The girl I spoke to regarding the repair couldn't care less. After explaining that I wasn't a fool and understood how to use the machine, I was put onto her supervisor who had an even less helpful manner.

I'm a member of the Nespresso Club (which appears to be meaningless) and have been a loyal customer for years with two machines. All of this means nothing.

I'm now putting together my complaint to the OFT regarding these guys and the rubbish product they are selling - AND the rubbish customer service they provide.

If you can buy a different machine - buy it.

The Nespresso people are utterly unconcerned regarding the satisfaction and care of their clients and couldn't care less.

Very disappointed.

unit has travelled to multiple mine sites with me and been abused more than Barnaby Joyce's staffers and unlike Barnaby's marriage this thing is still going and going strong. The only draw back is the milk jug can get a nasty smell to it, but you can buy milk cleaning agents to fix this, unlike the previous mentioned lads marriage there's not a lot in a bottle that will help there. Cannot recommend this unit any more highly well done Delonghi champion effort my Kim Jong Delonghi AKA Bessie salutes you!!!

fridge- BONUS I thought lol but I found that the milk went off before the due date (hot water somehow enters the container) If you use it everyday this may not bother you. Though, it does have a plastic tubing in this milk container which is impossible to clean if you do not have a dishwasher & even then boiling water through plastic is toxic and wearing - this is where it fails for me.

Maybe if it had a tiny brush that fit in there for cleaning... that would be great but it doesn’t and unfortunately milk is one of those things you just cannot leave as it festers and makes us sick!

Brilliant machine and close to cafe quality coffee – I got the compact machine today as a back up during the COVID19 crisis and after a couple of issues with the pods initially I was able to make my first coffee. The coffee filter is easy to use once you figure out how to insert the pods and the milk frother is brilliant. It's very easy to clean too. It's also attractive on the bench. I love this machine and cannot believe I didn't buy it sooner as it's such a joy to use when I can't get to a cafe. Show details

Hope it never breaks! – Had for over 3 years. Works perfectly and is regularly used by 4 people in our home. Temperature is great and consistent. So much easier than our old machine to use. Poor machine – Had so much trouble with this machine, sent it back after 1year for manufacture reset, some months later it started to play up again, after contacting Nespresso they informed me my machine was out of warranty & if I wanted to have it repaired it would cost me$150.00 , Ideclined their offer. Nespresso Lattissma plus after watching a few videos and a few reviews.

Having received the machine I tried a number of pods ranging from Coles , Nespresso,and Mycuppa and Espressoland.

What I found was disappointing.

The coffee was bitter and the water temperature was too hot .

The Coles brand was the worst

The Mycuppa brand boasted freshness and quality but they were just too mild .

The Nespresso pods were a mix from strong (bitter) to mild (weak)

Espressoland pods Hera not bad at all not as bitter as some .I have yet to try the Venus and Hermes from this company but first impression is they will be OK being Arabica beans and not the cheaper Robusta.

Noted also that the Hera boasts 6gm per cap which is better than the usual 5.1grams

Back to the machine

The shots in the glass were too small (40ml) and too weak (110ml)

I adjust the volume to about 60ml and 80 ml respectively.

It improved matters slightly but it in no way came close to the brew from the expensive machines.

The problem is the pods are too small, trying to extract a decent cup from 5ml of ground is just about impossible, because the expensive machines use around 10-15ml , so there you see the problem.

Add a bit of sugar and things improve and having said that I can say drinking the brew straight out of the machine as I have always done just did not hit the mark for me.

The milk frother does a really good job and the only way to kill that bitter flavour is to do it this way with a bit of sugar.

I will use the machine till it breaks but would steer clear of the pod machines in the future , they are just false economy.

You can pick up a decent fully auto for around $1,000 these days and when you consider the cost per cup is around 33cents you can see the pods , which range from the low forties to almost a dollar a shot soon eat up the difference in price.

In my calculation you are paying up to $99.00 a kilo for the pods versus $20.00 a kilo (on special) for the grounds.

Three to four times the price which means after 2 years of regular use it is no longer economical and the price of buying a better and more expensive machine begins to make a lot of sense.

Great machine – good size machine doesn’t take up much space on the bench. Love that you can store any unused milk in the fridge. Can easily make numerous coffees quickly. Easy to clean, all top dishwasher safe. Have had the machine for 5 yrs and have noticed the milk does froth as per the setting selected may be because it is old.  Show details

Can’t live without it – We use this little wonder between 3 and 4 times every day. It makes a fantastic coffee that is nice and hot. We are so impressed that we have taken it on road trips and in our caravan to make sure we get the coffee we want every time. Compact and really easy to use – My sales team are very happy I purchased this for our office. Makes very nice cream coffee – Bought this because I love an early cuppa in the morning and sometimes lunch. The milk is just the right amount and foams really nicely on top. It's not super strong too and always makes the same tasting coffee. It was super hard to find more small cups so we use the main one and transfer into a different cup  Show details

Enjoying this product – Very satisfied with this machine. The coffee produced is good, still trying out different flavours. The temperature is always correct but I wish the froth was a bit thicker. Easy to use and keep clean – We have had our machine now for almost 7 years. It is still working very well, easy to use and keep clean. It makes a great cup of coffee. I love my coffee machine - it makes a beautiful cup of coffee, but that’s not what this review is about.

I had an issue with my machines descaling indicator being stuck on (my own fault, didn’t read the manual properly).

I contacted Nespresso Customer Care today (Manuel was the consultant) and received the best customer support I’ve ever been given. Manuel was thorough, patient, and invested in resolving the issue for me during the first call.

Not the best – When I got this coffee machine I thought it was going to be the best. But sadly it didn’t live up to its expectations. The first few months of using this product it made great coffee. No issues easy to use good coffee – Makes good coffee with just a touch of a button. Easy to use Milker, just pop into fridge and clean when needed, easy to take apart and clean. As for coffee pods, there really isn’t any difference between Nespresso original or supermarket LOR brand. After trying both, we buy the LOR when on special.

Im still using the machine without any issues after 18 months.

Love it still – Makes great coffee - purchased nearly 10 years ago and it still brews a good drop. Doesn’t cope as well with generic capsules but I suppose this is to be expected. Makes superb coffee – We had this demoed to us in store and loved the tast we bought one and have had it for now a few months. Great product, daily use – Easy to use, easy to program. Most of the detachable components are dishwasher safe. Easy to clean with the descaling kit - even tells you when it needs to be done, I know I wouldn't remember to do it every 600 capsules used or whatever it is! So easy!. If you want, you can program and save to suit your cup sizes and taste preferences. Once you set, it remembers it for ever more. The coffee is not super hot, so for those that like hot coffee I changed the energy-save function to 30min before cutting off (very easy to do, read the instructions). Each day I jump out of bed of a morning, turn the machine on, go to the bathroom to shave etc, then make my coffee and it is a decent temperature. The machine really is the bees neez!

Compact and stylish and doesnt take much bench space. Moderately noisy but doesnt wake the entire household here. Ordered silver but was advised by store only display model available but was able to change for a black model.
