to clean the barbecue I have found it very easy to clean I highly recommend this barbecue. Barbecuing is now a regular activity in my house I am so glad I am back with a Weber Also purchased the recommended Weber cover

  Verified Genesis EP-335 LPG

I recently purchased a Weber Genesis EP-335 from the Weber Moore Park SupaCenta store and wanted to share an honest account of my experience. Firstly, the sales service was good. When my wife and I visited on 12 November, the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and gave us confidence in the product. The store layout is great with a wide range of… Read more

BBQs well displayed, and our initial interaction left us with a really positive impression of Weber.

I was originally told the store would price match, but when I returned on 28 November with a verified 15% offer from another Weber store, I was suddenly told they only match up to 10%. This inconsistency was disappointing and felt like a step back from the professionalism shown earlier.

Then, while free delivery was offered, I was told it wouldn’t be available for more than two weeks. Needing the BBQ sooner, I had to transport it myself, including removing and reinstalling child seats and wrestling a very heavy box (60-80kg) out of the car and into my backyard.

On emptying the box I spent hours trying to locate the bolts/screws to enable assembly. Weber Customer Support were terrific and make sure that I was supported. I have to take my hat off to the Weber Customer Support function who went above and beyond.

The Weber Genesis EP-335 is not an easy BBQ to assemble, so if you don't use the Weber service to assemble it for you, be prepared to spend a significant amount of time doing it yourself.

Stunning results on this bbq with exceptional after sales service – Where to start? The double layer hood and the cast iron enamel coated grills set this bqq apart by a mile. As an oven the heat is even and however you want to cook, long and slow or high and fast either is possible. A roast, a small cut, steak or vegetable can be placed straight on the center grill and cooked indirectly (middle burner off) without… Read more

burning the bottom. Alternatively the sear station allows the high heat of the grill to make perfect marks on just about anything. Char grilled capsicum can be done this way without the need for the extra sear burner. The temp can be managed from 100 to 300 C. Its important, like any manual oven (no thermostat) to monitor the temp and minimize hood opening. The meringue on a pie I cooked even worked and I'd do a pavlova or a cake on a trivet in this oven its so controllable. Roast pork had the best crackling but retained moisture in the meat.

The gas bottle hung on the outside makes turning on/off and swapping it a breeze - no need for wresting into a cabinet. The gas level measuring gauge is a handy guide.

The after sales service and warranty was friendly, helpful, suprising and exactly as described on the website. Due to humidity and closeness to the beach my bbq did develop some corrosion in the first 3 years. Yeah well you expect that near the beach! That corrosion was noticed on a picture I sent to Weber Australia to identify the model for some accessories I was inquiring about. They said corrosion shouldn't happen that fast and arranged a technician to come out and change all the parts effected. Excellent service!

Cleaning. Best fat management ever! Fat drains into the large receptacle perfectly. I have also used a bucket that fits under. That is handy when washing out the cooking box from time to time. The grill wipes almost clean with an enjo oven cleaner rag after the bbq is cool. Any burnt residue almost completely brushes off with the Weber stainless steel brush when hot. Its great to be able to get the bbq clean for changing cooking from meat to fish or baking.

So there you go that's been my experience. Weber bbq's are more expensive, (well a lot more) than most but really when you average it out over 10 or even 5 years its not that much really. People I talked to before I got my Genesis said its hard to appreciate the differences without using one but I would love it. They were right!

LOVE this BBQ! – Despite this model being discontinued I am so happy with it that I felt a review was still needed. the caveman notion of dad being the only person able to BBQ. I never expected that we would be using it as often as we do, at least once a week. A big family means a mid week BBQ is the norm, and with this it's no big deal because it couldn't be easier to use. I've played around with slow cooking and roasting, both something I would never have tried on our old BBQ. Results have been excellent and I'm only sorry we didn't buy one of these sooner.

My one and only gripe is that cleaning it isn't fun. We scrub the grills before every use once they're nice and hot, but I also try to give it a big pull-everything-out clean every few months, mostly because we use it so often. Avoiding using abrasive cleaners like oven sprays makes it a pretty tough job and it's never looked like brand new even though I know that it is clean.

Worth The Expense, Only Time Will Tell – So I finally got talked into retiring the flat top three burner we bought shortly after we moved in together, 20 years ago. I had replaced the hot plate and grill from cast iron to stainless around the 10 year mark, and that was after one cast iron replacement for each. Plus all three burners have been replaced at least once but still the same BBQ… Read more ·  2

right. Always had a cover and seemed to do the basics. After some (ok, a lot) of research, tire kicking at BBQ shops and talking to mates with big hooded jobbies, we finally took the plunge.

It came down to two, a Brown and Ziegler or the Weber Genesis E330. The sub $1000 BBQs just felt flimsy and while the B&Z are very sturdy, I just couldn't justify the extra in comparison to the Weber. Sure the burners look funky but not 400 bucks fancy and let's be honest, who cares as long as it gets hot right.

I put mine together myself. A couple hours in the garage being supervised by my four legged (mostly asleep) supervisor. The only bit that could have done with a better caution, is removing the protective wrap from the side shelves and how handling the SS edges might be like putting your hand in a shredder. A few nicks and what looked like a lot of blood later, the beast was assembled (clean) and ready to fire up.

I took out the cast iron plate and grill, replacing with my previous SS from topnotch, I'm not tossing that out. Well what can I say, it was amazing. Got to 300 C in about ten minutes flat. I cooked steak that night and did salmon and veggies tonight. A little on the over done side but I'm still getting used to it. Nice cover (costs extra), wheel locks, sturdy as, what more could you ask for. Stop wondering, go out and buy it and yes the sear station is worth it. I couldn't care less about the side burner but it's there if I need it.

My only gripe is the pricing, same as Apple, Dyson, etc. They won't budge. Oh and the colour range in Australia versus the US, here it's black or nothing. In the US there are a few different colours to choose from.

Great BBQ warranty though not as good as stated at purchase – I've had numerous BBQ's over the years if I got 3 or 4 years that seemed it. When it was time to replace the last one I researched the market and decided on the weber with a 10 year warranty in 2015. The BBQ has cooked great meals. could be replaced but I was told that they were an accessory (strange they came with BBQ) and I must buy them. I hope the current BBQ's don't have warranty problems. Not totally impressed – Gas bottle sits on outside of bbq only on Australian models to meet Australian design rules at least put some strength in side panel weight of full gas bottle bows panel. 1599 dollar bbq to have an ugly bottle on side not impressed plus the lid would of been much better if it was a roll back design you need to much wall clearance when opening lid. Possibly the world's best BBQ! – I had an existing four-burner hooded BBQ that had given me satisfactory performance for a decade, but prone to flareups, heavy use of gas and not very good at all for roasting, etc. From the top, the E330 is expensive, costing not quite double a cheapie four burner BBQ. It cooks pizza also straight on the grill in the same way, and no need for a pizza stone. And it cooks traditional BBQ with no flareups and with minimal attention. I'm going to cook the turkey on it this Xmas! Its almost impossible to make it stuff up!

Downsides? Took a bit of assembling. The gas gauge is only an approximation. And Weber accessories like covers, lights, etc. are expensive. But otherwise faultless. I love it!

It is built well with a 25 year warranty, also for the price they come out and install it for you. Can't beat that for service and quality.

If cleaning was always a pain then the Genesis is built in such a way that you can just lift every thing out and wipe it down. I use a wire brush and cold water and after 5 minutes pre heat everything just wipes off the grille.
