A Lounge Bangon Righton as Researched.
Ok, I was looking to update my lounge when I accidently came across Desired Living. I had never even heard of them - another bodge fake scamming website I thought. So I researched deeper into their website looking at the different ranges of unusual nice products and displays they had. Then all of a sudden a pop up chat thingy pops up and before I know it, I'm having a type in conversation with this Harris guy and he's showing all the many of other different ranges of products. Anyway all was going too fast with this guy as it wasn't even 2 minu...tes and already he's quoting me a price. So like all online sales people, I'm getting the impression to immediately pull out my credit/debit card. 'Ok, stop right there mate' I thought. So I deliberately disconnected him and went back to the Desired Living website, to where I had started before Harris popped up out of the blue and started doing more research on their products. I even researched and read the positive reviews, skipping the negative reviews. Taking my time, I even found that Desired Living had an option where you could play around and customise and measure your own lounge to your desired taste and colour. Now having to know that there was that option, I patiently and carefully measured up my lounge room using a measuring tape, pen, paper, worked out what size, length, width, depth, dimension and colour I wanted the lounge, then saved all the info into where Desired Living offers you that option to save. So, did I go to the check-out after that? No, I simply printed it off, rang them, found their address, drove to their instore address and showed them the printout of what exactly what I wanted. I think I spoke to Nik??? Where he sat down with me, listened to me, and then started getting to work on his desktop computer and his desk, then explained everything to me. Even threw in a free coffee table of my choice to match to the exact colour and colour code of the lounge. And even threw in 5 years warranty. After been quoted the price, it was a little more than what I was quoted from Harris's product but I was happy with the product I wanted. Sorry Harris. Being told it'll take up to 12 weeks for delivery, maybe less or because of the pandemic a little more for the product/s to be delivered. After a few follow ups, it took 15 weeks and a few days. On delivery and arrival, the delivery guys' were professional and upon examining and careful opening and inspection of the packages, nothing was damaged. Installation was easy. And exactly how I planned and imagined how it would fit into the living room, giving that luxury finishing touch, matching all the other furniture. Overall, extremely happy. Would I recommend Desired Living? Absolutely 200% Thank you and Merry Christmas to all staff. Owh I almost forgot? What did I purchase? I purchased the Bradford Leather Sofa Lounge Set: SKU A202
Long wait but worth it
Our flake leather lounge set arrived yesterday and everyone that has seen it has commented on how good it looks. The wait time was around 13 weeks for us which is a bit longer than the 8-12 weeks advertised. However we accept this in this covid environment does impact everyone. Well worth waiting especially for the price compared to a similar couch elsewhere which was double the price !
Perfect customisation down to the finer details!
Firstly thank you for a wonderful couch delivered. We are impressed by the level of customisation that is possible via your website . I would recommend you somehow replicate it for your mobile users but perhaps that might be a bit more difficult for a smaller screen profile. Either way very happy with the quality and service and we would happy to be return customer if we ever need another sofa .
Great advice and down to earth
We bought the new Fina model on recommendation from Jim . Very glad we took his advice because it looks great in our family room and it has all the tech features that a modern couch should have . We are one grateful customer !!!

I have dealt with ambreen who has been extremely helpful both in helping us pick our pieces and after sale service. We are very happy with our couch and have a tv cabinet and a single armchair on order. While we love the furniture, the customer service is really what impresses us!
Impressive after hours service
I do wonder if these guys sleep or if they hire someone in a different Timezone to answer our chat requests . As I work odd hours , I reached out at 1 am in the morning not expecting to be answered ! Pleasantly surprised to find Emily responding to our questions . Ordered a London 3 seater chaise which arrived last week. Quality is good and happy with our purchase. The legs were slightly damaged during transportation but Desired living were good enough to replace them for us. Would recommend
I was a bit overwhelmed with all the choices and options I could do for the sofa I had purchased but thankfully the staff at the store were very helpful and guided me well. My leather sofa set arrived over the weekend and I am very happy with it.

