Rip Off Merchants – Have been waiting more than 6 months for my lounge. Have been lied to twice about delivery. They have all my money. Won't return phone calls or reply to emails.

Smooth experience with desired living – Fantastic result and a breeze. The sales person provided terrific service and was very knowledgeable and gave me a great deal on my large leather lounge. I would recommend however a way to track my order rather than waiting for updates. Show details

Great comfortable recliner – I have had these fabric recliners for a while and I love sleeping on them. The arm cushions were very important to me as I always rest on one side. I'm Very happy I bought these recliner.

Company does not seem to support the warranty – This is the first negative review I've ever made. I bought a couch from desiredliving in 2022. It's a nice couch, I really like it. 18 months later the frame underneath one of the legs has broken. I contacted desiredliving in March 2024 to have it fixed (as it's covered under warranty). Initially they were quick to respond when I first contacted them, but now they are quiet and will not respond to me or tell me when a technician will attend.

This is disappointing.

**Edit** 15/01/2025 They eventually got around to sending people over to fix the couch in November. It took awhile for it to get sorted but they eventually followed through and had it fixed. From what I understand they had issues with one of their contractors and so they had to find a different contractor.

Business not functional – Ordered and paid a deposit in store for a couch in December 2023. Two months ago they contacted me that couch ready for delivery and paid the balance. No delivery and company has since not been contactable, calls not answered and they do not reply to voice messages nor emails. The shop has shut it's doors. Update, finally delivered. Show details

Stay away from them. They are scammers – Lounge and coffe table received after 7 months of payment, flawed and broken. They send someone to fix it but he couldn't. Unique lounges, great service in store – Great range in the Auburn shop. It's not my first time buying, but I buyed years ago in a different shop, the sofa then was great. the phone calls were very rude ,after lots of arguments we were told it will be delivered by mid July and we organised a function accordingly ,but they didn’t deliver on the promised time ,it came after our function and the coffee table ordered along with this didn’t come ,made multiple phone calls again ,most times no one answered or the lady from Melbourne store will answer and talk rudely.Eventually the coffee table arrived yesterday after 9 months of wait and the remote control don’t work.Very poor company overall,i never recommend this store to anyone

Very disappointing – Ordered couch in December. 6 months to arrive. Arrived without Australian electrical connections for the recliners. Contacted Desired living. They said they posted 2 x power pack cords to me on the 12th of July. Nothing has arrived. I'm very disappointed. Left multiple voicemails and emails for this company with no response.

No communication warranty still not completed one year later – When we received our lounge the footrest stools were missing and the coffee table glass was broken. I have spent the last year chasing this up. I was emailed- The Items have finally be loaded on board a container arriving into Melb in the 1st week of July We will post it out to you once it gets here. Happy and comfortable enough to sleep in – Decked out my living room with leather cinema chairs I bought from the Chatswood store. I have been using these for a week now and I love them. My kids always end up sleeping on them. It was a long search but I was glad I found these chairs. Show reply

No delivery and no contact – Bought/ordered a new couch from the Campbellfield showroom in Jan 2023 and told delivery would be 3-4 months. Tried to contact in April, May and June with no luck. 21 weeks wait on a 12 week delivery – We ordered our couch and were advised it would take 12 weeks. We recieved the couch 21 weeks later with poor communication, minimal response to calls, no email replies. The couch was good which is the only reason I didnt give one star. Don't hold your breath on delivery...

Worst company, dodgy and unreliable – We ordered some couches back in sept 2022 and was told we would receive them before Christmas sometime in Dec. it’s now Mid Feb 2023 and we still haven’t got these couches. chasing them up to see if we can get a refund as we no longer want the goods as we don’t trust the company and that there are even couches coming. They don’t get back to us despite leaving messages and assuring that they will call. I have now had to reach out to ACCC and will also initiate a case with VCAT. Honestly save yourself the hassle, but from a reliable company, it’s not worth saving a few hundred dollars.

The worst company that I have ever dealt with – Absolute nightmare to deal with. Placed an order and have been waiting for nearly 4 months to receive the products. No one responds to the email. If you call them to get an ETA, they are so rude. Please never buy anything from this shop. They just provide empty promises and excuses. I will not recommend this shop to anyone. DO NOT BUY!! leather & no where near the quality of my other chesterfield lounge I bought from HARVEY NORMN 2 years ago in my formal lounge. Yes, it was twice the price however the customer service & quality of leather & workmanship was definitely worth it. Plus HN also keep in regular touch with updates & stick to their word all the way through. They did not make fake promises. They had a great delivery service. I will never order a lounge online again. All in all, I just wish I spent the bit extra & got a far more superior product, better service & better warranty. The whole experience was way too stressful. We live & learn.

Expectations surpassed – I was aware I was taking a risk with ordering a lounge suite online and was somewhat apprehensive during the long wait for it to arrive. I'm delighted to say, however, that it met my expectations in every way. The white leather floaty suite is superbly crafted and looks stunning. Many thanks to all involved for producing furniture at such an affordable price.
