so poorly manufactured that they can not be installed without modification to parts. In my opinion they are of unacceptable quality and not fit for purpose.

 Follow-up  · To follow-up, curtain wonderland were happy to refund the unopened blinds but not the already installed but faulty blind.

Cannot make what they advertise. I chose a product within the cut to size specifications offered, and was contacted to be informed that they don't make curtains that size. In fairness, they called me and arranged a refund. They are still offering cut to size specifications that they told me they don't do.

 Follow-up  · In answer: They didn't explain why, they changed the size available on the curtain in question before they replied to me. The refund was fairly prompt. I did make a mistake in my order, but wanted 2300 drop, which was within the 2500 drop limit available on the page at the time. installation and incorrect product being supplied, I'm still waiting for completion of my order! Their products are poor quality and ill-fitting, pricing is not competitive, manufacture times exhorbitant and customer service and accountability non-existent. The numbers in their terms and conditions are disconnected and it is impossible to speak to any level of management. They don't give you the courtesy to communicate - you have to chase them and time and time again get no response or ridiculous excuses. They've got your money so could careless if you receive your product and/or are happy with it. DON'T DO IT TO YOURSELF! There are so many other companies with better products!!

communicate with. I asked him several times if he was ok with our corner mounted television (in our bedroom) which was on a swing arm being moved as windows were located on each side of this area. He just nodded and smiled at me. Saying “yes, yes”. I left him to do his business. Some hours later he left. He did not call me at anytime for assistance or help. He left. That night I turned my television on to find that the cord had been ripped out of the back. Not taken out but ripped out and broken. Clearly with force. It had been placed back into the socket only falling out upon me moving the television. So I immediately contact the company via email to advise what had happened. It takes me several emails and phone calls which all go unanswered and several weeks for them to finally get back to me stating the installer denied doing it and that I needed evidence of him damaging it. How do I prove that… do I record every contractor in my home as he/she works. So would I recommend the company NO… I won’t be using them again

the branch staff contacted Pita.

Blind install - H/O told branch the installer will be in from 1-3pm and I was told 10am -2pm - Inconsistent information. The manner of approach from head office team m and installer was as if they doing me a favor. I was told the installer will arrive between 10am-2pm. Installer( Fitter: Xuan Liu) messages me at 2.42pm and arrived at 3.30pm after I made numerous calls and sent an email. I called head office after 2pm, they did not answer or responded to me email until branch rang her/Pita. She claimed she does not follow with installer and another staff Anette finishes at 1pm so no one answers her call.( how am i supposed to know), 13 number was engaged for few hours that afternoon. Installer who installed the roller blinds on 30/9/24 - contacted me late(2.42pm) and arrived(3.30pm) after allocated time and had an attitude and very rude. Claimed it is not his problem that he is late. He kept threatening to leave the job when I approached him that I have been waiting from 10-2pm and if he could have informed me that he was running late and I could have done other chores of my day. I also lodged a complaint to the company in writing of my experience.

For the curtain instalment - I was still waiting for curtains - Peta and Annette's both gave me 2 different answers - poor communication. Afterwards, I kept contacting them and no one answered the calls. I got frustrated so as I had been waiting for curtains for a long time. I rang office and also sent email and lodged complaint with 3rd party then Peta rang and arranged for installing of curtain straightway and then, 30mins later I received call from Kim doing the same. Kim was dictate, talking over me, did not let me speak or negotiate time and she was very abrupt and then hang up on me.

I hope Curtain Wonderland records these phone calls so they can be exposed. She was very unprofessional. From being a regular customer to Curtain Wonderland, this experience has been very unfriendly, poor customer service and communication style to customer was dictate, as if they doing favor. They forget that we paid for the job and service.

They got my money and then was not ready to understand that we all work and negotiate for time for installing, customer has to follow up to get job done, dictate, hanging the phone on customer, failing to inform customer if they running late, they feel they doing favors for customers.

