I will never recommend Hawaiian airlines to any one. They are bunch of thieves. Rude staff and irresponsible management. They shamelessly still your baggage and instead of compensating they never pickup phone. Worst airlines in the world. There is no minus rating so I have to give 1 star to these thives Show details

In short, avoid at all cost... Basically you better click at all the t&c because there are stupid clauses that do not make sense. Also they are not in aust even with a .com.au as I can't liaise until 8pm often.

just keep on waiting. I have had 30 minutes of waiting time to talk to someone and finally I had to hangup. i tried emailing them aswell, but no reply there either. As you can in the image I have tried all of there contact numbers.

charging some service fee of $155 per person. That’s a whopping $465 for 3 of us who were supposed to travel to the US in May 2020!!! This is such a ridiculous charge by Direct Flights and they are trying to loot the customers during such times.

They seem to be fraudsters trying to rip off the customers. I have lodged an official complaint with NSW Fair Trading and will definitely seek to file a legal complaint if I don’t get my full money back.

money these days! I have spoke with Malaysian airlines directly and got help from them with my itinerary free of charge and without any service fee! Direct flight kept on sent me messages about cancelling is the only option and when it is urgent that I need to travel at the end of the year! They do not understand customers, only care about getting their service fee! Will not book again with these money minded people! not customer focused! I recommend you go online and check your itinerary or check with the AIRLINE before you pay any fees to Direct Flights because these people LIE ! AND once you pay, you cant get your money back!

an obviously tough time for travel. We did become impatient and almost gave up when out of the blue we received an email to say that our refund was coming through and it arrived in our account a couple of days later. Hang in there if you’re waiting for a refund, it should come! Thank you to Direct Flights for staying true to your word.

Good price. Straight forward – Booked a trip to Canada with them. Their search engine found a better price than other sites. Booked with them with the the backup of credit card security. The booking correctly showed up on the Air Canada site without delay, and the agency contacted me promptly re documentation. Did not need to make changes, so I cannot comment on that.  Show details

accounts person who had poor English said we would get a callback, never happened The only good outcome was that we knew the Flight details so we took a gamble and called Emirates who were fabulous, They took the time to find our flights and send copies to my wife who can now sleep! The only thing Direct Flights focus on is getting your money. After being paid, you don't exist. My strong advice is to book directly with the Airlines or if you can find one, a reputable wholesaler and READ the T&Cs,s (ironically, the airlines we were to fly with do have reasonable refund policies for medical flight cancellations (we told Direct Flight we could provide proof that my wife has been diagnosed with Recurrent Ovarian Cancer and needed treatment when we were planning to travel). Direct Flight told us that their T&Cs superseded the Airline Policy and they do not provide refunds based on Medical reasons for not being able to fly. Our advice is to thoroughly check the T&Cs of Flight REsellers like Direct Flight who have specifically removed the opportunity to receive a refund based on what is a proven and ongoing medical emergency.

sent through in December 2022. So for 7-8 months DF had use of our money and deceitfully hid the fact that our refund was able to be processed. When we informed them we actually had the refund number then all they said was that they would "process" our refund. (No mention of hiding the refund from us). Of course no refund received. We took affirmative action and got in touch with Fair Trading in the state that DF was registered in and finally after some further threats of action we were prepared to take got our money back LESS $1,000 (our tickets came to nearly $12,000) for "SERVICE FEES". We will never, ever go near DF again; in our humble opinion such fraudulent behaviour should be rewarded by deregistration and possibly prosecution. So, if you are in the same position as we were, start with Fair Trading and work up from there. No good just asking DF, they are enjoying the benefit of YOUR money.

Thankfully I am able to get my problems solved through webjet agents. That is why I hardly book directly from flight centers that are cheap which I usually do. This agent not only resolve the horrendous experience I had with the frequent cancellation of the flight, but they have been professionally tactly and helpful in the same time. flights the refund had to go through Direct Flights. Direct flight took more than 4-5 months for processing the refund after it was processed by Malaysia airlines and on top of this terrible service they deducted around $250-$300 in the name of cancellation fee even when Malaysia airlines provided the full refund and there was no effort made by direct flights for this refund. They stopped responding to my emails when I requested for the rest of the amount to be refunded.

Stay away from them as they are one of the pathetic agents to deal with where customer service does not exist.

Never expect a refund your money isn't protected – I am a travel agent myself and I'm quite disgusted at the fact that this company receives refunds and holds them for their own use. My own mother as well as a very close friend booked through them and both had to go to extreme lengths to get refunds. My friends refund is still pending from a flight that was booked 3 years ago. fly. I directly booked our tickets with Singapore airline. My refund request was submitted on March 2022. I was informed to wait atleast 14 weeks to process this. Now it is over 32 weeks (8 months). Whenever I checked about the refund status they said they escalated this to their internal teams. They keep on saying this for the last 4 months (from July 2022). I still couldn’t get update on when I will receive my refund and what is the status of my refund application.

perfect. BUT their service was so bad and half handed. THEY GAVE HIM AN INCOMPLETE ITINERARY!! They only sent him half the information. When he went to check-in on the day of departure, He was told at the check-in counter that there was a touchdown in Australia which he had absolutely no clue about! They required a Visa for the touchdown. Despite the agency being aware of the touchdown, it wasn't mentioned on the (incomplete) itinerary provided nor was he informed by the agency. He was unable to board the FLIGHT FOR OUR WEDDING! Since it was amidst COVID he couldn't even get another last minute ticket. Devasted, he called Direct Flights from the airport itself and they refused to take responsibility for it!! Neither did they book him another flight!! We had to postpone the wedding and had to notify all the guests and event planners. We Lost double the amount of money!! It's been 11 months since, AND GUESS WHAT, PUTTING ASIDE THE LOSS WE ENDURED WITH PUSHING FORWARD THE WEDDING AND THE PARTIES, DIRECT FLIGHTS DID NOT EVEN REFUND HIS TICKET EXPENSES!! they said that the processing fee for new flights would incur a cost of over $352pp (ie $704 total), more than double that of the original refund fee. They didn't tell us this originally and if we had known, we would have obviously gotten the refund. But now it's 2022 and we can no longer get a refund and our only option is to book new flights or let the credits lapse when they expire Dec 2022. However, to get those new flights, we would pretty much be paying nearly 1/2 of the original amount of money spent in 2019 as processing fee costs which is ABSURD. We've tried to dispute this for nearly 3-4 months, going back and forth via email and on the phone. At one point on the phone, someone said that we could get a refund but then a few days later we were emailed saying that was no longer the case.

Would NEVER use this service again and will pray for any poor soul that does.

Absolutely disgusting – Horrible HORRIBLE customer service. We booked a trip to the UK with them and was very reasonably priced - for a reason. We changed our flights on return 5 days in advance, only to arrive at the airport and for the airline to tell us no ticket had been issued. $3000 in change fees later, after direct flights issued an order for us to deal directly with the airline as it became just 'too hard' for them.
