Desky product quality is unbeatable, so I have long had my eye on this attractive little Desky filing cabinet for my minimal home office area, and it does not disappoint. Great build quality, lockable, mobile and a great height to use as a printer stand (or to stash out of the way under the desk), it looks fantastic with my other Desky products. Final update ("Update 3") on Fri 15 Jul 2022 to: (1) reflect the company reaching out on this day to take feedback and walk through concerns; (2) adjust the customer experience rating from Terrible to OK, and the overall score from Bad to OK; (3) update the situation with the monitor arm. _____

** Original experience: Ordered a Desky Dual Scalloped Sit Stand Desk on Wed 29 June 2022. After receiving the wrong table top (both the wrong model, and incomplete because it was missing drill holes on one side - see picture), I immediately contacted Desky via email and LiveChat on Sat 2 June 2022 and organised the right one to be sent out. In the following days I contacted the company twice via LiveChat but the order had not even been "dispatched" - in other words, it's sitting somewhere, presumably in a warehouse.

As at Thu 7 June 2022, Desky had not replied to my email from Sat 2 June 2022, and still refused to provide an ETA for when dispatch will happen. They even referred me to their "shipping policy" which apparently gives exceptions to the "same day dispatch" claim (although I can't see it - it just claims to dispatch on the same day if the order is made before 12pm, excluding weekends and public holidays - but there have been no public holidays this week).

So much for "same day dispatch"! Might as well order from Omnidesk or UpDown if I'm going to wait that long.

** Update 1: After yet another follow up (again via LiveChat, as the company has yet to provide any follow up via my email from Sat 2 June 2022) on the morning of Fri 8 Jul 2022, I was provided a tracking number for Aramex (a courier service).

It didn't work, as the courier had apparently not yet scanned the package. Later in the afternoon, I received an automated email confirming that the replacement desk top has been dispatched and the ETA is 12 Jul 2022. We'll see if I get the right desk top this time - but this is far from "same day dispatch" (originally ordered on Wed 29 June 2022).

** Update 2: The replacement desk did not arrive on 12 Jul 2022 as estimated, but finally arrived today on Wed 13 Jul 2022. So an order from Wed 29 June took two weeks to get here in its correct form.

However, the monitor arm that I purchased from Desky is unfortunately not compatible with my Kogan 34" monitor - so another problem.

Other details: What was additionally annoying through the process was that I received multiple, multiple advertisements from Desky about their "SAME DAY DISPATCH" feature, sometimes as the subject line in an email. Also, I received an offer of $5 cash back to review the desk.

** Update 3: On Fri 15 Jul 2022 Desky called me to walk through the customer experience, take feedback and acknowledge they dropped the ball with "same day dispatch" on the replacement desk. They sorted me out with a small partial refund given the experience and asked if I would reconsider my review. Given their outreach I'm updating the customer service score and therefore the overall score as an average across product, customer experience and shipping. The shipping remains a 1 out of 5 - Terrible - because of the gap between expectation (same day dispatch, as reiterated numerous times with advertising and promotions) and reality (nowhere near same day - more like "same week").

It was interesting to note the representative did admit that, as a small startup company, they tried their best to do same day dispatch and did in the majority of cases, but it was not always the case. I suggested the company alter their advertising and claims as these could be potentially misleading - I certainly made my purchase decision off the back of the claim.

Finally, I've found a solution for the monitor arm to attach to my Kogan screen. Found some VESA adapter screws that came with my original Kogan monitor - I thought I threw these away but thankfully it was hanging around.

Exceptional customer service – I purchased an additional drawer unit, from day 1 it wasn't opening and closing smoothly. The customer service team reached out and kindly offered a replacement as mine was damaged in transit. New unit arrived within days and working perfectly. Thanks team. Show reply

Arm-azing :) – The gaming monitor arms which I’ll use for work are amazing, the sturdiness and how they manage to lift the weight of the Lenovo screens is awesome. Definitely have much more space now and got my set up how I wanted thanks to Desky. They even light up which is super duper cool haha! When arrive the box was extremely damaged with two big holes that looked like fork lift holes. As a result some of the vinyl was scratched. Was offered $150 as compensation and I took it as the scratches were minimal however they really should be reviewing their warehouse and or partners as no box should arrive that damaged for such an expensive item.

I'm obsessed with my new sit-stand desk from Desky. It was super easy to set up by myself and I love the customisable features. I added the 8 power points, cable management tray and cable grommet, all of which were easy to find and add on the website. Desky Dual Slim Aluminium Monitor Arm and Laptop Bracket. This dual monitor arm is well made and relatively easy to install. I also bought the laptop bracket. I am using both and am very pleased with the whole setup. It has given me a lot of useful space on my desktop. Show details ·  1

Really happy with my new desk chair. Very comfortable and lots of adjustable features like back tilt. Chair can be built without arm rests. Definitely worth getting the added headrest and upgraded wheels, makes the chair glide smoothly. Thanks Show reply

Installing per instructions causes the top of the PC to interfere with the motor, rub against it and not hold the PC securely. I had to insert a cardboard shim so it would hold the PC. I finally took a chance on the Desky Big and Tall Chair, and honestly, it’s a game-changer for anyone in the 190cm+ club. Can also go into the showroom and try all the chairs for an hour which is handy.

I purchased the single motor, white melamine 750 x 1200 desk, monitor stand, cable tray with 4 power points. I'm happy with my new sit/stand desk. One of the black plastic guides on the holes where you insert the screws to attach the legs to the cross bar was all bent and fell out inside the cross bar, so that made attaching the leg on one side really tricky, but I got there in the end. Everything I ordered ended up being delivered in three separate deliveries. First delivery was the monitor stand (which arrived without the screws and instructions to assemble) the melamine desktop and the cable tray. Second delivery was the legs. Third delivery was the missing screws for the monitor stand. I still had to email them to get a copy of the instructions. Customer service was very responsive and apologetic, and the missing parts were delivered pretty quickly. The quality of the desk and monitor stand is good and I would encourage others to buy, but I think Desky need to look at their packing process, particularly when they have a sale on.

its full height of 50.5". Assembly was very straightforward and as simple as it possibly could be.

I added on Desky's cable management system with two power outlet strips, making it possible to keep all cables hidden under the desk with the exception of a single power cable and an ethernet cable, both of which are partially hidden by another accessory, a magnetic cable tray that attaches to the desk's leg. The power strips each provide three standard AC outlets and one each USB-A and USB-C power ports, and snap into the cable management tray easily.

I added a 3rd-party under-desk mount for my Mac Studio, freeing up desktop space and further hiding cables. It was very easy to mount to the underside of the desktop.

I can't recommend Desky, or their Dual Hardwood Sit Stand Desk, highly enough.
