Dick smith charged me twice but only sent one item and will not reply
I bought a refurbished iPad from dick smith but they charged me twice and will not respond to my emails. Nothing wrong with the iPad but I want my money back, I see so many reviews on here of them sending shonky items or not at all, how ridiculous, how is this company still trading? I will definitely not be recommending its been weeks very unprofessional. Will be sharing this and these reviews with as many people as I can
Dicksmiths no more, no Kogan and your warranty means zip!
I bought a S8 for $900 from Dicksmiths online store. Upon first use, I noticed the front camera would blur photos and had lots of black dots on it that would come out on photos. I tried all online advice to fix it but didn't get anywhere with it.
I contacted Dicksmith's about it but before I got around to shipping it I had cracked the screen.
Although I had proof that the camera issue was before the cracking, they refused to service it under warranty unless I paid their $400 fee to fix my screen. Despite the fact, my phone was faulty from the ...get go and they should have just offered me a replacement. It was at this point I was made aware that my phone was an international model, so no one else would touch it either as no one had the parts. Looking at the listing, the note about it being international was part of a banner that looked like a ad so wasn't obvious and I don't recall it being in the fine print as I wouldn't have bought an international model. Hindsight! I send to many emails to Dicksmiths - emails as they don't advertise any phone number so good luck speaking to someone - and in the end gave up when they refused to fix it under warranty unless i paid the $400. This is a valuable lesson and I will NEVER buy a product from Dicksmith *cough* Kogan again.

Kogan Can't trust them!! and terrible customer service
I have purchased an IPhone 6 and it has been a couple day since my delivery has been dispatch and currently my delivery is still untraceable, moreover, upon further investigation the parent company "Brus Australia Pty Ltd" has proven to have multiple attempt of non-delivery promise according to numerous customers review from this and other site, in addition to this I have reported this incident to ACCC.

Refurbished iPhone 7 A grade
I paid $360....it arrived in about a week. It is very good condition and working fine. Like another reviewer I checked reviews after purchasing and was a little disturbed but there are no issues so far.
Terrible!!! Avoid at all cost
I dont think I have ever experienced as bad customer service as this. Starting from product description, postage and packaging, product delivered and customer service post purchase - issues on every single step!! Their website descriptions and promises are simply dishonest - I will be lodging an official complaint with relevant government authorities as something needs to be done to protect others from falling into their traps!!! Nightmare!
Unbelievable Poor customer service
I brough an Iphone 8 plus which looks great however I received a phone call the next day telling me the item was not available and offering me an iphone 8 with a $50 dollar refund which I declined. After 30 days of declining still waiting for my refund to be processed. Unable to contact customer support or to request to be called back.
Kogan Laptop broken and online customer service is impossible
Bought kogan 2 in 1 note book. After a few months in on/off button became permanently pressed in so cannot be operated. Tried to use the online account dashboard to return the product. Filled in the question field and attached photos,but when you click on submit, absolutely nothing happens. Impossible to get in touch with them. They have no telephone line to call!!!
inoperable within a year and no customer support
Bought a refurbished Iphone SE - played up from the day it arrived and had poor battery health - in under a year it is now not working at all - tried to apply to get it repaired under warranty but unable to get through to the online dept - the screen just leads you in circles in the hope you will give up and phone line is no longer available
Very bad customer service never ever buy from them. Bought iPhone 7 and after 27 emails I took phone to Apple shop to get a new battery and was told products are over 3 years old and out of warranty. Wanted me to send product to Melbourne and I live in Sydney an wait 3-4 weeks for replacement. Got a new battery from Apple shop and waited 2hrs they promise warranty but through their resellers in Melbourne

Ordered an iPad, didnt receive a tracking number after 2 weeks so logged in to see its marked as Refund requested! I never requested a refund at all! No ipad received and no money refunded!!

