Not Getting the E&S Feeling
Purchased a new Bosch oven from e&s. After installation the oven was turned on and made a terrible sound, like an internal fan was rubbing on metal.
The oven was brand new and had been installed for less than 24 hours. The product exhibited issues from the moment it was turned on. Contacted e&s and were immediately told we had to contact Bosch… after multiple emails and phone calls to e&s they gave the impression they just didn’t want to know about it, and didn’t even bother to return phone calls. No offer for us to return or replace the oven...... not even an offer to come and look at it... absolutely nothing. Contacted Bosch support, and they were also stunned that no one from e&s made any effort to come and look at the issues with the oven. The person at Bosch suggested e&s were happy to sell but not support… which certainly matches our experience. We purchased from e&s as they promote themselves as a customer focused premium brand – you know the adverts on TV with Rob Sinclair… “get the e&s feeling” well the e&s feeling we have… abandoned, frustration, and their indifferent attitude to customers. The customer reviews on this site and the lack lustre e&s responses speak volumes about the poor service delivery of the company. My recommendation, choose another supplier so you can avoid having the ‘e&s feeling’ that we experienced.
Ordered stock. Paid for stock. Half of stock delivered, waiting a month on bathroom products - no sign
7k of stock ordered for bathroom fixtures
Less than 1/2 items delivered on agreed delivery date, advised on delivery date ‘some’ items were not coming but no further update. Waiting a month, still not delivered and no follow up call to advise what happened. Still waiting. Called twice to work out issues, figure out there is no stock - even though we ordered and paid - and delivery dates keep getting extended. I have to keep chasing. No one has bothered to contact me to try to work it out, not once. Meanwhile a building contract has been signed ...
Disappointed with washing machine installation
My washing machine was not levelled when installed. I don't know if this was an oversight or a shortcut (I was not home to supervise the delivery and installation) but to me that is really poor form because levelling is an essential part of washing machine installation, the e&s website specifically mentions levelling as part of their washing machine delivery service, and the whole point of me buying a new machine instead of bothering with a second hand purchase was that it would be hands and hassle free! I even left a special note with e$s and ...on the front door mentioning that the laundry floor is particularly uneven and levelling will be required. Fortunately I have the knowledge and ability to level it myself but if I had used the machine not knowing any better I would definitely have vibration related issues down the line. I felt that the initial response to my complaint was quite generic and 'copy paste'. An attempt was made to arrange someone to come and do it over the weekend but the timing didn't work and I don't currently don't have the time to wait until the following week. Unfortunate and disappointing but I got a good eofy price with free delivery.
Outstanding service and best price around!
We had never heard of E&S before and when our 6yr old Samsung washing machine suddenly died (was too expensive to repair) I was desperate for something new and reliable - not Made China. After much research I decided on a Bosch (Made In Germany) 10kg washer and after a bit of Googling I found E&S $400 cheaper than Harvey Norman and $200 cheaper than Appliances Online - same model! Yes - E&S also disconnect/remove the old machine and install the new. I found all the staff I dealt with including the delivery/installation guys friendly and helpful. They have 3 showrooms in Melbourne - but we just purchased online. They do price match - but we found them the cheapest by far anyway.
Wonderful Customer Service, (Even when things go wrong.)
I was delighted with the customer service I received at Preston E&S Trading. I wish I could name the salesperson who gave me so much time, great advice, and made my purchases so easy. I asked if E&S Trading 'price matched', and I thought I had to go away and do it on my own. I was surprised and delighted that the salesperson offered to do it for me whilst I was there. Any sites I wanted to check, was no problem. I saved hundreds of dollars and was a delighted customer.

Exceptional customers service plus match price after purchase
I did not expect such great customer service. Although they have a competitive price plus free shipping they did match the price after I bought a bosch dryer from them. They sent me the refund right away.
Outstanding Customer Service!
This is our second purchase from E&S in Essendon, and we cannot fault their service and knowledge! The first time was for a bathroom renovation and this time was for all our kitchen appliances. It is refreshing to have a salesperson like Ahmed who has extensive knowledge and is not pushy in any way. Thank you Ahmed for your patience, and for understanding the stresses of renovating. We will be back to see you for our next renovation!

Best service ever
Rang a few days ago an spoke to a person on the phone called Zara, told her what I wanted and she was so helpful and item was paid for over the phone. Got confirmation when dryer would be delivered and they sent me messages to update me about it, on the day of item being delivered, it even showed me where the van was so I could track it’s progress. The guys delivering the goods rang me and told me that they would be a few minutes late, this is by far the best company I have ever encountered, there price was better than everyone else. Keep up th...is brilliant work, and the guys even wanted to take the cardboard box the dryer came in, ha ha I just can’t get my head around this service, oh and free delivery, not like the good guys or Harvey Norman or J B hifi who charge for delivery. Today I experienced a fabulously delicious cooking demonstration of Siemens Ovens. Robert was certainly a knowledgeable chef using all the different modes of cooking. Definitely an important thing to do before you buy. Thanks E and S for this opportunity
Just the best experience with online sales
The wshing mashine I bought was at a great price which frankly many other competitors could have matched. But the real difference was with the fact that the communications and the delivery. I was unsureo fthe delivery date because my house wasn't ready, and they were absolutely acomodating about that. Wrote an email, like a real email written just to me (not some stock standard platitudes!) to confirm that the delivery date remained flexible. Eventually at the time of delivery the delivery people actually took care to ensure that my carpet stay...ed clean, and completely unpacked the washing machine and took the box away at my request, And I had not even paid anything for delivery. This was a great contrast to other deliveries where they just plead that the delivery says 'drop off' and leave you to struggle with the bulky items. My only regret - E&S doesnt sell more products because I would have ordered everything from them, and not looked beyond.
Went in knowing what we were after and was politely asked if we needed help by salesperson Jeff. We were happy to browse but when it came time for some advice he was fantastic and knew his stuff. His polite helpful demeanour was a breath of fresh air and his customer service the best I have experienced in a long time. Thanks for a great experience and we I’ll be back and recommend others.
The Ace-Harvey Norman for service, products and word.
Purchased Belling Cooker and Sirius Hood from Harvey Norman Thomastown. Walked into the store to the kitchen section and was greeted by Sev. Who was an Ace salesperson. Calm, quiet but thorough and efficient. Took us through products knowledgeably and ended up finding my dream cooker on sale as it was a floor model. I was in and out of that store in half an hour. Delivery was organised and that was done like clockwork. cannot wait to use the products. Thank you Sev.

The help I received in selecting a dishwasher was patient and thorough. The communication pre delivery was good. Delivery and installation was on time and trouble-free. Recommend.