We ordered a bright green 3 seater chaise and we are thrilled by how it blends into our themed living room . We looked long and hard to find the right colour. Many places didn’t have what we wanted . We are glad to have found Desired Living - please extend my thanks to Jo who really helped with the colours and sending the colour samples a few times with patience !
ordered a europa chesterfield set from Jim in sydney, he was very professional and gave me excellent advice on colour choices for my man cave. The leather on the sofa is smooth and looks 101%. You just earned yourselves a loyal customer desired living.
Good price and happy with my purchase
I am loving my olive green chesterfield which we ordered from Desired Living in April this year. The quality is definitely better than I had anticipated given the price I paid for it. Would highly recommend to anyone who doesn’t want to pay the price tag for an overpriced furniture piece.
A long drive but worth it
took me an hour to get to the store, wish it was closer to the west. But so happy I took the effort, I found a great 3 seater recliner in stock. It has been delivered and to my surprise they put a free cleaning kit for my lounge. THANK YOU
After much deliberation and upon confirmation from Harris that we would be fully refunded if the set we ordered was the wrong colour, and that transportation costs would be covered we placed an order for a leather set. Our order was being transported to Adelaide. Apart from a phone call from Aasra regarding final payment, for the whole 13 weeks there was no phone call to let us know how things were progressing. Our couches finally arrived but were not the colour we ordered. We immediately informed Harris via email, sms and phone calls regarding...the possibility of returning the couches. That was 5 weeks ago! Apart from a phone call from Harris, stating that the situation was going to be solved on the day (3 weeks after the complaint was made) that he texted, and an email from Ambreen in the Warranty department promising to be in touch in a 'few days'. We are no closer to a resolution. I have lodged a report with the ACCC and am currently going through the consumer, business services here in Adelaide...hoping that a solution will be reached soon before pursuing small claims. This review is more for those who are ordering online to be wary...Desired Living really doesn't rate but I had to do 1 star in order to post a review. **Just a follow up, from this review. We've been informed by Desired Living that because we chose not to go ahead with a sample of what their 'burgundy' swatch looked like, we are not entitled to a return/exchange or a refund. For those planning on purchasing a burgundy coloured chesterfield, the burgundy quoted by Desired Living i.e. colour 0326 IS NOT burgundy it is more cherry coloured red/pink** ***Further update...we finally unpacked the whole package and found one of the chair legs had a big chip in it - looked like someone had grooved a hole in it while unscrewing it - the other legs had indentations in it...so didn't really look brand new. Furthermore we cross checked swatches and number 0326 is DEEP RED and not BURGUNDY. See proof below.
They provide fully customizable furniture online so that was great. Had some really nice designs and the sofa that arrived seems good quality. Prices of the sofas are good but the shipping is pretty pricey.
Beautiful and comfortable
A big thankyou to Desired Living and the staff in sydney. The leather recliners arrived today and are amazing. I am sitting on them right now and these reclienerss are very comfortable. The shop in Sydney had a good range on display and Jim or Jason in the store was very professional and helped a lot. I am satisfied with the lounge desired living have provided.
Beautiful lounge i just got. Good colours recommended by guy in shop. Please with comfort. I will buy from here again should I need more lounges. I have my eye on some recliners I saw im shop.
Moved house, needed two sets a corner lounge and recliner set. Very surprised how these guys could modify the size of the lounge. Good selection of colours, I remember it taking my hours to decide. Lounge arrived last week and recliners today. Happy with both lounges, would have liked more updates while the sofa was being made.
Sofa not delivered, its been 5 months now, not responding my email or call- they tell lie all the time
I have ordered the sofa worth $7000 from [name removed] ( guy name ) Melbourne on 28/02/2020 and today is 20/07/20. It is almost 5 month, in the invoice it says product will be delivered in max 12 week, today is 20 week still nothing delivered, on 15/05/20 [name removed] said container arrived just waiting on custom clearance, on 25/05/20 I called to check when it will delivered they said it will be on 17/07/20, [name removed] lied with confidence, useless person, now they saying it will be delivered on 08/08/20, all the time dates changes, now...they not responding to my email, [name removed] is sales manager, she reads all the email but does not respond, the major problem is this [name removed], i have never seen such a useless sales person like [name removed]. I have lodge ACCC complaint, I have paid $2700 in advance, they are not returning my money, now I am planning to send my friend to their Sydney branch to take my money. My friends are mafia in the sure My if they don't receive money then they will damage the shop, bluddy crap people. Stay away from this company. Never order from this company
Great service - courier attention to detail can improve
Thanks guys for delivering us a wonderful looking couch. Your service is excellent from the start and I would not hesitate to recommend you. However please use better couriers . I understand that they may not be directly related to your business however impression matters ! We would have been happy to pay them extra to remove the existing couches but they didn’t even acknowledge our request. Otherwise it would have been a perfect experience from us .
I have been using Desired Living for many of my clients design projects and now receiving a lounge I had purchased for myself today and i must praise them and Jim in particular for always providing excellent customer service and accommodating for what each of my clients required for their projects. I always touch base with my clients to enquire of the quality of the lounges which I always hear nothing but good things. I recommend the chesterfield range which was what I bought myself
Questions & Answers
I like the prices, selection and designs shown on the website. But never get a "chat" reply, nor do they answer their phones. They sound like a very good product.. once received. But I'm scared by the neg customer service comments.
I want to ask them 2 questions. What items are on their "Flash Sale" being advertised. Also, there's a couch showing a price of $2699, but all of the colour choices add either $249 or $349. So this couch doesn't seem to actually be $2699. What am I missing?
Hey just got my sofa last week, I bought a few sofa sets, if I remember correctly the prices only change if you modify. I didint pay extra for colours but I think there was some colours that costed extra. They gave me a pretty good deal wouldn’t hurt to talk to them
I would like to know when Harris is going to respond to me about the problem with my recliners, it may be something as simple as not being assembled properly.
But I am going from being a mild mannered understanding buyer, who supported a fledgling company to becoming incensed because I can't put both legs on a recliner that doesn't lock in.
Please don't disappoint me, I have been a supporter of a smaller business but I'm fast losing patience.

Can anyone verify how good the leather quality is on these sofas? Is it real leather or is it more plastic?. That's what you call bonded leather. I see they are cheap but also only warrantied for 1 year. $2600 for 1 year isn't very good value for money. I'm looking to buy the leather Chesterfield but no one can tell me if the leather is real or not. Can't get samples or any info on how long the colour will last.
