This is beyond PERFECT piece of equipment for any hair type
I have a lot of very fine, very long, very curly FRIZZY hair
I own a GHD Max
I am sick of the straightening and wanted a soft curl
Because the GHD max is so wide, it doesn't curl
I bought approx 6 different types of irons and decided to risk the money on Dyson
I bought this before their air wrap ( which I returned)
At $700 I was nervous but what I've discovered is the other products were FALSE ECONOMY
I've bought so many items for $100 -$300 that DON'T WORK
Now getting something that actually works is wonderful
Purchased in January 2021 for $699.00.
My favourite styling tool
I have numerous top end styling tools from both Ghd and Dyson but nothing beats the coral straightener. I have thick coarse wavy hair and it takes me 20 minutes to go from frizzy waves to luscious straight shiny hair unlike my ghd straightener I can take larger sections at ease with no cord so its easier to straighten and style. I highly recommend this product worth saving up for!
Purchased in August 2020 at Dyson for $699.00.
This was a special gift very lucky to have it
Best straightener I've ever used, as it doesn't seem to damage hair and easy and quick to use I have really enjoyed having this product well worth the money. Dyson have obviously put a lot of time and effort into the making it such a unique hair accessory.
Purchased in September 2020.
Find out how Dyson Corrale compares to other Hair Straighteners
Know better, choose better.
Not worth the $$$$
I have very thin medium length hair and I don’t rate this at all . It gives me static and the battery life is horrible you get 1 maybe 2 uses before you need to charge it again.
For the price tag I would have thought I would get better results but i dont , my $200 GHD did better.
Purchased in August 2020 at JB Hi-Fi for $699.00.
Questions & Answers
Sorry, there are no questions yet.
Dyson introduces its first hair straightener on the market, the Dyson Corrale. Here are some of its features:
- Flexing plates that gather hair more tightly together before straightening, leading to less hair damage, less frizz and flyaways
- 3 heat settings and an integrated heat sensor to suit your hair type
- Available to use either corded or cordless, with up to 30 minutes cord-free styling
- Flight-ready option, along with universal voltage, so you can use the Corrale while travelling.
- Auto shut-off and safety lock for peace of mind
- OLED display screen for ease of use.
- Available in two colours; black nickel/fuchsia and purple/black.
Some of these features do seem convenient (such as the flight mode option), especially if a hair straightener is more of a beauty best-friend to you than a hair styling appliance.
While Dyson prides itself on its innovative, engineering spirit when it comes to household appliances, a $699 price tag still seems a little steep for a hair straightener.
This is especially so compared to ghd’s most expensive hair straightener, the ghd platinum, which retails for $355. The ghd's ‘advanced, precision milled, floating plates’ in its premium model also use flexing plates, similar to Dyson’s model.
