Dodo NBN is highly regarded for its affordability, proactive communication regarding plan savings, and efficient customer support. While occasional dropouts are mentioned, the overall experience is defined by reliable speeds and a hassle-free switching process.
The worst company . They are charging overdue payment fees for the month, also the service for The for the month is not rendered also that Customer Service ignorant, sir, ignorant, employees,
I have been with dodo from day 1 back when it was just standard internet. A few years later I had my phone (landline) changed over to dodo as a bundle package. Recently I had my mobile switched to dodo 0n the $40 / 80 gb plane. I don't think there is any other supplier that can match price service or support. Thank you dodo.
I’ve just been informed my NBN500 plan has been changed to the NBN25 plan. Not only is the plan slower but it costs an extra $10 a month because I was still on the promotion discount for the first 6 months. I contacted support and they said they sent an email in July saying they’ll move me to the slower plan unless I opt out. Excuse me, this… Read more
should be optional, we shouldn’t have to opt out of being moved to an inferior and more expensive plan.
The subject of the email was “Do you want to save $19 per month on your internet?” Of course I’m not opening that rubbish, I already know the price on the NBN 500 plan I had was competitive. Dodo sends so much junk mail that you can’t unsubscribe from so I didn’t both opening it.
Worst of all I can’t change the plan back until my next billing cycle, since it got changed already in the current billing cycle, which I did not do in ten first place!
This is ridiculous and I’ve already churned to another provider.

I love DODO. I used to be with other provider for 6 years, but their internet line keep dropping especially when there is rain or wind. I finally decided to move to DODO, and they never disapoint me. I will continue using their service.
- +1

I regularly edit, export and upload large video files, and Dodo’s fast, reliable connection keeps everything moving smoothly. I spend less time waiting and more time creating—which is incredibly valuable when working to deadlines.
The MyDodo app is another great feature. It makes monitoring my service and keeping track of payments quick and straightforward, with everything conveniently available in one place.
Whenever I’ve needed assistance, Dodo’s staff have been quick to help, easy to communicate with and genuinely pleasant over the phone. Reliable internet, excellent value, a handy app and helpful customer service—after a year, I’m still a very happy Dodo customer.
Simple & effective, connected within one day, BYO modem issues resolved easily over the phone, great service. What more could you want with super-fast broadband at excellent value for money?
I have been with Dodo NBN for many years and have been very happy with the service and kept well informed when issues arose. I recently updated to FTTP and the 500/48 service and this was well and quickly arranged over the phone. I would recommend Dodo NBN for sure.
Dodo has been a great and affordable service, they have helped with any issue that arises fast and effectively. I have been with Dodo since 2020 when I was 17 living out of home and they have helped accommodate when I wasn’t able to pay a bill on time. Which was a life saver!! Have recommended Dodo to anyone looking!
Great value, reliable service and a smooth switch We recently switched our home internet from Telstra to Dodo and have been very happy with the decision. The changeover was straightforward, the service was connected without any major problems, and our internet speeds have been consistently strong. We regularly have several devices connected for… Read more
streaming, browsing and everyday use, and the connection has remained stable and reliable. Most importantly, we’re receiving a quality service at a much more competitive price.
Dodo may not have the enormous advertising presence of some of the larger providers, but it delivers where it matters: dependable internet, good speeds and genuine value for money. Based on our experience so far, we would happily recommend Dodo to anyone considering changing internet providers.
Sometimes the dodo isn’t extinct—it’s just quietly providing better-value internet!
I’ve had a positive experience with Dodo, their support team is there usually when I need them.
I mean, excellent service, never let me down with performance.on air.
The ping times are always less than 5 ms and I always get more than 750 Mb/s download speed. I am more than happy with the service.

