our new beach-house (over $10 000) only to be told Dreamland don’t deliver down south and we needed to arrange a independent courier company, the likes of which they couldn’t recommend. We found an independent courier company and paid extra cor the delivery which was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. The Manager of the Gepps X didn’t care. It seemed once they had the order, they wiped us off. If we had bought online or used a reputable company such as Snooze, 40 Winks or Harvey Norman this would never have happened. And we have since found out, we would have paid less. Disgraceful.

Dreamland are terrible to deal with. They just don’t care. Avoid them at all cost!

Just had the best delivery guys ever! Eddie and Stretch did an amazing job, not only assembling our electrics mattress and base but also assisted in storing the slats removed under our bed to keep it all together. Very impressed with the service and couldn’t recommend it more! Show details

of delivery, we arranged professional assembling from recommendation of dreamland. During assembling, it was discovered that essential parts were missing — specifically the brackets — making the bed unusable. We immediately contacted the store and were told to email. We emailed as instructed, followed up, and also called the store on 2 days — both my husband and I called — and received no meaningful response or resolution. Staff repeatedly said “we don’t know” and pushed responsibility onto the manufacturer, even though we purchased the product from Dreamland, not the manufacturer. One staff member even responded in a taunting and dismissive manner when we explained that family were coming to stay and we urgently needed the bed — which was very unprofessional and upsetting. When I asked to speak to someone more senior, I was transferred to the manager, who spoke over me continuously and did not allow me to explain the situation properly. The interaction was humiliating, dismissive, and lacked any basic customer care. He also mentioned that he is frustrated.

As of today: • We have a bed that cannot be used • We have no confirmation of when missing parts will be sent • We have received no proper follow-up • And we have been treated with disrespect and indifference

This experience has been extremely disappointing from start to finish — delayed delivery, incomplete product, poor communication, and rude customer service.

I would not recommend Dreamland Jeb’s Cross based on this experience and will not purchase from them again.

assistance, no responsibility. They were copied in all emails and knew what was happening, but did nothing — just pushed me into a long, exhausting claims process with the manufacturer, who predictably came back with excuses.

Let’s be real: Dreamland knows the product is flawed. They take your money, advertise a 10-year warranty to get you over the line, and then disappear. The entire process feels like it’s designed to wear you down until you give up and throw the mattress out yourself.

Friendly and helpful when you're buying — but when something goes wrong, you're completely on your own. No support, no accountability, no care for your health or the money you spent.

If you're reading this and considering buying from Dreamland, think twice. A store that hides behind the manufacturer the moment a problem arises is not a store that deserves your trust.

it. They arranged for the manufacturer to come and assess it and he, a man that had been doing this for 20 years+ said it was definitely on the slant (not made correctly) and had a real problem. They said that it couldn't be replaced with a new mattress but had to be repaired which I thought was ludicrous. They brought in a "loan mattress" (which I assumed had been slept on by others anyway??) and took ours to repair. We were told that if they pulled the mattress apart and found nothing wrong that we would be up for the cost even though their "expert" had all ready said that it was DEFINITELY faulty!! We got the mattress back and it wasn't much better. I complained to Dreamland and they said that they cant do anything. I said that I purchased the mattress from Dreamland and paid the money to Dreamland so they needed to do something. They did nothing! We have now gone and bought a Koala mattress which was perfect the first night we slept on it. I am not sure what we can do with the old mattress as it is no good to sleep on! If someone tells you to get a mattress from Dreamland, tell them they're dreaming! What a nightmare, no accountability and very poor service. I will never go back or recommend Dreamland to anyone.

the call to organise the day of delivery and then were advised of the time on the day. The service was exceptional from the time we walked into the store to the time that the delivery people left. Everyone was happy and helpful. BUT THE BED - it is absolutely great. Thankyou DREAMLAND. We have no hesitation in recommending your product.

I had to get an mattress for an electric bed. Due to a mix up with my OT, I couldn't get the type of bed I needed. The staff understood, but went above and beyond to help with a special mattress, cover and deep sheets. Service was always friendly.

At no time did the sales person tell me I'd be doing the install, in fact I asked would someone show me how to operate it and was told yes when the guy's put it together they will show you. Poorest quality, you won't get what you have tested in shop. Go elsewhere – We bought a top of the range pillow top mattress from Dreamland Mount Barker SA three years ago and it's been nothing but terrible from day one. They finally sent out an expert after a few weeks of gaslighting, and the mattress was found to have been made incorrectly. A replacement was ordered but in the meanwhile it was suggested we "sleep on the floor" if we were that unhappy.!! After about six months the replacement mattress started to sag terribly, and now three years on has to be replaced. Do not buy a mattress from Mount Barker Dreamland. Awful experience with a sub standard low quality product. Not what I thought I was buying and what we got was not what we tested in store..We were bullied when trying to resolve their manufacturing error. Waste of money and no care once we had paid.

The bed base requirements were met with our bed but interestingly, the base that they sell for the mattress according to the sales staff, will not meet their own warranty conditions! Had to take photos and measure the amount of sag and then transport it to their store. If they decided it was not faulty we were to be charged for the work. They reworked the mattress and it was returned with no noticeable improvement.

I have just put a 350 dollar eBay vacuum packed mattress in its place, it is a vast improvement at about ¼ the cost. I personally recommend not wasting your money on the Utopia mattress. The next challenge will be to see how quickly consumer affairs can educate them on their inappropriate warranty conditions and explain to them the conditions can not override Australian consumer law. The product is in my opinion unfit for purpose and as such a full refund is their only course of action. Let’s see how we go.

I thought that the sales department were lovely, but it is certainly a whole package when you shop at Gepps Cross store. Upsold and then have only had back issues since – I went to Dreamland Marion to buy a new mattress. I told the sales woman that my old mattress was a pillow top and it provided no support and I wanted something firmer and with good support. the same level of support and that it didn’t matter, just pick whichever feels more comfortable. Of course naturally more cushioning felt more comfortable so I went with the pricier one with more cushioning. Since having the mattress I have had nothing but worsening back pains. I called them after a couple of weeks and they told me I needed to “break in” the mattress for at least a month. I waited about 2 months more and my back was not getting any better, worse if anything. Since then they’ve said I have to go through the sealy warranty and they have nothing to do with it. The warranty request has been put in and so far I haven’t heard anything….

a hello, or can we help] and came across Sandra, straight from the get go she was so helpful and asked all the right questions. With my uncles he needed special requirements and Sandra helped us and even suggested options we weren't aware of which helps with his day to day. When we returned a month later for Grandpa there Sandra was smile in tow ready to help grandpa find the bed he needed. He is vision impaired and struggling to get out of a lower bed, she helped him through the large display of beds to find the one that helped him with his vision impaired limitations with controls and then the softness his body will relish and also the height. My grandfather and I after both trips felt really heard and understood so intern we ordered. My uncles bed is a success and the bed fits perfectly with his other furniture and is incredible well made out of Mount Gambier and my Grandfathers gets delivered Thursday this week. Once again, if you need the knowledge and care then I recommend the trip down to Dreamland Marion and ask for Sandra. However unfortunately, please be aware some mattresses in Dreamland Adelaide stores are sourced from interstate. Be aware that with a 2 to 3 week delivery promise, you may be told later, after your payment in full, that you will not be given a refund and it could be many months or much longer before you receive the mattress. The store will offer the opportunity for you to choose a different mattress.
