Drymaster Carpet Cleaning VIC, Melbourne

Had job done recently, MARK was very. Quick, & pleasant & easy to talk to. I didn.t follow him around rooms, just let him do job. All seemed good, whilst Carpet & RUG was wet, but as it dried, l noticed mark inside Main Bedroom door, that was not there before, & other spots still there. Another disappointing aspect of job was the RUG was still MATTED on one side & as dirty as it was before cleaned. Tried to attach photos, but not work. Show details

Jobs are allocated to local franchisees and in my case there was a break down in communication which resulted not getting the service that I was expecting. However, after a few phone calls the franchisee returned two days later to finish the job to my satisfaction. Never assume that the franchisee has all the details, so I recommend to spend time to discuss the whole job lifecycle and approach prior to commencing.

Misrepresentation is a breach of the trade practices act 1975 – I was quoted 255$. Them the operator measured up the rooms and added an extra 144$ to the quote based on 5$ m2 . Neither the estimate nor the additional sum took into consideration the furniture including beds, wardrobes, couches etc. 400$ to steam clean a small single fronted un renovated cottage is ridiculously expensive. Made a stressful time much easier – The team were super helpful as the landlords tried to get us to pay for new carpet due to the ‘dog urine smell’ but the team at drymaster saves the day and did a tremendous job and we got our full bond back. Show reply

East Bentleigh Crew – Job done to my satisfaction, however one of the cleaners asked to use the toilet. When they left, I noticed that the toilet was running and the cistern was lifted up. $450 later to fix the toilet, I told drymaster and they refuse to acknowledge that they used the bathroom. else could have possibly used the toilet. As it is ceramic it is too heavy for me to lift up. It’s my word against theirs. They refuse to help pay for the bill and basically called me a liar. This is not about the job being done but the customer service following this.

Disappointed – The cleaners didn't do the whole job that I paid for which included two rooms, they only did the living room and a corridor...and, of course, I paid for the whole flat...and there are still stains on my carpet

Never again. Huge waste of time and money – So disappointed. I paid $250, the cleaner [Name Removed] was done in 40 mins including unpacking machine in and out of car. Also called to try to change the time if booked in! Clearly did a slapdash job so he could leave early. My carpet smells and looks worse than prior to having it cleaned. Even brought up old stains. So angry. I’m going to hire a machine from Bunnings for $40 and doing it myself.

Great job well done! – We needed some cleaning and deodorizing of our carpets on the stairs and the hall from pets. The fellas were running a little late but contacted me before the appointment and that was great. They did a great job of the carpets and i also asked if they could do our rug, and that came up beautiful. Josh was excellent, great manners – The service was exactly as described on the tin. Josh was professional, polite and helpful. They just got in and got it done, it was fantastic. They were 30mins late but I'm not bothered, the carpets look great and they were just really nice to deal with. Great customer service and great manners make ALL the difference. Great result – Sam was very prompt, polite & efficient. I had my leather lounge suite cleaned and it looks fantastic. My spare bedroom carpet had several stains on it was steamed cleaned and now looks like new! a pile of wet towels and dust/dirt/lint/fluff on the floors). The job cost $20 more than originally quoted. Overall, I am reasonably happy with the work but I have had better results with other services in the past (as well as several worse results when using others).

Good Job Happy Customer – Many carpet cleaners use portable kit and Drymaster is no exception. system, my carpeted area is larger than typical and based on previous cleans the amount was fair. He did a good job, with the caveat that after being cleaned the previously all but unnoticeable wear tracks on the carpets became noticeable since most of it looked new again.

Minor issue is that areas of one type of carpet took overnight to dry rather than 4 hours. My conclusion is because it was relatively dense wool and was dirtiest/stained area and received extra attention. A room with another weave wool carpet looked new wall to wall and was dry in about 4 hours as 'advertised'.

I would not hesitate to use Drymaster again.

Couch came out really nicely – I got an online quote to get my couch cleaned for $126 - booked it online for a few days later and it was very simple. of my house smelling like cat pee, but he wanted to reiterate that the stains in the couch might not always come out and may look worse if they have been there a while. I understood, he got to work and the stains all came out wonderfully. He was really happy with it and so was I. Only minor complaint was that when you get a quote like that you assume it covers the full cost. He asked if I wanted scotchgard applied for an additional $40. He said it was highly recommended, so I went ahead but feel like that could have been recommended when I was booking online also. Overall would happily use again.
