Elevator not working in my parents home after a power outage. They have been told to wait 1 week for a service call to repair. They are elderly and can't access bedrooms or garage without difficulty. Not good enough Easy Living!
Bad after sales service The Liftshop
Never, I repeat never sign up to The Liftshop for their service on your lift. I had an excellent experience with the sale and installation of our lift 3 years ago and signed up with them to service the lift afterwards. I have had to call them to remind them that I have paid to service my lift each time, every second service is cursory. This year after forcing them to come out they said they were too busy and sent an installer to do the job who spent 15 mins (usually takes a couple of hours) on the service and now the second service due last mon...th has not been done and they have already had the audacity to send me an invoice for the upcoming year. Getting my lift serviced by The Liftshop has been a struggle from day 1. I will not be using them in the future.
Excellent service and product !
Excellent service and product, always helpful and accomodating and willing to think outside the box to fulfill our special needs.
A willingness to alter the way they do things to put the customer first !
As with most things, there are always minor teething issues. Martelli and the team have provided proficient back up and service addressing any and all issues.
All team members to date, from the initial sales team, through to technical advice, installation teams, commissioning, and back up service have all acted in a professional manner throughout the project.
The on site staff have demonstrated good communication skills, have been customer service centric and performed work at a satisfactory level of technical competency. We look forward to an ongoing relationship with Easy Living and a continued provision of quality back up and service.
Professional company. Quality installation team
Hassle free with sound advice throughout the project. These people know what they are doing
Assigned a project manager who was on site to guide us through building requirements. Installation team was great to work with and true professionals
Thank you Matt for initiative in organising prompt replacement of transformer damaged by power surge. Thanks too for delivery of long awaited brochure.
After the inevitable trauma of adding a lift, all our service experiences have been prompt and efficient. Thank you. Frank & Gwen
It was worth the wait
I had a few issues initially with delays and change of personnel but I am more than happy with the end result. Every person who has seen it is more than impressed on how smart it looks.
Martelli came onboard and did an excellent job with organising the installation. The team that installed were very competent and carefull. There was not a mark that alone a scratch left on the surrounding walls, floors etc. Its been operation without a glitch for a good while.
Thank you Martelli and your team of installers. Your efforts were very much appreciated.
Just had our first regular service on our Easy Living Lift with technician Matt.
When we made our booking the phone assistant was helpful and obliging.
Matt came in the expected time window and called first to update us on his arrival time. He was very friendly and happily answered any questions we had about our lift.
Fast efficient service
Had our Domus personal lift serviced by Easy Living this week. I found the booking process efficient and technician Matt arrived on time. Very amenable Matt carried out the service and also fixed a minor problem in our lift well. I was very pleased with the overall experience and would have no hesitation in recommending them.
More than happy with lift .
After a slow start we are now enjoying our new lift thanks to the efforts of Stan and Clint from the Melbourne office who went out of their way at final fitoff and handover to make sure we got the product we were promised .
Excellent and trustworthy service thanks
Dear Robert, due to our advancing years we decided to investigate the possibility of having a lift installed in our home at Blighs Road, Cromer. We have been here for approximately 45 years, we love our home, love the area and have terrific neighbors. So as we often drive past your premises at Willoughby, decided to call in, where we were introduced to Trent Sainsbury a lift consultant at your Company.
Following some discussions and preliminary inquiries, arrangements were made for Trent to pay us a visit on the 10th July, 2019, which he duly ...

Easy Living Reports below are not what we found
I know for a fact: The technical staff in the Brisbane Office are all fully qualified and at least four of those that worked here had been working for Easy Living for approx 10 years. Being an Owner Builder and Electrical Engineer myself, I am very picky about all tradesmen who work on our house. Whilst we have had some who were bad, the Easy Living people were highly professional and very experienced. I would not hesitate to choose them again if I needed to.
It is now April 2019 and our much loved IGV Domus Lift is badly corroding inside...

Don't Care that our Lift Phone Does Not Work
I used to think this company was OK, we have one of their lifts in our house. The lift itself has given us 4 years of good service with no problems. The servicemen for the annual service seem nice. However, along came the NBN and we had to turn our internal lift phone from a landline to a built in mobile because landlines go out in a blackout when you are on NBN (something the NBN adds don't tell you). The internal phone in the lift is a major safety feature in case someone is caught in the lift alone in the house, and is absolutely required by...law. It has stopped working and Easy Living will not speak to me about it. I have phoned many times and keep being told by the girl at the other end that they will get back to me - they haven't. This is appalling and I would guess illegal because as I said the phone is a safety item.

Easy living installed a Domus lift to our new home in about 2011. Over the past few months, a few things have gone wrong with it - which we expect from time to time. The service by Easy Living and their booking system in the last 6 months have been terrible. Scheduling issues, poor customer service, text messages not being received, other peoples booking confirmations received by us (including their addresses). Calls not being returned. The best one is on 21 December 2018. We paid $2603.00 (upfront) to have a new motor pump installed and an NBN...upgrade. The booking advice said someone would be at our place at 8am. By 9am I rang the QLD booking office to inquire as to where the technician is? I was informed "he turned up at your house at 8am but had to leave for an entrapment call out".. Fair enough. Of course nobody rang and told us (typical awful customer service with this company). We were told the technician would come, however, due to the high chance of rain best he didn't as it was an electrical pump being installed. After informing the booking office "It is cloudy here but the forecast is no chance of rain". I was informed, "Well, there is a high chance of rain where the technician currently is" (which incidentally was 22km and a 40 minute drive from us). Seriously, starting to sound like a very "tall story" So now we do not have a working lift over the Christmas period and have been rebooked for 2 January. Let's see what happens? By the way, it's now 11:30 there has been no rain and the sun is out! Merry Christmas. Update: 2nd Jan 8 am - Nobody turns up. We have to ring of course and chase up. Have been advised someone is definitely coming today. Let's see what happens. Further update: 2nd Jan 3pm - A call from QLD office. They cannot attend today (Surprise! Surprise!) The technician realized he does not have the part he needs to do the job. It was as left in another van before Christmas. (Very organized business this one)! Rebooked Saturday 4th. Third time lucky?!?! We have now left a message for a Manager to call back when he is out of a "meeting".
Worst Company I ever had to Deal With
From the very beginning we had trouble with Easy Living Elevators. We were given specifications, but on each visit during the build they changed lift well specifications, a cost I had to wear. Within days of install the lift broke down and has continued to break down, so much so I insist that only bags go in lift and passengers go down the stairs, if the lift is working. I had had them out to fix the breakdowns over the last year numerous times. I currently have been waiting a week for a service, and today I am now told it's another 3 days, today's appointment cancelled late.
Let me caution anyone considering using this company, DON"T
Easy Living -a great domestic lift company
I am sorry to hear Domus lifts are no longer being made .We had ours now for 8 month and are very happy with its performance and quality.
Our experience in dealing with Easy Living could not have been better, with both Craig and Robin going out of their way to assist us during the whole project, I only hope that there will be continued good support for Domus lifts now that they are no longer in production
