 AI reviews summary

Pros
Customer care individuals: Specific support team members are helpful and professional when resolving customs delays and locating missing items.
Proactive communication: Regular email updates and follow-ups from staff ensure some complex delivery issues reach a positive resolution.
Customs assistance: Staff provide clear guidance on required documentation to facilitate the release of international shipments from customs.
Redirection and recovery: Support teams successfully coordinate address corrections and parcel redirections when initial delivery attempts fail.
Cons
Delivery attempt accuracy: Status updates frequently claim delivery was attempted or the location was unsafe when recipients were present and no driver arrived.
Handling and security: Parcels are left in public areas, tossed onto driveways, or placed in full view of the street, sometimes resulting in theft or weather damage.
Tracking and delays: International shipments often stall for weeks once they reach Australian depots, with tracking information providing inaccurate or contradictory dates.
Support accessibility: Wait times for phone support are long, and email responses often consist of generic templates that do not address specific enquiries.
Verdict

Individual customer service representatives are frequently praised for their personal efforts to resolve delivery errors and customs issues. However, the service is undermined by systemic failures in the final delivery stage, including inaccurate tracking and poor parcel handling. Delivery reliability is inconsistent once packages reach local distribution centres.

We have now had 3 parcels held by these idiots stating customs charges due when they are clearly not. Well hold all tickets I have just sent an official complaint to Dept of Home Affairs Border Force. They have confirmed they will look into this company for missrepresenting themselves as Customs when the charge is clearly not going to Aus Customs.… Read more

Now I am filing a case with QCAT to get my payments back, and hopefully a judge that decides to take the case further and institute criminal charges for missrepresenting a Gov Dept.

DAI Post delivers to the Blue Mountains on behalf of DHL. Package was from the US. Unprofessional and lazy. Driver walked out in thongs, took a photo of our letterbox then instead of using the path to the front door, he just threw the parcel from the footpath. Show details

Fake deliveries – If I could give a zero I would. I have never heard of DAI and I hope to never have to hear of them again. After an ‘unsafe to deliver’ notification on the tracking, I was surprised, if someone had rung the door bell I would have had a notification. I checked the front gate camera and confirmed no one attended the property. After hours on hold… Read more

to DAI listening to the worst hold music, I was assured delivery instructions would be relayed and that I would receive a call on mobile when delivery is made.

4 days later I’m at home all day and notice another ‘unsafe to leave’ remark on the tracking from 20mins prior. I checked the cameras and no one had attended the property nor did anyone call me. I call DAI to ask if the courier can return and deliver. I was told I would receive a call back within half an hour. Two hours later I call DAI back and am told I will be contacted end of day. When I am emailed I received no update other than sorry. And I still have no idea when or if I will receive the parcel.

To top off the lack of receipt of parcel what has frustrated me possibly the most is having to listen to the attached hold music over and over for hours. Screams of some upper management disconnected employee who thought it would be funny, it’s only funny to say ‘I’m on hold, I hope it’s not all day’, ‘sitting here in my own for days’ if you actually have short wait times. What a way to make fun of customers

Ah, I was wondering why my deliveries were not arriving, whilst all other deliveries were arriving without issue. Looking at all these similar reviews and experiences from other customers it makes complete sense. I also had to stick a sign encouraging the delivery driver to complete his mission and not give up. Every time, he'd walk up and walk… Read more

away, even though it tells him all he has to do is deliver the package either next door or push the company office doorbell, and someone will go down. But it makes sense now; just terrible company and terrible drivers.

If you see the tracking data it's hilarious: "It’s happening, your parcel will be delivered today. Get ready! 17 September 2026 at 9:57 am (Local time)" then "We couldn’t leave your parcel safely. We’ll let you know how to collect it. 17 September 2026 at 6:21 pm (Local time)" even though the business open all day till 9 pm. Then "Parcel out for final mile carrier delivery 21 September 2026 at 9:55 am (Local time)" then "Undeliverable, address details incorrect 21 September 2026 at 10:58 am (Local time)" then " We’ve moved your delivery to the next run and are prioritising it to minimise any delay, thanks for your patience. 21 September 2026 at 10:58 am (Local time)" then "Held in depot, pending further instructions 21 September 2026 at 10:58 am (Local time)"

... if you can't deliver your packages, perhaps you shouldn't be a delivery company. You are merely a money laundering front.

