Double carport & single carport – Happy with our two carports Was a long process but at no fault of company it was council giving us trouble for permits we live in regional vic when I rang for first contact Gary didn’t even say we live a bit far he said he would be out the next day the two guys that came to install were great even they lived a further 3 hrs or so away from us so would recommend this company to anyone

I'm happy with my verandah,there was a problem which I didn't even noticed it but the installer guy very honest and he came and fixed it.I'm not happy with Stratco delivery because they left the materials on the street infront of the first unit,didn't notify me or my son Darren.

Awesome to deal with and their work is impeccable – Talk about an easy company to deal with, that go above and beyond to make your idea come to life! Wouldn't say perfect – Was not happy at all. Had two young fellas come out to install, had a heap of smoke butts left around my property a hole in the eve that's not meant to be there, and it leaks. Would of thought it would of had a final inspection by someone. And l get this review request months after its finished. I also paid an electrical guy to come out and remove… Read more

nailing down a draft plan, including profile and colours, and providing a competitive all-up price (the fourth quote received from competitors). Michael, Discounted Patios director, came to discuss with us the project in more detail and measured up the final design plan. From thereon, the company provided information of the ‘next steps’ stages of our project and took the hassle out of taking the architectural plan and building permit application (via an independent building surveyor) through local council. Marie, Discounted Patios permits manager, would regularly give us progress updates by email, such as materials scheduling, expected delivery, and job start date – all awhile keeping us ‘in the loop’, without us stressing and guessing about what stage the builder was at with our project (we were also mindful of the high number of builders going into liquidation at this time). Discounted Patios were professional and true to their word and provided quality workmanship by Ivan and his offsider over two days, including the guttering and plumbing connections into a storm water drain and rainwater tank. From the signing of the contract to final inspection and issue of ‘Certificate of Final Inspection’ by an independent building inspector, it took Discounted Patios just over six weeks to complete the steel verandah structure; much quicker than quoted by the other three contractors. A friend and I did the rest to complete the verandah, with concreting and extending an existing floor with extra slate tiles, adding an aluminum slat panel feature wall at one end (to hide the rainwater tank), a local specialist installed the twin automated outdoor mesh blinds, and an electrician put in extra lighting to complete the job. Overall, our DIY project took four months to complete. We are happy and proud of our new verandah. We have upgraded our outdoor living lifestyle and improved the value of our home in which Discounted Patios were a significant team player.
Changed time and poor communication – Was supposed to come on a certain day and they changed two days before saying that they finished late two days prior. They were supposed to get a quote for the roller door in addition, but had forgotten to do so.
Excellent company a.nd finished product – I highly recommend Discount Patios we are extremely happy with finished product. Very professional from giving the quote, obtaining the building permits etc. All of the staff from the owner to the ladies in the office and the construction crew were excellent. Kept me updated all of the time with progress reports which is pretty rare these days. The finished product is even better.
Love it! – Very happy with our pergola. It has transformed our existing alfresco into an amazing outdoor space. Love the louvered roof. Smooth process from start to finish.
