So tired of paying for premium shipping, being quoted 1-4 days to just have shipments sitting in depots for 3 days, after sitting at an airport for over 24 hours. Reported for false advertising, I encourage others who have paid premium prices and received subpar service to do the same. Show details

Spent the day waiting, as arranged with DHL. Chased and was told it was not coming till next week and I would need to spend another day at home waiting. They told me the date given was an "estimate". When I told them it clearly was not "Gary" was just rude and hung up the chat. I expected much better from DHL. A shocking experience Show details

This is the only forum I could find to leave a review about a terrible DHL driver, it seems DHL don't accept feedback and no wonder. I returned home to find a DHL delivery truck parked in the middle of a roundabout, ON A PAINTED ROAD SIGN stating "NO PARKING", blocking it to traffic. The vehicle was unattended. Upon his return I confronted the driver and informed him that I've taken pictures of his attrocious parking and that I'm going to report him to DHL (an impossible task). His excuse was that "I'm a delivery driver" as if that gave him an exemption from the road rules and to ignore the ample signage that parking on site is for RESIDENTS ONLY. No wonder DHL have so so many bad reviews. Totally unacceptable!!

for themselves as a gift, every single item they are supposed to deliver). This Dai Post provides a reference number that takes you nowhere, customer service only states that they cannot tell when the item will be re delivered. It is a never ending horror story. I wonder if this is a scam between DHL and Dai Post since none of them takes responsibility and they are partners.

because my item was “missing.” No help, no responsibility.

Earlier, I had another DHL delivery scheduled to my home. I waited the entire day, but DHL never showed up—yet they claimed they “attempted delivery” and no one was home. That is completely untrue.

Between false delivery attempts and missing parcels, I’ve lost all trust in DHL. I will never rely on DHL again.

You Pay a fortune to get express quality shipping and gets the worst service ever. I shipped my expensive handmade rugs from Egypt to Australia, properly wrapped the rugs with protective plastic and have them packed in DHL cardboard boxes in DHL office in Cairo. were transferred (wet) to different boxes and send to me in this messy condition. You can see in the photo below the original packaging and the repacking after damaging the original packing with water. I contacted DHL Australia and they moved me to DHL Egypt and after too many emails to both, they admitted that this was their mistake and that they take the responsibility for what happened. We asked for a compensation to professionally clear and restore the rugs condition, and they started to ask for more info, then ask for the cleaning invoice (which we provided), then ask for products invoice (which we also provided), then asked for an invoice in USD that matches the value we insured the shipment for!! They clearly asked us to forge and invoice to proceed with the claim, and we said we cannot do this they refused to proceed with the claim. A clear theft and worst customer care I had from a courier company that is assumed to have a good reputation.

the road no where near the gutter and I watch and he squished the box into my letterbox. It says on the top of the package so clearly on a yellow sticker to ring the doorbell and the box was smashed in on one side. I will be in touch with the company I bought the product from to let them know as it could have been broken because of this.

received a grocery delivery from a local supermarket plus an official mail where I had to sign and confirm reception. But DHL did not arrive. They also did not attempt to give the parcel to a neighbor or - what is absolutely common here - to deliver it to a nearby shop. Instead, in the delivery tracking, they stated "The ServicePoint where we would have liked to leave your parcel is closed/ We will try to deliver it to your address the next business day" - but again, they did not show up. Finally, as they stated "Shipment rerouted upon the request of the client" which is an utter lie. None of my complaints was addressed properly. The damage is 50 Euros, but again, they did not address my request. DHL sucks beyond any description.

I have proof for the sending and the return shipment on my phone, if requested.

 Follow-up  · follow-up: - DHL never contacted me directly - all there was is automated "no-reply" mails they were about to deliver. - after weeks, they sent back the parcel against my will and charged the sender again

Express. The service has been unreliable, confusing, and frustrating from start to finish.

Despite multiple “delivery attempts,” my package has never arrived. On one occasion, the driver literally disappeared before I could even buzz him into my building. When I called customer service, I spent over 30 minutes on the phone, only to be met with rude and completely unhelpful staff. Even after following up, I received no real solutions.

To make matters worse, they expected me to collect my parcel from a warehouse about 50 km away, which is completely unreasonable. I even explained that I would be away for a week and unable to receive the delivery, but they simply didn’t care.

This company operates under the DHL name but delivers a much lower standard of service. It’s misleading, unprofessional, and has left me without the goods I paid for. I would strongly advise avoiding DHL eCommerce if you want your parcel delivered reliably.

 Follow-up  · No response from DHL. Parcel was not delivered and went back.

They give no time window for when they might deliver so i missed the first delivery. Had it redelivered and gave permission to leave it in safe space. They attempted to deliver again without any communication on a time frame and I missed again (despite saying to leave it on the property). DHL then went oh well and sent my order back to Victoria leading to my order disappearing because they processed it as "Delivered". Avoid at all costs. Show details

Dhl in my area used to have a white guy delivering and collecting and if I had a delivery it was usually dropped off first thing in the morning . Did a great job. Then they got an Indian and he was bad mannered during training and did not know how to do the job and now deliveries for me always happen to close of day. 6 o clock or something. Very bad service. I selected "no signature required" delivery on their website, and the delivery man kept demanding a signature, saying my selection didn't matter. in the first place, would you? And the driver should follow the receiver's instruction rather than his own "discretion". James hung up quickly without giving me a chance to review. This company is extremely rude and unprofessional, both their driver and customer service, avoid at all costs!

shifted status in past 10 days. Today I received a copy of a memo from Australia Border Force that reads as follows: "The hold is subject to additional border processing so there are likely to be further delays with the clearance of this consignment. I have had an update from the work area that it has been referred to, however the update was simply that they are still reviewing the good." I remember an old desk calendar quote: "If you have nothing to say, than make sure you say it vaguely." I have been dealing with DHL's Customs Support, which I regret to report perpetually passes the buck. Furthermore, the set-up at DHL is rather bizarre as my artifact is in Melbourne, but I have to deal with DHL in Brisbane and Sydney, and Border Force Customs Compliance seems based in W.A. Border Force seemingly only allows communication by email, and given the different time zones, exchange of information can take 2-3 days. This is banana republic stuff.
