Customer service in this company is below average. While corresponding via email with the customer service team I was given different answers every time they will avoid return or exchange of items using any excuse under the sun.

nearly useless. I was willing to eat the cost, since our dog doesn't pull much anyway and it does look kinda nice with her name right on the harness, but the material is a rather thin nylon web type material which has started to fray all over the harness leaving stringy pieces hanging off all over the place.
Definately not a high quality item and not useful for stopping a dog from pulling...at all. Would ask for a return/refund if able. I bought the full kit which of course provides a discount over individually purchased items. The harness is the only thing really falling apart and not working as promised. Their policy is to charge you full price for any items not returned if you bought a kit. So...the overall price would be more then what I originally paid anyway. Oh well...lesson learned.

is perfect—super easy to put on and take off, and it doesn’t cause any tangling or discomfort.
The bungee leash is also a game changer. It gives me full control while absorbing sudden pulls, which makes walks smoother and way more enjoyable for both of us. You can tell everything is thoughtfully designed with dogs and owners in mind. Highly recommend!

Excellent product! – I bought this harness about two weeks ago. It was delivered within 7 days. Charlie has been wearing it for a week now. It's very easy to put on. I bought the leashes and harnesses for my pups, they work absolutely fantastic! I have a large breed 130lb dog who pulls like crazy. Less than 5 mins with the harness with front D ring, and he’s walking so politely next to me!

arrived, only one of the three items was delivered. I contacted customer service and, to their credit, they responded quickly and sent out the remaining items.
Unfortunately, the bed itself was disappointing. After being left open for over 24 hours, it never fully inflated. The foam remained twisted from vacuum packing, the middle section was very thin, and it didn’t resemble the plush bed shown in the product photos.
I requested a return five days ago but didn’t receive a response. I then tried to submit a return through the online portal, which was declined with a note saying further details would be emailed. After hearing nothing, I reached out via live chat and was told about the 60-day guarantee and encouraged to “give it time.” I clearly stated—both by email and live chat—that I wanted to proceed with a return immediately. Communication then stopped.
Overall, the experience started well but became frustrating once a return was requested. While the company promotes easy returns, the process felt drawn out and unresolved when all I was asking for was a return authorisation.
Follow-up · Just a follow up, the team eventually responded and provided me a refund. They didn't want the item returned which was interesting. Since my dog didn't use the bed at all, we posted it for free in our local community and someone else picked it up.

product buy, they make it a really difficult process! Firstly, they asked us to send multiple photographs of the harness to show the issue. (i also sent a video!) Once we sent all the photos, they asked for more photos of harness, not on. Then they explained that if the labels are custom with the dog's name, these tags cannot be sent back and the original Dog Friendly Co tags must be reattached! (nice to know after i have thrown them out!) I know it was a few weeks after bought the harness, so i guess they make it difficult so you get frustrated! So i went and bought one from their competitor which is great, lightweight, and has a magnetic clip on the outside of the harness! Very clever! return label was attached to the email. I have followed up each day since then via email but have not received a response. 08/01/2026: I've now messaged via facebook messenger and the website's chat function. Only now has someone via the website's chat function has responded to my requests advising that it will take 24 business hours before the return label is sent to me via email. They also subsequently responded on FB messenger with the same response. I have yet to receive the return label so we'll see how long that will take to be sent through to me.

As a senior doggo Angus has some issues with his larynx. Hooking a leash to his collar was a no-go and store bought harnesses looked so uncomfy on him. This harness from dog friendly.co is perfect in every way. Easy on, easy off. Support exactly where it’s needed. A handle so we can assist him in and out of the car. The harness has been game changing for our 11 month old puppy Angus! I found the harness to be very cute and so far very durable. The color looks absolutely adorable on my pup and I really think it’s great to have two separate rings to choose from when walking her. I was beginning to worry that using the collar was hurting her when she was pulling and while walking her with the harness, I see and feel a significant difference!!