Time to wind up the business. Going to get a refund from the credit card company this is hopeless.

If I could give zero stars I would. I dealt with a customer service officer who basically did not care about my parcel. The sender gave authority to leave, however from the moment photos, the courier threw it from the road, into my yard in clear view from the street. No diligence was taken to try and place the parcel in a safe spot. When I… Read more

Rating: 0 out of 5 stars Title: Ignored instructions and dumped my parcel on a public floor — resulted in theft. Review: If I could give zero stars, I would. I use an Australia Post Parcel Collect address specifically to ensure my deliveries are kept secure. Before my package from the US was delivered. First, they got my address wrong,… Read more

essentially part of the address was missing, so my parcel was not delivered. I contacted them asking why - they did not contact me. I contacted this courier with explicit instructions that the delivery must be physically handed to the post office staff so it could be safely held for my collection, after I present my identification.

Instead, the driver and the company completely ignored my instructions and basic common sense. Rather than handing it over to the staff members inside, they just dumped the box on the floor in a highly trafficked, public lobby outside the post office. As you can see in the attached photo, which this delivery company sent to me as proof of delivery no less, they literally just left it sitting on the floor for anyone to take. Unsurprisingly, because it was abandoned in a public access area, my parcel was stolen. I have sent them emails reporting this, but I have not received an email reply, just being ignored. This is gross incompetence and completely unacceptable service. Do not trust this company with anything valuable—even if you give them clear instructions, their drivers will not follow them.

Absolutely rubbish, I got a notification saying it had been delivered which it had not been. I later called customer service to request proof of delivery images only to see they had delivered it to the complete wrong address! In a different street! I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with DAI Post after purchasing an item from the US that was handed over to them for Australian delivery. The parcel was never delivered, yet the company repeatedly refused to acknowledge this. Instead, I spent weeks going back and forth via email with customer service, constantly being told the matter… Read more

was “under investigation.” I was regularly promised responses within 24 hours, only to wait a week or more each time. Eventually, they stopped responding altogether for extended periods.

After weeks of this, they suddenly claimed the parcel had been delivered. When I replied explaining that it absolutely had not been delivered, they sent me a screenshot claiming the receiver (me) had confirmed delivery — which I most certainly did not.

To make matters worse, they later added a “delivered” status to the tracking history, but the timestamp appeared inconsistent with previous updates and even conflicted with dates mentioned in their own emails of when it had been delivered. As you can see from the screenshots, they claim the parcel was delivered on the 11/4, 14/4 and on 22/4. They failed to deliver the parcel, and refused to even acknowledge that they had, instead, opting to lie and say I myself had confirmed it had been delivered.

Based on my experience, I would strongly avoid using this company if possible.

DAI served as Final Mile Carrier. There was a SNAFU in the delivery, and on talking to customer service, the delivery coordinates indicate a misunderstanding of the address. However said customer service person, one Jella Nabua, was able to track the first package, and have both it and another that was also coming through DAI's system properly delivered. Show details

received at all. I've had to call them 9 times to follow up over the last week and keep getting messed around. Appalling service, why a company like FedEx would contract them as local couriers is beyond me.

Follow-up  · Surprise surprise. Another terrible experience with them. They delivered to the wrong address once - that mistake I cannot tell if it was due to the sender misaddressing the parcel, or DAI entering the address into the system incorrectly (a number was dropped from the unit number). Same issue as plenty have already mentioned. Fake delivery attempts. I have been home both times they've "attempted delivery" and both times no one has buzzed my apartment. Title: Stuck in customs clearance with generic template responses and no accountability Review: DO NOT rely on DAI Post for time-critical international deliveries. My package was originally scheduled for delivery a week ago, yet it has been sitting in customs clearance without any legitimate progress. Despite submitting all required documentation… Read more

accurately and on time, customer service has offered nothing but broken promises. Over the phone, I was given verbal assurances that clearance would take 1 to 2 days, which stretched to 2 to 3 days, and since then I have received zero real follow-up. Every email response from support consists of the exact same copy-pasted template explaining "batch processing" mechanics. When I directly requested a manager or supervisor’s contact information to escalate the issue, the request was completely ignored and answered with another canned response. I live in a location where depot collection is not an option, and sitting on a shipment for over a week while hiding behind automated templates is completely unacceptable. An operations manager needs to review this manifest immediately and prioritize this parcel for express dispatch directly to my address. Still waiting for my package as we speak
