Have they changed the formula? I have struggled to get good coverage with recent cans purchased. It used to come out like a foam and now it's very liquid and does not stick on well, necessitating several applications. The nozzle has always been bad and gets clogged, but it was definitely the most powerful. I might have have to try Mr Muscle again, which was weak in comparison Show details

The new 750mL spray bottle is absolutely useless - it does nothing to get rid of grease in ovens despite what it claims on the bottle. A total waste of money - in short a rip off. I wish I had seen the reviews before spending my money. The old pressure cans were O.K. but not this " improved " version is hopeless. Show details

This is the best oven cleaner I have used. Sprayed it in a warm oven as per cans instructions, left for about an hour. Baked on stains came off with no trouble. The oven is sparkling clean, I couldn't be happier. Show details

Follow-up  · I have used this oven cleaner again and I was equally happy with the results. I've found it wipes off easily. Like all oven cleaners I wear rubber gloves and take care not to breath any fumes. I'm still happy to recommend this product as the best oven cleaner I've found.

WORST OVEN CLEANER EVER – This oven cleaner is the ABSOLUTE WORSE EVER! Ive attached photos. The hole is smaller than a pin prick! The foam hardly comes out! To press the dispenser is SO BAD it leaves an IMPRINT on pad of my finger & really hurts. Because the foam spray hardly comes out, I had to scrub the oven with steel wool. Problem is supermarkets stopped selling any other brand. Im going to try Global Shop degreaser & see how it goes.

Cleaned old oven door brilliantly but fumes are strong – I've tried many products and methods, including baking soda and vinegar and all sorts of oven cleaner products etc and it got to the point where I was trying to track down a replacement inner glass door for my >15 year old oven at a cost of a few hundred dollars because I've never been able to get the inner glass door clean and thought it was… Read more

beyond saving. It was difficult to see through it was so grubby with baked on grime I've never been able to get off.

As a last resort I tried this stuff and thought for the sake of $5 it's worth a try and wow, it's the only thing I've tried that actually cleaned the glass and that's with literally no effort, no scrubbing at all.

All I did was remove the glass (in my oven that's easy) so I could take it outside so the fumes would disperse outside rather than through the house (the fumes are potent!).

Hold the glass up so the can is vertical when spraying (that's important! The contents don't spray well at all if the can is too far from vertical, if you lean the can over it will not spray well at all!) and spray heaps on to completely cover the glass. It foames up a bit so the sprayed on liquid will stick while the glass door is held up etc.

From there I just laid it down on an old towell on the driveway, let it sit for about 40 minutes then simply wiped off 15 years of baked on grime and muck and the glass door literally looked like new.

I was shocked at how well it worked, but definitely the fumes are very potent and highly irritant to your airways so either do it outside or wear a mask or something.

Not sure why some people have so many issues either using it, or the nozzle blocking or the product not working etc, but I never had any problems using it and was the only cleaning product I've ever found that easily cleans the glass door of the oven.

Definitely keep the can vertical, and definitely shake well and I also shook the can while spraying and didn't have any issues either with the nozzle or anything else, worked brilliantly for me.

I forgot to clean the grills and the oven itself as I was only concerned with the grubby glass door etc so bear that in mind with the photos, but before the cleaning it was difficult to see through the glass door.

BEST OVEN CLEANER EVER EASY-OFF HEAVY DUTY OVEN CLEANER – I read the reviews of this oven cleaner and went to buy it. I did not image this cleaner would be so good. Been cleaning my oven for years nothing as good as this easy-off cleaner . The best oven clear in years spray on leave, then come back and all brown grime is remove by the wipe of a clean microfibre rag. Oven is spotless like new as I… Read more

bought it. Worth all the money and can't believe how cheap it is. However fumes are strong need a mask or breath taken away PS if your oven has hard stain put another coat on it leave it for 6 hrs I left it over night, trust me it wipes off with microfibre rage oven comes spotless

Total waste of money – I have been using this oven cleaner a year ago. At first I found it really useful. It totally cleaned even the toughest and old grease. A week ago, we bought a new one but gosh the spray was not working. Even the lid can be hardly open to begin with. So we bought another one, thinking that the next one would be better. It was so disappointing that they were just the same. A total waste of money. Show details

Does a great job, IF you can get it out of the can – Unfortunately, this product is a real mixed bag. We followed the instructions on the can to a tee, i.e. shaking the can vigorously, turning the nozzle so it points towards the red dot (also tried all other directions when that proved pointless) and making sure to hold the can upright or only slightly tilted. Even so, both cans we bought produced a… Read more

ridiculously low amount of spray at best, with mostly just propellant coming out. When we did get a short burst of the actual cleaner onto the oven racks we tried to clean every now and then, it actually worked like a charm! The hard crusty baked on grease essentially dissolved and was easy to wipe off with paper towel, before rinsing off the rest. The smell of the product is very strong, but I wouldn't have expected anything caustic enough to deal with oven grime the way this product does to smell better or less. Do make sure you wear a decent mask and other recommended items of protection and try to keep the area ventilated (without actually blowing around too much air, or you may find that the wisps of spray you may, with any luck, wheeze out of the can get blown away onto a surface you didn't want to subject to harsh chemicals!) Reckitt Benckiser, please redesign the spray cans of this product, so it can be used as intended. As it is now, we will not be purchasing it again.

