ECCO Multi-Vent shoes less than 2 months old, torn at the front of the shoe. Ecco originally said shoes were not covered under wear and tear. Sent an email raising the issue again as they're only 2 months old, and they said shoes had shown a tear which does not fall under warranty. times (shoes still look new). The shoes themselves are extremely soft and fragile at the forefoot, especially because of the perforations. I was offered a $50 online credit. This is useless as I do not have any intention of buying another pair, as these shoes serve one single purpose for me. Asked for the $50 to be refunded, so I can try and have the shoes repaired locally, and was also denied.

Unfortunately I won't be buying Ecco shoes again, as the after sales support is horrendous for such an expensive pair of shoes. I advise people to do the same, and look at other well supported and backed brands such as ON, Merrell, and Salomon.

Update: I received an email from a manager at ECCO looking at finally resolving this issue. My shoes were sent back for assessment and after assessment a new pair was sent.

I am pleased with the service finally ECCO offered, however it is unfortunate it took this long.

REVIEW: the AI review at the bottom hits the problem with nail into the head. One of the worst corporate customer services. I have bought the sandals a while and even though, they're out of warranty, they were absolutely fine with most labels still in place and sole being in perfect conditions. they have been worn may be 30 days per year over 3 years. the tear is in completely wrong place and clearly production/design issue. nevertheless the customer service even did not bother to offer minimal compensation as a credit to the old trusted customer?!???

loose. Gluing them overseas was not successful and because they became a trip hazard I threw them away. On my return to Australia I thought I would give Ecco some feedback, but not make a claim as they were well out of warranty. I sent them photos of what happened and to my surprise they offered me a $200 voucher. What other company would do that?? sole on one shoe came apart a short time after purchase making them unwearable. Obviously a fault, rare but it happens. Because of illness acute then chronic we did not take the shoes back when they were in warranty. In September 2024 with the shoes still sitting in the laundry looking so pretty and so unwearable, I contacted Ecco as per the advice of the staff at the Sydney CBD store. Ecco customer service advised me to send an email with photos. I sent a screenshot of the credit card transaction as I did not have the receipt, and I sent the photos of the shoes. Then Ecco paid for the shoes to go back to them - they examined them and then offered a replacement! My daughter went to an Ecco store and chose a beautiful alternate pair see photo. Ecco then posted out the same shoes! I am very very grateful to Ecco for this excellent customer service

While the size and colour were correct, the product did not match the women’s model shown in the listing. As the men’s and women’s designs differ, this made the shoes unsuitable for me.

This was disappointing, particularly when ordering directly from the official brand store. I am leaving this review to highlight a product/listing accuracy issue so other buyers can double-check before purchasing.

would replace the shoes at no cost. I visited a store to confirm the correct size and style and dealt with Sophia and Emunza and the service was second to none. I have now worn the replacement shoes yesterday and they are even more comfortable than the earlier pair I had. Comfort is important to me as I have a problem with my right foot. If you want outstanding service and an excellent golf shoe that you must buy an Ecco golf shoe. BTW they are 100% water proof. They will cost a little bit more but they are worth every cent. You will be very pleased that you made the purchase.

 Follow-up  · Waterproofing was exceptional. I don't know what caused the separation. I play golf walking 18 holes 2-3 times a week.

receive a reply today that there is nothing they can do to stop the order. I find the level of service provided by a premium supplier to be completely sub standard. For the record I did not want a refund I just wanted the order fixed and now I have to wait for the wrong shoes to turn up and take time out of my day to return them whichever way I can. This all could have been avoided if ECCO had someone on customer support actually supporting there customers.

 Follow-up  · Due to the fact they sent shoes at different times, I took two pairs back to the nearest store which was 25 minutes away by car. Got a refund on those and kept the others as I did not want to drive back. Ecco took no responsibility and said it was my fault. Even though I sent emails with proof. They just danced around it. At least I know where you stand with them.

I just got a pair of off-road women's sandals for my upcoming trip to Italy. I've had terrible foot pain recently and spent around $1500 trying different shoes, even earthrunner sandals which only caused more pain. 4 days and I LOVE them! I have been purchasing ECCO shoes (walking and golf shoes) for a number of years and have walked thousands of kms in them. They are durable, high quality and comfortable. I am very impressed with their customer service too. Highly recommend ECCO.