Excellent internet works great for streaming videos and playing games and earning money mining bitcoin
Dodo Internet is amazing...they upgraded me to fibre for free, and my mid range service gives me speeds above what I'm paying for. I purchased a 25/5 MBit plan...and you can see the results for yourself...that upload speed is areal bonus with my wifi security cameras. Also took their offer of 4 months at 50% off... WINNING!
Got my Dodo for a month and Im very satisfied with the connection.
I thought that getting the lowest speed it would interfere with the internet, pleasant surprise it's great.
Was with Dodo for a few months when an offer was made for NBN connection free of charge. Was unsure but took it up. Technician came out and connected from the kerb to house no problems but needed cabling inside house. I supplied my own electrician to run cabling so it still cost me almost 1K but there was a lot of cable and mucking around. Glad… Read more
I had it done. Speed tests for my Wifi have gone from 42.9mps to 546mps. And they even lowered my monthly costs for 6 months.
I was with Origin and was utterly furious with the speed, price and service, so I changed. I hate life administration so it takes a lot for me to get angry enough to change providers however I am so glad i did! It was so easy - I was connected to Dodo and had everything up and running within around 20mins. I have the exact same plan, around $40pm cheaper, with the actual speeds as promised. From 2.5mbps to 110mbps! So far so good thanks Dodo!

Have been using Dodo for over 20 years! Sais it all. GOOD
Follow-up · Dodo have a reliable internet system. Has been very rare I have had an experience of a negative type
My connection was so simple to have connection when changing providers. I always had someone available to me if I wasn’t sure and when it was connected it was like nothing had happened. Simple smooth process and I know I have a really good bundle deal with my mobile also now included. My dodo plan has saved me over $50 a month
Follow-up · Speeds have been unnoticeable as they have been so good, no dropouts unlike my previous provider and the support team have been prompt
My internet drops out all the time which makes my tv lag and is very slow to come back when your on the phone it cuts out as the internet has dropped out
Follow-up · Yes it is still slow and dropping out it also has to be reset numerous amounts of times by Turing the modem off and then back on and letting it reset .it would have to be reset at least every two weeks and the lagging happens at least two or three times per week. Not only dose it affect my tv it also affects my phone when I have it connected to the home internet

