only trouble I had was the hard wire kit supplied I had it hard wired to my door locks which have power all the time I found that my door locks didn't work so I went to Repco and bought 2 hard wire kits only $6.00 each i connected it up and it worked fine the red wire i hard wired it to the Acc . The camers work well very happy with the quality of the pitches on the app which is easy to use. After installing i had a few questions the customer service was happy to reply and answer my questions the camers are working well I'm very happy with drive vision and ther support.

Follow-up · Turns out it was a faulty Rear camera, I took everything out and put it on test and as soon as I touched the rear cable or the rear camera it stopped recording! I put that in the bin and used the replacement front camera I was sent… it’s been perfect since!

switching on and off when temperatures exceed 35 degrees plus. I’ve asked for a replacement at first and you just send me a memory card, now I’ve asked for a full refund. Drive Vision keeps on sending the same trouble shooting emails, but reading all other negative reviews I see I’m not the only one with the turning on/turning off problems. Should have just spent more money and get a Blackvue system, thought I’d support an “Australian” company but I guess I was wrong. This place just takes your money and doesn’t offer any immediate support, waiting days for a reply. And they don’t even have a phone number to call, perhaps that’s why of the inundated complains there will get.

them to be equally as good as competitors that are twice the price ( I have one of those in another car). I use an SD card adapter and OTG ( On The Go) features of my mobile phone to view files whenever I want to, easily transferring them permanently to my phone ( and by default to Google Photos in the cloud). Extremely pleased with how it all goes together, easy to swap/extract cards, quality of sound and images. Easy to purchase online through their store and good communication.
Follow-up · Sound is very good. Be careful when you're cussing at other drivers because it's very audible on playback! Setup is easy if you can follow instructions rather than freewheel it.RTFM blokes!

In addition, DriveVision staff were extremely helpful when we needed their assistance with some questions, their follow up and service is second to none. A great product , easy to plug and play or chose as we did, to install the system in sentry mode directly into the vehicle's electrical system. The auto-electrician we used, mainly because it was outside our competence but I am sure a person with a bit more vehicle skills could do it themselves, stated the system was easy to install, the instructions spot on and it took very little time which meant it wasnt a costly job.
I have no hesitation in recommending not only the product but the outstanding service and support we have had from the staff at DriveVision plus they are an Australian company and well worth our business. Certainly nothing like a dash cam system and company we had used several years earlier. did a great job. The dashcams themselves (got front and rear) work fine. I haven't had them long, but the videos I have downloaded look great, wide enough angle and very good quality. The app is also very good, with the videos easy to download into your phone photos if needed. Setting up the app just requires a bit of patience, make sure you read all of the instructions. Once set up though it is easy enough to navigate etc. I have paid for the VIP (one off payment of $60 or yearly subscription) which does give some fancy features but not really required to do everything needed of a dashcam. In summary, it has been an easy journey from ordering to finally having a working dashcam and would certainly recommend it.

can feel the heat through the plastic. This occurs when the vehicle is running and camera live and occurs even in the shade so its not the Sun doing it.
Perhaps this is normal. I have concerns for the longativity of the device. Heat and electronics do not mix well.
2. The camera does pick up internal reflections off the windscreen on the video.
This is because the camera could be too far away from the windscreen. Solution? The mount could be modified to allow the camera to be positioned closer to the glass. This would eliminate any internal reflections.
3. May wr suggest that the clips on the mount that hold the camera be made a bit more bigger and robust with future models.
Our camera vibrated loose and dropped when we were on rough gravels roads. They were very rough so this could happen with any camera.
4. The biggest issue. The split cable that plugs into the camera creates a real issue trying to tuck this extra cable behind the moulding.
You cannot tuck the rear cable plug connection behind the moulding at all. This could be entirely fixed by extending the thicker cable coming from the camera at least 1.5 metres and then have all the plug connections for the second cable (if needed) at the end where it can be hidden behind the dash or lower kick panels in the vehicle.
You just have the single cable coming from the camera that can then be successfully tucked behind the windscreen moulding.
We trust this helps with making yiur design better in future models.

The dash cams (front and back) are great. Easy to install and image quality is good. Great value for money. I would recommend to get these. However, it is very frustrating that the SD card sent in the OG set crashes in BOTH sets I’ve bought (2 cars). Had to buy different brand SD cards to get them both to work. Wish the supplied ones would work. Also frustrating to HAVE to buy more SD cards not when you just want to upgrade.

which is functional … shame it isn’t branded. So from a disappointing start I didn’t hope for much. The picture quality is excellent (both cameras) and the graphical information seen in the app related to a video is impressive at this price point. Unfortunately only the video is shareable (not the other graphics and info … shame).
It appears that the only way to take a still is via the app. VIOFO have a Bluetooth button option. It’s early days, and probably too early to tell durability. I’ve bought the additional 12 mth warranty, so I’m hoping this unit lasts well.

through the troubleshooting steps and i have done that but no luck . Then i emailed them back and again they replied after few days and this is been happening like 2-3 weeks and i have given them same answers like 5 times that i checked all whatever they asked for and they just keep going on same question and not responding to the repair or replacement as camera is still under warranty.