Bed frame snapped in two places 1 month after purchase and ZERO customer Service to Return under Warranty :(
Purchased a king single bed frame for our spare room and less than two months later the bed slats, made of cheap pine snapped in two places! The bolts provided were too short and had to be screwed in several times to tighten after the first assembly. As this item is under warranty, I followed instructions via help desk and included photos of damaged item and am yet to receive any sort of response. Have messaged again requesting a phone call, but this business is 100% online so I have no reply to date. I've had to purchase a new bed in the interim and have no resolution. Bad form. Now reading the reviews I get why! My email #7632496 remains unanswered, please someone contact me to get this nightmare sorted!
Non existent customer service. There needs to be an option for zero stars.
Ordered a phone which the website stated was in stock and would be delivered in 3days. They lied, took my money immediately and two days later emailed to say it wasn't in stock and would not be dispatched for another 10 days. I responded (by the unbelievably ineffective form process) to ask how I might discuss changing the order or cancelling. I sent this through several options on the 'submit a question' section. No response
Eventually an email arrived stating my ord...er had been cancelled! By which time I'd tracked down the vendor with no help from Duck Smith, so I rang them to make sure I was actually going to get what I ordered. They said there was no way the (amended 10 day) dispatch dates likely. I still have no phone, and no idea whether, or even if, one will arrive. And, even though I've found someone else who can guarantee that the same phone (but cheaper) will be here next day, I can't order it because Duck still hasn't told me what's happening. It's clear that they will charge for items they don't have in stock to stop you buying from someone else. Utterly incompetent and possibly criminal. Avoid at all costs.

Not happy with the customer service
I ordered a bike rack for the car which couldn't be safely installed. When I explained this to the customer service they showed no support. So I had to pay for postage when returning the item AND had to pay a service fee for "CHANGE OF MIND" which clearly wasn't the case. Would never purchase anything from them again.
Terrible customer service avoid at all costs
Do not buy from dick smith. The worst service I have ever experienced. I made the mistake of purchasing an item from them. The item did arrive but was not as advertised, after weeks of back and forward emails. they finally provided a return address and said they would provide a refund . Another three weeks went by and still no refund. Ended up having to contact the credit card company to get a refund.
Worst Return Process
Dick Smith by far has one of the worst return process. The make it as painful as they can for the customer.
Ordered a bag which when arrived was much larger as it seemed in the pictures. Tried to return the bag within hours of the delivery. There is no call centre that you can call so had to email them with the pictures. They responded the next day saying they cant refund the amount back in my bank account. Wow are Dick Smith the worst online retailer in Australia?
Appalling. After ordering they waited 3 days to dispatch. Tracking number never worked. After 2 more weeks they didn't respond to requests to fix tracking or deliver product. Raised a dispute in PayPal they waited 2 days then issued a refund which I have to wait 3-5 days for. No reply no explanation no apology. They are the absolute worst. Don't buy from these morons they are in competition with Amazon for the worst online retailer and they might be in the lead!

Terrible. Ordered a phone online and was told it would take 1-2weeks for delivery. However, it has been almost 3 weeks and the only update I received was when I specifically requested one from customer service, or there would have been no indication of what had happened to my order. There is no phone number to contact customer service and email correspondent is remarkably slow making it a hassle to contact them in the first place.
The agent had mentioned that the warehouse is out of stock and would take a few more days to deliver. Firstly, the...re was no sign of the product being out of stock on the webpage. Secondly, only a vague statement of the delivery time was provided with he/she giving an unclear "approximately 2 more days before stock is in" statement, despite having a very efficient processing of payment. Thirdly, even after awaiting the specified days there was still no delivery and no email to clarify my situation! The prices on the website may seem too good to be true, and they sometimes are. Their emails are a predetermined script with them saying "apologies", they are "doing their best" and raised the issue to "senior management to resolve your issue". While I am unable to confirm the validity of their statement, I have also been unable to assess the credibility of it due to the lack of communication. Therefore, shop with caution as after reading the other reviews, there is a chance of you not receiving the item that you had paid for.

There is no phone number OR email mate, you can only log a help desk problem and wait for them to respond its a joke!! They double charged me for an item weeks ago and still havent sorted out nor will they write back to my emails!!
