Ongoing issues with the same lift. has now been unservicable for almost 1 year out of the last 3. No information forthcoming from Easy Living about when repairs might be made. Phone calls not returned.

We have had easy living service our lift for a few years and although it has cost us thousands of dollars for service and repairs we have not been able to use our lift. Communication has been shocking , we have spent hours on the phone trying to get a response . They never call back. We have waited months for them to return to the job but it has… Read more

never been fixed. we just kept getting more bills for a lift that does not work. Have to warn anyone who is considering a lift or requiring servicing of an existing lift to stay away from this company. We are still so upset about the amount of time and money that we have wasted .

Our home lift has broken down with me inside THREE times this year. Each time I wait for 10 days for a repair then it lasts a day and I am locked in again! There is a problem with the magnet on the door but instead of replacing it they just move it and go on their way NOT fixing the problem.

multiple services, multiple payments, no guarantees – I have a less than 4 years old lift. It was routinely serviced on 24/4/2024 for $576. Since then, a button to call the lift and a light indicating the lift on a particular level had stopped working. I had a service call on 8/11/2024 for $289 and was told by technician that it's likely due to power surge in my area and nothing could be done to… Read more

prevent it happening again. The light & button returned to work. On 23/12/2024, the lift stopped between 1st & 2nd floor. I managed to get the passengers out using emergency keys. But when I called for service, it was not available until 14/1/2025. [Name Removed] came on 14/1/2025 and could not be sure why the lift stopped working. He restarted the lift and found out the LONG TRAVEL alarm was triggered but could not explain why it's triggered and could not be sure if that was the cause of the problem. A bill of $289 was sent to me. When I queried why the cause of problem was not identified and no guarantee that the problem would happen again, I was given this response: "The lift is mechanical equipment, regular servicing is the best way you can keep all the components checked just like with your car. As it is mechanical equipment there are times where we will have faults that come up with general use and wear and tear." Therefore, I have to accept that my lift could break down anytime and without explanation. The only action I can take is to call for service, wait for weeks, pay another $289, hoping that it will not happen the next day and no one will be stuck in the lift. BTW, 2x call buttons (G/F and 2nd level) had stopped working since 17/01/2025, 3 days after the last service. All these happened within a 12 months period despite regular maintenance service.

Living people were highly professional and very experienced. I would not hesitate to choose them again if I needed to. ..... It is now July 2023: After several years of trouble-free usage, our much-loved IGV Domus Lift continues to work perfectly. The title above refers to the initial installation where the lift control box was supplied from the manufacturers with a small hydraulic-fluid leak, however this was promptly repaired by the Easy Living service technicians. Jackson were respectful, professional and very skilled in their craft and we felt very comfortable having them in our home. Upon completion easy living had a third person, Greg, review, handover and commission the lift. Unlike other companies, final payment is only asked for AFTER completion. This made us feel safer about the whole process. Deciding on a lift provider is a minefield. Apples aren’t apples and contracts can be very biased to the company but we were very happy with the easy living process. We could not recommend this company enough.

We moved into our Brisbane townhouse in May 25. A technician came in to check out everything and replaced some parts and batteries. Then in August 25 a technician came in to do an annual service. various sensors and parts. Today the lift again was not working. However after a while it all of a sudden started working again.

We are too afraid to use the lift ourselves, so we are only using it to move bits and pieces between the various levels.

Now we are again waiting for a technician to come and check it all out.

The worst is that we have to pay every time for service that does not resolve the problem and we have a lift that we are afraid to use.

Lift only half installed and no one will contact me to fix it – I would give 0 star if possible. After having many problems in the ordering process we now have half a lift installed in our property that has not been made according to the contract. We selected and paid for upgrades but have not installed them. When I questioned why they haven't installed the upgrades, I have only been able to get one reply… Read more

saying that they have given me options from another lift version. All they have said is that a manager will reach out to you but it has been over a month and no manager, or anyone else, has reach out to rectify this.

I should have gone with a different company when the sales team kept making mistakes but I felt that I didn't want to waste more time. But there have been so many delays and now they haven't installed the correct lift upgrades so our lift is only half installed for over 2 months. Please save your time and money and go elsewhere. You can see all my other reviews have only been 5 star glowing reviews but since noone will respond, I am not sure what else I can do.

I have all the receipts and images of upgrades not provided and half a lift installed.

Updated 18/11/24: I signed my specification document on the 7 Feb 2024. They state in their advertising that it should take 26-29 weeks to complete. We are sitting at 41 weeks and I have still had no contact from this company. I have had to take legal action. 12/12/204 Resolved.

We had a 6 monthly service by a gentleman named Karl. He was so thorough and went through many items we had not been aware of before. Jacob did my lift service and then today replaced the backup batteries and upgraded my lift phone to G4 has been excellent throughout. He is personable, knowledgeable, experienced and efficient. I am unable to attach Invoice 00001052 to this feedback app. Show reply

Great lift service – Karl and AJ did a terrific job repairing my lift. We were told it would take 2 men x 4 hours each and were quoted accordingly. It only took 2 hours so the invoice was dramatically reduced. These technicians are fantastic and i wish they would always service my lift. Show reply

Annual Service – Always book Karl if you can! He really knows the product and how to fix and service. He is sensible, works carefully and steadily and always cleans up perfectly. I was lucky, booking early, but it would make such a difference if you could follow what most services do these days with notice of scheduling the day before and notice of arrival an hour before (to be fair you did notify on the morning of his expected arrival). Show reply
