Occasional de scaling is required . We use distilled water only. It last longer.

5 Star first home coffee machine – I love Nespresso pods - can't fault them - have bought generic brands and that's a no! I find Nespresso pods of all varieties full of flavour. Very easy to use and cleaning is simple and efficient. Never had a problem with this machine and would be happy to upgrade.

Good coffee, machine broke twice in three years – It's easy to use, makes great coffee but it is not robust. Sort of like the cheaper Italian car brand. We love the Nespresso system but will not be buying DeLonghi again. You are buying into a premium system and paying for convenience. If you can afford it there is no better convenient coffee. But none of that matters if the machine does not work......beware!

Don't expect any customer service – If George Clooney knew how bad the customer support was at Nespresso Australia he would be embarrassed. We have just got our machine back from it's 4th repair attempt after much pleading with Customer Support to just do the right thing and replace it. still does not work. After 4 services to fix 2 problems they fixed one problem on the first attempt but reversed the button settings in the process, so I'd rate that as a failure. After the next 3 attempts to fix the milk steamer which stopped working after 6 months (we'd descaled as per manual twice) they have failed every time.

So the technicians are useless. But worst are the customer support team. That these people are paid for what they do is disgusting. We have talked to more than 10 customer support people and they are useless. They never call back, they never give email updates as promised. Once we talked to 3 people to find out when we could expect our machine back and all 3 gave totally different answers as to how the repair process works. Good luck if you can get onto a senior person in the customer support network. We managed too after much persistence and were finally promised a new machine. No follow up, no calls ...just the old machine returned untouched. Australia we should all be ashamed if as a country we are so poor at customer support. nice machine – This is great all in one machine. Tried supermarket type taste awful. Nespresso pods beautiful but hard to buy. Internet or nespresso cafe in perth city.not an option. awesome haven't tried other flavours yet. Machine makes soooo creamy milk froth beautiful or can adjust yo light froth whichever you like paid less do ask for discount @ harvey norman..

Update:

Purchased a delonghi latissima pod machine love it. Pods taste great but a bit pricey and can't buy in supermarket. Discovered Coles branded pods fit Nespresso machine and tastes great and half the price @ $4 box of 10 and available @ coles. Ethiopian pod delicious. Try them pretty darn good.

Great for daily fix of caffeine – This machine doesn't produce the perfect cappuccino or latte. But it does kick out a nice coffee with milk without having to play around with frothers etc

Coffee not hot enough – We have one of these machines and it works well except we had to get the milk frother top replaced which seems to be a common problem. Our only complaint is that it simply doesn't make the cup of coffee hot enough. I have measure the temperature of a cup of milk coffee at only 64degC which is way too cool. for it to be only between 65 and 70degC. With the benefit of hindsight I would probably buy a machine which comes with a separate milk frother that allows the milk temperature to be set higher. Easy to use, coffee tastes good. COFFEE TEMPERATURE IS WAY TOO LOW.

It's a great machine :) – I absolutely love my little nespresso machine. They are so easy to clean and maintain, and it's small size means its pretty easy to take places if you want to.