I give 1 star and would not recommend Curtain Wonderland.

twice requesting an exchange. I got no reply. I ended up posting the items back as I found their return address on the receipt. I email again twice at two different email addresses. I’ve had zero response so I’ve put in a dispute with PayPal. It looks like something has gone drastically wrong with this company. I now see that they have almost no presence on social media. Every comment is negative - other disgruntled customers who can’t get a word out of them. Avoid at all costs. I assume they are going out of business. I resolved this by returning the products directly to a store. I had to travel quite a distance to do this as most of them have shut down. The ladies in the shop were helpful.

I logged into my account on their website and it still says 'In Progress', when you click on the 'track your order' link, nothing happens. I read on this review page that the management of Curtain Wonderland are all Chinese and they will try and cheat you. According to staff who have left since they took over (70% of original staff), they tell them "we never refund". How have they been allowed to conduct business in Australia when they are unwilling to comply with Australian Consumer Rights Laws? As I am unable to speak to anyone from Curtain Wonderland about my order which I very much doubt I will receive as I have heard nothing further about it from them, I have contacted my bank to dispute the transaction and get my money back. I will also report to Fair Trading QLD and ACCC and judging from the amount of complaints here, maybe I should also contact 'A Current Affair', I'm sure they would love to hear about a company that year after year seems to get away with scamming customers out of their money.

that the skirting board was showing, I measured the others and they too were all short with varying measurements also the quality did not seem as good. I returned the curtains to my local Carseldine curtain wonderland store and whilst the lady there was very apologetic when I mentioned I'd open them and hung one of the curtains she said oh they won't take it back. Why wouldn't I hang a curtain that I'd ordered before and had fit perfectly however she did proceed to process the refund but said you won't get your postage of $15 back. I was just happy to get a refund for the curtains but felt I should not be out of pocket when what I received was not what I ordered. I have since received my refund but am extremely disappointed and will not be ordering anymore. This could be perceived as false advertising as the curtain drops were shorter than advertised. It does state on the packaging that drop length and colour may vary SLIGHTLY. However I view this as a substantial difference in length as shown in the picture below which shows the new curtains length compared to the old one.

notification after opening a PayPal dispute. They did not respond to my emails or the dispute but posted it out soon after opening. I have received the blind now. The blind is fine, no complaints, but I should not have to dispute payment after 2 months to receive an item or not have my emails answered to explain the delay. Terrible service and would not use again.

advertised two year warranty period. CW requested photos which I provided and I was advised that they were sourcing replacement curtains and would be in further contact. This was mid January 2023 and I have received no further contact from CW. I have phoned on many occasions but CW’s phone is never answered and the messages left are not returned. My emails also remain unanswered. Our local shop has closed down. I definitely would not recommend purchasing from Curtain Wonderland.

Curtain Wonderland did not participate in my requested for mediation.

I have submitted complaints to the ACCC and Department of Fair Trading NSW.

My once favourite store can’t get online orders correct – I have always liked Curtain wonderland and have spent a lot of money there. I made a $500 purchase online and some of the items turned up damaged , I contacted curtain wonderland who are ignoring requests to refund the $31 for the damaged goods. helpful person tracking down the order and admitting that it had not been dealt with. I called again (1st week February 8th) and was told that I need to chase up the person involved with alterations directly via a provided phone number (despite asking to speak to a manager ... Of which I was told that there 'is not a manager'). I have since called that number over & over incessantly and it rings out (same situation as other complainants here have experienced). On top of this, I also tried calling the Curtain Wonderland Online number NUMEROUS times - no matter the option you choose, it CONSTANTLY rings out & albeit you can leave a message and told that you will be called back - no one ever returns the call. After weeks of ZERO response, I wrote an email demanding full refund - a short reply was received stating a refund would be issued within 7 days. Two weeks later, NO REFUND and no response to further emails. After weeks of frustration and nil communication, I placed a complaint via Paypal (ironically, who also received no response from CW within their stated timeframe), and as such, Paypal now have to cover that refund - assuming they will retrieve the funds eventually from CW. Considering the number of complaints here, I am astounded that there has not been an investigation by Consumer Affairs and ACCC.

