Do NOT buy anything from DinoDirect if you value your time and money – I purchased a dash cam from DinoDirect online on the 10th December and they failed to send it. In March I was told to give it a few more days as the stock was on back order. On April 4th I managed to get through to them on online chat (I cannot chat with them again now as my membership status is too low but I refuse to pay more for that… Read more

privilege). I was told that the refund would take around 10-20 business days. In the last two weeks, I have sent messages to their online case system and emailed them and have not received a reply.

Long wait – I am on customer support live chat. There is according to the screen 1 in the queue. I have left the site on for 3 days now and still waiting. Do not tell me that is "be with you shortly" But then I have been waiting since October for delivery. How patient does one have to be .

Dealing with Chinese online business is totally frustrating.

This is my third negative event.

I'm going back to 'in-store' buying.

10/10/2016 and now, still waiting, 6/09/2017.

NO Problems with this company – I personally didn't have any problems with them. I always received my goods on time and never once had anything lost. I did have one parcel that took quite some time to arrive, but in saying that I have ordered quite a few things and with only one problem I think that is pretty good. Got everything on time and correct one late parcel, but they were on to it straight away once I emailed them.

the money as their site is missleading and deceiving the customers who purchese products off there site, not to mention that this watch could explode and cause personal injury or fire.

There response was to give me a good discount on the next product i buy.

No thanks as the saying goes once bitten twice shy.

Buyer beware as this site is not only deceptive but the products purchased off there come with watever waranty they want to give you.

could not be delivered to a PO BOX needed a physical address and they had tried contacting me. I had no Emails or phone calls from them.

I asked for a refund, they said they would give me discount to ship, I asked again for a refund. They said discount again - Asked how much they said $8. Once again asked for refund.

Turns out they then shipped the item to me TO MY PO BOX!!! (Which they were unable to do apparently). Have once again asked for a REFUND and return. Completely terrible service.

I also buy a lot from dx.com and had an issue with an item I purchased there recently - Once returned they VERY quickly provided a replacement and refunded my shipping money. Can purchase from them with confidence unlike dino direct :( Its a shame as dino have some good products, just not backed up by good customer service.

Good cheap junk seller – I've purchased quite a few bits and bobs from this supplier over the years. LED lights, batteries, torches, PS3 controllers... usual assortment of electronic junk. I would not use them to buy expensive items, nor would I purchase expensive items from any other mega overseas reseller. You get what you pay for. It's not rocket science folks.

If you can't afford to throw it in the bin don't buy off the slow boat from China, your local store needs you too.

Perfect example of what not to buy! – Almost unusable. Why? Because there is no operating instructions, the maker does not answer emails, the supplier (Dino Direct) cannot supply an operating book. The phone itself appears OK but without a book the features cannot be accessed.

this down to the charge having run out, and as I said before I had no way to charge it pre use as the charger is for a different country. However when I got home I looked and could see the battery pack case was bulging and when I opened it the battery was completely burst and in pieces in the bag.

I had already contacted this company regarding the wrong adapter being sent and they had told me to go buy the right one and tell them how much it was. Unreal! Why not just send me the correct one in the first place??

I have thrown this shoddily made piece of tat in the bin and will be buying something from a reputable website next time.

My opinion is that if you want to waste your time and money then go to dinodirect, however if you value your hard earned cash and sanity stay away.

Avoid, avoid. I repeat, avoid these scammers – No despatch of items. Stories change from 'carefully checking your order' to 'item out of stock' to ' we very busy.' It's all lies. Rip off site. Items paid, money taken but not despatched. Computer generated customer service replies. Thieves. Nothing more, nothing less. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

Disgraceful service! – I have a receipt for an item from DinoDirect dated 4th Jan 2015 and it is now 02/03/15 and still no sign of the item! Their complaint system is ridiculous and clearly designed to divert you from a result and their customer service in non existent. Whatever you do - don't buy anything from them and tell your friends too.

Don't buy anything from them!!!!! – I bought a 2 camera crash cam from them. They double dipped on my credit card and when I asked them about it they only wanted me to buy more, not refund the extra money as they should have. The camera worked but its default mode is Chinese. When you and if you are able to set it to English (most common language in the world by most countries) once it power downs and is restarted it goes back to Chinese or Russian. Biggest waste of money!!!!

Tailor made cocktail dress – I sent in my measurements and had a cocktail dress made for A$120 and it arrived oversized unproportionally made and colour was not what I chose. It was gaudy darker than the colour that was shown in the picture. I could not get anyone to help me at all. Do not deal with them!! They ignored my trying to get in touch with them. take another week. THis would push the time outside of the Paypal resolution process, which means that you have lost your money.

I lodged a complaint with paypal, and this is being resolved as we speak.

They now say another 2 weeks, and that I should remove my complaint with paypal. nope.

They also said my package was stolen from my mailbox... nope, sent to a parcel locker... LOL

DONT BUY FROM THEM - simple

The good haven't arrived, and I wished i read the reviews before buying from them.

Horrible outcome, money and time lost. Appalling condescending customer service, and still no sign of product.

If the delivered item fails the chance of getting a refund appears to be very poor. The specs were good and the price reasonable, it was a mid range tablet It failed after about 90 minutes use.

nothing more. They will take your money and not give a thing in return. If you do choose to throw your money away, make sure you do it through paypal and if you haven't recieved your item within 20 days LODGE A DISPUTE and FIGHT IT. It will be the only way you'll ever see your money again.

not want to reselect and asked if and when it would be restocked, they did not respond, 3 days later I received the very jumper that I was asked only days earlier to reselect on, how Hilarious. Also I ordered an XL size and received possibly a small to medium sized jumper, not to mention the quality was not as good as the advertised photo. It was as though the jumper was a knock off piece or imitation to the real thing.

I am absolutely wondering where is the organisation in such a large online company?

Nearly 2 years on and I have not received 2 of the other jumpers I ordered. I tried to chase it up before, but the process was so ridiculously slow why bother.

Just know that if anyone is considering buying from Dino Direct Note that more than likely you may encounter poor quality service whether it be a poorer quality product, lack of communication, OR NO product at all. Disgraceful and bad customer service – I bought a cat carrier from them about 6-7weeks ago and even got DSL for express deliver, but I'm still waiting my order! I already asked their customer service and she said it takes about 2 weeks to prepare and deliver it. their service is absolutely disgraceful. they didn't give me DSL deliver number, e-mail, anything! never use them. I'm sure they will disappoint you.

and now a simular thing has happened. Its been over a month and no item. The tracking number was invalid so I couldnt track it. So I contacted them and they said that the item was returned back to them by customs and now they will resent the item to me and have a new tracking number in 3 days. What! I waited well over a month and now I have to wait 3 more days before they send it and provide a new tracking number? Oh, and it will then take around 25 days to get to me. Great!! So, I asked for a refund. No, they cant do that because its already been sent to me. But hang on, I thought they said it will be processed for shipping in 3 days? Cheaters – Warning to all Australian, do not purchase any thing from this company, they are dishonest, and cheat, nearly one year now and did not recieve rest of my order, and not only this but i recieved a jacket which s faulty and the other one they cut the tag that s sawed at the back of the collar and instead they hang a card with different size around the button, i ordered XL and the sent XS.