New product redesigned late 2020 a slight improvement. (bottom third of can is now black in colour) – I have used this product for years. Always gets the job done but has to be handled carefully. Importantly this new product * stays wet * for a long time after it has been applied and you can leave it on a cold oven for a few hours and let the chemicals break down the dried carbon/grease. Still has those choking fumes though so the ONLY way to… Read more

use it is to have LOTS of ventilation and: step 3m away from the oven to take a deep breath and hold the breath whilst applying to the oven and return to a spot a few meters away from the oven before taking another breath.

No real problems with application, but best to do the oven roof/floor first whilst the can is full as otherwise there will be a lot of tilt to the can that will blow out the compression gas if the can is near empty when you do those. I have had no issues leaving it on glass oven doors overnight. But the can says not to use on glass cooktops, so I have not tried it on that.

For really bad carbonized deposits on some rental ovens that have not been properly cleaned for years, expect to do multple applications of a few hours soaking each time and a pot scourer helps in ripping stubborn crust off.

Don't get it on your skin and rinse immediately if you do. Read the instructions on the can before using: eg rotate spray nozzle to red dot on top rim. Turn on the oven on high after wiping out *all* the residue to burn off the remaining odors.

Recommend, esp at this price point.

Works well on very heavy baked-in grease – We recently sold a home that had an oven that needed some serious heavy duty cleaning. This was a self cleaning oven, however all the self cleaning in the world was not going to get the blackened charred grime off the wall sand grills of that oven! I noticed that my standard baking soda and vinigar concoction was not helping at all so I went out… Read more ·  1

and bought the BAM! And seriously BAM - the grime was gone.

This works when you either leave it for a couple of hours in a cold oven with the door closed OR after warming up the oven, apply and leave it for about 20mins.

This does indeed work very well and as always you should wear gloves but you will need a protective mask covering your nose & mouth. The fumes are extremly bad and even at a distance I could inhale it. It felt so toxic, I ended up tying a scarf around my nose & mouth. However this product does truely do the job and when I cleaned it away it removed every bit of the baked-in grime and it left me with and oven that looked as good as new. Really does clean the hard to remove stuff in the oven This product should come with a protective mask for the fumes

Cleaning chemical works well but – The cleaning function of this spray product is excellent but... 1) the reviews about the spray nozzle are correct, especially after the first use 2) Wear a mask & googles because the fumes are an irritant to your airways Show details

Excellent – This is the only oven cleaner I will use, never had a problem with it. For those people who say it doesn’t work, I have 1 thing to say. You shouldn’t let your oven get that bad, that you have to do it 3 times to get it clean. you need to clean your oven more regularly Show details

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT – It's funny I have read some of the bad reviews and they are misleading as they mostly don't relate to how EXCELLENTLY the product works. I agree that sometimes the sprayer clogs and that is annoying as it often wastes the product, perhaps it is something the company should look at as this is the most common complaint, BUT I FIND IT REALLY WORKS… Read more

AND I LOVE IT. The other common complaint is that it can ruin surfaces, which is true, but it does warn you (in very small writing) not to use it on certain surfaces (like aluminium, plastics etc.) so perhaps they should make this warning sign larger. I do agree also that the fumes are horrible, I always wear a mask and try not to inhale the fumes by holding my breath when spraying, or whenever possible taking pans/shelves outside (on a windless day) to avoid fumes inside, and wear rubber gloves to make sure it doesn't go on my skin. PLEASE DONT DISCONTINUE THIS PRODUCT AS I WOULD BE LOST WITHOUT IT.

Used to better…but now we are being ripped off – I’ve used this product for years. It is horrendously toxic but it does work well. However now you can never empty the can. I used to be able to use all the product until the end. Problem is I believe is now the company are being devious and do not put enough propellant in the can to sufficiently use all the product inside. Hence you can still hear… Read more

there is possibly 1/4 of the cans contents left but no way of using. Just another attempt at ripping off the consumer. Wasteful and deceitful.

Don't bother buying, save your $$$ – I will no longer bother buying this product, firstly because it just doesn't clean and live up to its product name and promises and secondly, once the can has been sprayed a few times, the nozzle fails and I am left throwing out a half full can. Show details

Best I've used – It says no scrubbing required and maybe that's true if you leave it on for 30 minutes as it says. However, our Miele oven said not to leave it on any more than 10 minutes so we erred on the side of caution. So, a bit of scrubbing required but not much and this is certainly the best of many products I've tried Show details

Caused chemical burns – Used the spray one morning to clean the oven and it has got underneath the gloves I was wearing and has given me 3rd° chemical burns which have required surgery in skin grafts. It has worked well at cleaning my oven however shouldn’t be sold as a domestic grade cleaning product as it has resulted in serious burns Show details