curtains I would of gone to K-Mart/Target as CW charge a higher price for so called better quality.......well customer service emailed back saying I was a racists, and a bully for simply stating my lawful rights (Australian Consumer Law) and I was threatening her when saying I will go to QCAT. Grrrrrrrrr So I let their head office know about this (as the customer service person had not sent any copies of our correspondence to head office....ummmm??) and I was phoned by the Helensvale store next day (see they can respond when they want too....) saying I can get a refund on all the Madison sheers mentioned below. YES finally!!!!! I thought............NO apparently not as when I called the Helensvale store to arrange drop off of these disintegrating sheers I was informed I would only get a 'STORE CREDIT'. NO, no no, dont think so......done that before. What this company (Chinese owned) don't seem to understand is our Australian Consumer Law gives US rights. Our RIGHTS when a Major Fault happens with a product is that WE the consumer have the right under the LAW to ask for a REFUND, REPLACEMENT or REPAIR. By the way I asked for a repair but this was not even addressed. Plus the store banged on about THEIR store warranty of 2 years.......no no no yet again this is not correct with a Major fajkt as us with these disintegrating stiffening in these sheers. Is it ignorance from them or profiteering??? So it is off to QCAT. Please if you have had the 'stiffening or rubber backing' come off your curtains purchased from Curtain Wonderland and want to join me with getting a case together please contact me through product review then we can email each other. Meanwhile back in; My original review for 2019 & 2022

Wouldn't give any stars but you have to give one to get the review uploaded.

I purchased Madison sheers for my living room from Curtain Wonderland (CW) Helensvale, retail value $119.95/packet, brought during a sale so got them a bit cheaper. Within 15 months most of the stiffening at the tops had disintegrated. Material used is like the disposable shopping bags. When I called to say what was happening they couldnt get me in store quick enough however I was only offered a 'replacement ', told to bring ALL back into the store I purchased off. Since found out I had a CHOICE of Refund, Replacement or Repair but i Within 3 weeks from my complaint I had a full replacement for the 16 sheers I purchased, seems good right? Well NO. I was told these new ones are a new batch and will be ok this time. NOT SO, within 15 months AGAIN the same thing happened. However even though CW acknowledge there is a fault they have only offered me a refund on just over half the sheers I purchased, currently half have disintegrated again but the others will disintegrate as before because of the same material used. A two year warranty is on the sheers from CW but a consumer with a product with a major fault can ask for a refund or replacement, a repair if a minor fault even after the companies warranty time. I asked for a full refund as I can't have half different sheers in the same living room as I have to replace all, big cost to me to buy them ALL again for that one room, making the remainding sheers Not Fit for Purpose, so what are CW thinking? Huge cost to me above my purchase is covered under my consumer rights as well. CW refuse to acknowledge me now as only offering to refund on the ones that have disintegrated so far. Consumer law states, is it Fit for Purpose?, I just want a refund on ALL sheers for this one room so I don't have added expenses to cover their fault. CW are still selling these sheers and other curtains by this same manufacturer, now at a reduced rate of $34.95, not $119.95, still with the same issues judging by some customers reviews months years after I had the same faults. Not good enough Curtain Wonderland. Three years have passed since my first purchase and when these sheers are replace by a different brand from a different store it will be three roomful of sheers in three years, quality guarantee??? I dont think so. Don't purchase off this company and please spread the word of their unethical practises. Purchased in August 2020 at Curtain Wonderland.

NOT Value for Money and they are still selling these faulty sheers today. Tried to upload a video of the issue as it was happening and stills and receipt, they didn't load, not sure why but this site said 'unexpected problem occurred ', sorry.

Delivery never came. QLD head office doesn't have any staff to order stock – CW QLD doesn't seem to have any staff in the office so do not order from them. Helensvale. The set was full cotton, unlike elsewhere. The delivery was fast and hassle free. An invoice was enclosed together with a Thank You note. Also a nice invite for feedback. It took me by surprise because I rarely see this kind of service anywhere these days. I do shop in this company and have always been happy with their service and goods. For that reason, I'll continue shopping there.