In-depth reviews
i am disappointed that it keeps going up Do Do is one of the cheaper (Just) providers but like all corporations they get greedier the more they make. Now they will take another $10 if you are 3 days late so its always the people trying to get by and elderly & disabled who suffer the most i have a phone service it started at $5 4 weeks later it… Read more
doubled to $10 adding a few gigabytes with the plan , then it added another $8 (almost doubled again) then in months it increased another $2 now it is $20 4times more IT IS value if you use it for a phone /pc and calls/txts but i have no gigs its not connected to the PC i asked them to disconnect because i get bad reception and many of my calls drop out so i am forced to walk further down the street to be able to make a call having a phone box which is free to make calls just at the end of the street , only a few calls are made daily. Some people see no problem with how expensive Australia has become because either they don't have to pay the bills, they can afford it, or they have no other Australia to compare it too There is a lot of corporate greed and people keep feeding the beast because they don't have other choices , the customer doesn't count its like they are treated like consumers only. Australia, being a so called first world country has one of the worst internet speeds and pricing in the world ,they have only thought about the age group from 16-40 who basically grew up on a pc and phone corporations /people who make decisions forget about the older generations who want a phone and nothing more , most older people are computer illiterate so if anything goes wrong with the computer side of it they have to pay to find out what they are doing wrong instead of just being able to use a phone ,which is always something simple to fix, with an outrageous price tag. if dodo had a plan for the elderly /disabled or just for phone calls / txts for $10 a month that would make them stand out above the rest. They got great reviews when they had the $5 a month calls , they wouldn't have to upgrade the cards turning off internet access for those only wanting phone service or if they want the internet leave it as is, doing this will show they care for their customers. or as cynical as i sound are just there to profit not to allow you to breath a little easier when all your bills time come . Time will tell. i wont hold my breath but you never know if you don't try PS i want to reiterate that it is worth $20 for the internet and calls/texts i would give it 5+ stars if they could make plans for pensioners/disability that would help people a lot
Internet service is reliable, efficient enough for a standard household. In fact not sure why we keep paying more tbh. Pricing could definitely be on the DOWNSIDE instead of increasing for NO EXTRA SERVICES AT ALL, NOT even a NEW router, wifi extender, or even a THANK YOU FOR YOUR COMMITMENT TO OUR SERVICES letter, nothing....! how many People in this country pay fees for line services/maintenance etc THAT FEE MUST BE COMING DOWN BY NOW..! thats gotta be millions/billions/trillions into "that service fee" AND TO TOP THAT OFF the possibility many of the staff members that push buttons and answer calls DO NOT even LIVE here in Aussie and live In Another Country, taking their wage they earnt from customer service to the Australia community off shore NOT even supporting our country, where they work and to top that off probably pay bugger all all tax too. So I WOULD APPRECIATE THE FEES CHARGED TO ACTUALLY REFLECT THE SERVICE BEING PROVIDED and bring the call service jobs BACK TO OUR SOIL where we speak bloody good english, love a yarn with our mates and a good laugh too and we have less frustration due to language barrier
The best NBN is the one you stop thinking about A few months ago, I switched to Dodo after getting tired of inconsistent speeds with my previous provider, particularly in the evenings when everyone was online. At that point, I wasn't looking for anything fancy. I just wanted my internet to work when I needed it. A big part of that was gaming on… Read more
my PS5. Online gaming had become genuinely frustrating with my previous provider, especially during peak hours. Lag, inconsistent connection and the feeling that I couldn't rely on my connection when I wanted to play were probably my biggest reasons for finally making the switch.
And that's exactly what I've experienced with Dodo.
The connection has been consistently stable, even during busy evening hours. My PS5 online experience has been much smoother and, most importantly, predictable. The setup was straightforward, the modem arrived when promised, and activation happened on schedule. No complicated process, no unnecessary waiting around.
I also had a billing question and expected the usual long wait and being passed from one person to another. Instead, customer support answered within a few minutes and resolved the issue on the first call.
The monthly bill has also been exactly what I expected, with no surprises.
What I appreciate most is that I no longer think about my internet. It just works.
After being frustrated with unreliable service, that might sound like a small thing, but it has made a genuine difference to our household.
Sometimes the best upgrade isn't faster internet. It's simply having internet you can rely on.

Dodo changed my plan from 500/48 to 25/10 without my authority. I only found that out when they sent me an email confirming the change. For weeks I was wondering why my video conferencing was so poor in quality and pausing frequently. That's when I called them today and was told that they wanted to save money for me as I'm not a heavy user. … Read more
Duh! I'm paying more for my own requirements. What gave you the right to decide for me? Ridiculous!!! The cost difference is only $20/mth more. So what!
When it works, it works OK with a weak signal. Has a tendency to drop out frequently, possibility of modem not strong enough to send a strong signal because it enters the house to weak. There is regular maintenance BUT have seen no improvement in over 12 months
Found out yesterday afternoon that my subscription to the 500/48 service had been terminated 2 weeks earlier, after Dodo switched me to 25/5 service without my consent (I missed the email notification on 16/8 alerting me that the switch had occurred - no other communication was received). I'd wasted significant time rebooting modems etc trying… Read more
to rectify the speed loss issue, then more than 1/2 hour on the phone, before the service technician identified what the problem was (i.e. that I'd been switched by an automated process to a slower service due to my data usage). Lodged a formal complaint yesterday, which today was closed without any contact or attempt to address the issue raised, on the basis I'd closed the account. I wonder how many others have been affected similarly - I know of at least one other.
Do not go with Dodo. It has been 4 weeks and many frustrating phone calls, and we still have not been able to transfer this account from my dad (passed away) to my mum who relies on this service for her safety. This is disgusting and an example of the very worst service during a challenging time of grief. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER, DODO THIS IS APPALLING!
Good price but bad internet coverage connection for house it's mentioned to cover range of large house but I have only small house and short range and I have bad internet coverage at back of house
