various options that were available to me and the advantages and disadvantages of the various options.

At no time did i feel any pressure to purchase, they were very knowledgeable of the products they were selling.

All information and exchanges were friendly and courteous, like talking to a family member.

With the information they both supplied me, and no pressure to purchase, I left the store with more information about my need and the benefits of the product.

Again there was no pressure to purchase, I left the Custom Design Furniture, feeling asb though I was leaving family members after a catch-up.

After careful consideration and some further research and visiting another store, looking at different manufactures and doing more comparison, I went home to think about my choices.

The next day I returned to Custom Design Furniture at Castle Hill and place a deposit on two Stressless, Sunrise swivel recliners chairs with seperate ottoman.

My reasons; apart from the quality of the Stressless product, it was the honesty and friendliness of both Puneet and Valadimir

12 weeks for a 6-week promised delivery. No response to emails. Rude and unapologetic when visited in person. Save yourself the immense hassle and do not give this company your business. They cannot be trusted to keep their word. Show details

Poor quality furniture – Don’t buy any lounges from this store. You definitely don’t get what you pay for! The quality of the lounges from the material to the manufacturing is very poor and looks cheap compared to other much cheaper lounges I have bought. customer service I got to resolve this issue was appalling from the retailer to the material company. It took 4months to resolve and it would have taken longer if I wasn’t calling or emailing weekly. They were hesitant in repairing the lounge initially but with my constant insistence eventually they did . Buyer beware.

DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. I purchased the product on March and received it on October – The store was simple to navigate. Failed to deliver correct Chairs and Table leg scratched – Very unpleasant experience and poor customer service. told they will fix it when my chairs are swapped out. Fine, I accept this. Fast forward to February 2021 and the scratch is repaired and my chairs get replaced. But they are the wrong model. Different to what I requested. Another few days go by while they try to get the chairs I ordered and now I'm told that the chairs I chose are no longer available, discontinued. I had the option for a full refund and return the furniture within the week. So am I supposed to sit on the floor while I wait another 8 weeks? Very inconsiderate, dishonest and no empathy to the customers expectations. Would have been nice to know when furniture is discontinued BEFORE you sell it. Would have saved me a lot of hassle and anguish.

Renee is an absolute legend. She suggested a range of leather & timber recliner chairs that we wanted to put into our new caravan. Her courteous manner was very much appreciated. Great service and great range – We ordered 2 sofas and a chair and ottoman from Jayne at Custom Designs Moore Park. She spent ages with us and was very patient and helpful. We were extremely satisfied with Jayne and Anthony and all the staff for a professional caring attitude. The sofas and chair are just what we ordered and are very stylish and comfortable.

Sales are not aware how add-ons affect the final product and are reluctant to resolve issues if they – Jayne at Moore Park works hard to get the sale and once done she doesn't want to know about you especially if something gets wrong with the furniture. In our case the sofa bed we received was higher and shallower in depth compared to the sofa displayed in the store, back cushions were also shorter. Overall, the lounge we've got was quite uncomfortable compared to the one we saw in store and based on which we made the purchase. When I contacted Jayne, she had no intention of helping to resolve this situation even though it was her fault of not warning us that installation of bed is likely to affect height and depth. Her response was "nothing can be done". When I insisted, Jayne promised to discuss our situation with the manager Anthony and contact us ASAP. Haven't received a word from her in more than a week, we went to the store to check how the things are traveling. Anthony did not seem to be very keen to help us either, however, he promised that some other person will come and take a look at the lounge. Needless to say that no-one turned up. More than a month since they promised to send someone and neither Jayne nor Anthony bothered to follow up with us.

Now using the lounge for about two months I noticed that one seat cushion started sagging, perhaps because the foam was not evenly cut. Given Jayne's attitude towards their customers, I'm very reluctant to raise these issues with her and her boss - it's simply waste of my time. It's particularly disappointing because they knew I'm pregnant and want to have these issues sorted soon.

happy customers – We recently purchased a 3 seater sofa from the Moore Park store. Changing the seating and back cushions from 3 cushions to two was no problem and we were also able to change the length of the sofa. How refreshing to be able to basically design your own couch. The staff were so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We love our very comfy couch and will definitely be using them again in the future.

BEWARE of a "custom design" order actually being done correctly – We purchased a 'Boston style' loungeroom set at Custom Designs Moore Park store in September 2017. IT HAS TAKEN 7 MONTHS to have all of our furniture delivered!! Satisfactory service initially, however when the 'Custom made' display cabinets arrived they had not been made as per order. The doors were returned correctly made but damaged.

The doors were then returned incorrectly stained on 3 separate occasions and did not match the rest of the furniture.

Throughout this ridiculous process over 7 months the extremely poor communication between warehouse and sales staff left us frustrated and angry.

Furniture arrived on every occasion extremely dirty and dusty.

Notice given for time of delivery is poor and via text messages of broken English.

Warehouse and delivery staff have a very limited command of English which makes it virtually impossible to communicate when there is a problem.

I would recommend if you have a "custom made" design delivered that is incorrect, do not let them take half of the order away as they are clearly not capable of correcting such errors.

Or simply... do not purchase a "custom design" from "Custom Designs Furniture"!

If what they offer is not quite what you are looking for, look elsewhere! Buyer beware.
