Love coffee love this one – Very smooth result. Loventhe taste of the coffee. Easy installation and easy to use. The hot water part boils within 10 seconds. Milk frother is okay. Limited quantity and can only use plain milk. I tried to use other milk (almond and soya milk). It didnt create any good froth. Easy to clean tho. requested a new machine and after much stress and arguing Nespresso replaced the machine - at the end of July the 3rd U machine is not working! I have asked for a replacement and Nespresso are again not accepting responsibility for their machines. It is impossible to actually speak to any representatives with some continuity and it has been 3 weeks and no resolution. The manager of the Nespresso club did finally try to contact me on Friday 18th August but I am not responding as I do not have the time to sit on the phone yet again through their 1800 number and yet again repeating THE SAME ISSUE to some other representative. I have never experienced such poor quality or service with so much frustration. I have friends who have experienced similar frustrations and have since purchased other brands.

Disappointed – Iv`e used Nespresso Pods, and been a Club member for over 7 years, and four months ago switched from an Essenza which I`d been using for 7 years, to an U-Milk. fantastic,(its in for the leak a second time) ,and lending me a replacement -all at no cost, and their service is fast .However, in my opinion the U-Milk doesn`t make as strong a cup of coffee as the old Essenza, or the Breville Nespresso which is still on loan to me. The water tank is also small when compared to the old Essenza, and the loan machine Perhaps I bought a 'lemon' and no amount of fixing will make it good.?

But I certainly am not impressed with this model, and although more expensive than the Essenza, would certainly swap back to an Essenza if given the opportunity. Having said that, I notice that the available Essenza is also a new model that has had the large water tank replaced with a small one(a backward step in my opinion)and I wonder what else they have changed compared to the older model.

Very Average – The machine does the job, nespresso pods are good but wish I can adjust the temperature of the drink to my liking. It's warm and I prefer little hot. Aeroccino is pretty average and isn't worth the extra dollar if you're after a creamy froth that you get in cafe's. Temperature is warm and very drinkable but would be good if it can be increased. see the milk sticks at the bottom of frother plus it's shape, really doesn't allow the fingers to reach for easy clean.

Prefect! – Amazing coffee, used it daily before work - it's my pick me up in the mornings! Yes Nespresso has amazing coffee pods which my machine produce consistently. Temperature of the coffee was great and the milk frother is so handy. Good machine – I bought mine a few years ago and I find it reliable, easy to use and it looks good on the kitchen bench. Coffee is only as good as the pods you buy - and you can use the supermarket pods in it. Only downside is cleaning it is a bit annoying and sometimes the milk spills if you over fill it.  Show details

only requires 1 power outlet and space on the bench

- The coffee comes out in 3 different sizes- ristretto, espresso and lungo. Espresso gives the best flavour for my coffee taste

- Only comment on the Aeroccino would be to put less milk in as there it froths quickly and the extra frother (with spring attached) is not really required as the normal one froths so well already.

Live for my morning coffee – This is my second nespresso machine. I like them because you get a great tasting coffee quickly, no mucking about. Sometimes I use nespresso pods and sometimes supermarket pods. Not that much difference that I can tell. The milk froths to a good temperature and so I get a great coffee every time.  Show details

Excellent second machine for the study – This machine is not suitable for making lots of coffees at the same time. Great for a second machine for a quick coffee. Easy to use and clean. Great Coffee Machine for busy lifestyle – Obtained this coffee machine from my company for free. The Nespresso U is very easy to use and makes great coffee with minimal hassle. Used to own another espresson machine where I had to get ground beans, but I find that it is hard to keep the beans fresh. LOVEEEE! – The coffee taste just the same as in store at Nespresso. It is so easy to use, a simple click of the button and its done. All I do after I froth the milk is rinse it and wipe it once and its as clean as new. Very reliable coffee maker – We've been using our Nespresso U for over a year now and we absolutely love it! We sometimes use nespresso comparable capsules and works great! I wash the milk frother right after every use (which is everyday) but am not complaining. If you wan't to skip this, you could opt for the latissima instead as it has a separate milk container you can put in the fridge.  Show details

Love my coffee, can't live without it – My coffee machine is my morning lifeline!! months. I have read reviews complaining about the supplied Aeroccino milk frother not working, however I think it is more common that there is an issue with the milk. I use Coles brand full cream milk, no more than a week old and my Aeroccino froths the milk perfectly. One issue I have noticed is that the machine cannot draw enough power to extract coffee & froth milk at the same time, often resulting in warm flat milk. Extracting coffee and frothing milk separately seems to fix this issue. Overall, a great little machine that has been producing great coffee for over a year!

great! No problems at all. The convenience remains awesome. I'm really happy the portion sizes have been adjusted (compared to my previous version) so a large is truly a large now.

I only use purified water so not sure the filter is necessary but it is comforting. Also, with previous machine & this one, once a month I run a cycle of vinegar water thru it (followed by a number of water only cycles to rinse). Have never used the approved cleaning solution & never had a problem with taste, portion size, etc.
