Eco Garage Doors

The door installed on my new house is noisy, wavy and just looks awful. the builder told me that it was a good product and better than I think Century was the other company. My door is the worst on my street and was told that it is just the quality of the product they sell and won't fix it.

up. It was also rubbing on the outside of the door, so there is a white vertical mark on my black door. Service came out and could not resolve either problem and left. I have since been trying to get them back to fix the original and ongoing issues, only to be told my door is now out of warranty and I need to pay up front for someone to come out. I would never recommend this company to anyone, as I have been treated appallingly, in addition they are very rude to deal with.

Issues with noisy opener. 2 year Warranty is a scam. Brochure says silent operation...haha.false advertising.Warranty is worthless as ecodoors expect you to service at cost of nearly $300. What is the point of a Warranty.

Beware using eco remotes – Our remote of 6mths has stopped working for $88 it should have a 12mths change over if you buy eco remote online you get a 12mths free change over but eco want to sell another at$88 which is not fair if we ever get another door it will not be eco

my existing door was damaged called Eco had them come out to give me a quote, was happy with there pricing and got them to order and install. Took roughly 3 weeks to get the door made and installed was happy with outcome. Team that come out was organised and clean up after themselves and before they left gave me a few pointers on looking after the door. Would recommend as they seem to know there stuff.

Had issues with my roller door breaking at the seams contacted ECO had someone come out measure and quote me for a new door. Door got installed within 3 weeks was very surprised with how fast the installer was. Great job would recommend

Doors can cater for, but Geoff was not pushy at all and I felt very comfortable telling him and he wished us all the best with our build. I would definitely recommend speaking to Geoff about your garage door needs.

Absolutely terrible company to deal with. Staff members are so rude and the service is shocking. Would not recommend using them at all. Make sure you’re free for 24 hours when dealing with theirs service staff as they have no consideration for anyone else time.

The mere fact this cost us thousands as a business and left our customers feeling cheated also as they had no further confidence in ECO doors or their products, I can only suggest one shops elsewhere as we were constantly dealing with a new staff member on a weekly basis which says a lot about their customer service and practices as a company.

expected a different outcome? Ridiculous. With the third roller door the profile was changed slightly but after a couple of weeks we encountered the same problem. The roller door was rubbing every time it ascended and the noise made ascending and descending was like a loud bang. After door two we asked for our money back but ECO Garage Doors refused and continued to inconvenience us, the Client, with their 'investigation' visits which amounted to no solution for the issues. ECO Garage Doors were never forthcoming with investigation outcomes and the next approach to resolution, we always had to follow up. Very poor communication. Once the third roller door was installed and the same issue occurred after a couple of weeks we had had enough. ECO Garage Doors finally then confirmed that we would be refunded the money paid for the roller door. Through out this 11 month ordeal we have had to make ourselves available whilst ECO Garage Doors performed their investigations, removal of their roller doors, and installation of their roller doors. This has been not just an inconvenience but has cost us time away from work. I sent an email to the director of the ECO Doors a Bert Lubin and provided a timeline which illustrated every event from the time the ECO Garage Door roller door was installed and the problems encountered. The email also requested an amount for compensation due to the inconvenience and financial loss we suffered from time away from work during the 11 months. A [Name Removed] responded saying he would investigate. The outcome of [Name Removed]'s investigation confirmed that we deserved no compensation, he stipulated that as we received a refund for the monies we paid for the roller door this would suffice. In my opinion this response was very unprofessional and does not make good business sense. Yes, we received a refund only because their product did not deliver what was promised. Our original door which lasted 26 years was from B&D, we were sold a promise from ECO Garage Doors that their product would meet our requirements and it performed very badly. Needless to say our new roller door will be from B&D, don't compromise.

Dear people, Do not waste your money on ECO garage doors, they are very bad quality, and they will not warrenty they product. They have manufacture faults and will not ever come out to fix their warrenty issue.

This company and staff are useless, continual issues and no customer service always want more and more cash off customers, rubber fell off they want $640 dollars even though it’s a install issue, stay away. Do not use. Look at the rate on reviews must say why it’s soooo low.

This people are unprofessional and rude. Never do business with them. if you ever decide to build with Metricon please ask them not to use this supplier. This people will not help you even you are under warranty. Absolute rubbish customer service and no one has courage to even come and talk to you over phone.

You just have to read the other reviews. I've purchased an Eco garage door TWICE in two homes now. Will not use them again. If you want to feel supported and protected after you purchase look elsewhere. Their service department need some help in a restructure. It's a larger company with larger overheads and you'll be paying for it. Staff need retraining on how to interact with LOYAL customers before they lose more business

I guess no one pay or get charge if something under warranty, point is these people dont even hire professionals to finish their contract, they hire from FB (chippies). they dont care whatsoever because Metricon paid already, it happened with my friend too where they didnt install the bracket with bolts, and she got 3 yr oldit was dangerous.

please be careful before you sign the contract with Metricon, ask them to change supplier or different company. you don't need hassle after paying sh*t loads of $$.

Then the fuse in our motor burnt out and the garage door was not working We contacted ecogarage doors again - but no response at all - literally after 2 weeks they get back and send someone to look at motor - who literally did nothing - used a fuse we had bought and did not bother installing motor back Eco garage doors never advised us beforehand that there would be a charge of 300$ - considering the motor is under warranty - had they advised us we would not have agreed to technician coming out .

I personally went to ecogarage door showroom to give feedback to manager , instead of listening and addressing the issue - he was evasive , did not want to engage , became aggressive and threatening . Being a female I found that very intimidating .All this to avoid his obligations of warranty and deceitfully extracting money from people

We have gone and changed our garage motor to Merlin platinum from a very good company

We were planning on changing the garage doors at our holiday home and city and we’re planning on using eco garage doors but after these experiences we have decided to use B&D insulated doors They respect their warranty n are actually interested in their clients

Ecogarage doors are all about taking your money and they don’t want anything to do with you after that . I do not recommend eco garage doors I am surprised they are still in bussiness ..

After purchase care is more important than anything , my garage door is less than 2 years old, and started already getting stuck multiple times, , I had to call external emergency service and paid $950 . First: customer service contact is only through emails, you cannot talk to anyone Second: you have to pay upfront so they can offer you a day for the service Third , I chased them after payment , they offered a technician to come after 4 days, he will contact me one hour before they come, I explained am at work , I asked if they can come anytime after 3 pm, customer service did not want to listen , said they cannot offer the service Fourth : now I have to chase my money back and look for someone else to try to fix the recurrent problem, not sure if this will be possible

Terrible – This is terrible. Please ask your builders not to install Eco Garage doors. They are useless. I have an issue with my garage door. They just send video links instead of fixing the issue.

I’d Never use eco garage door again! – Horrendous customer service. After two emails trying to get a new remote for my garage door, they told me they don’t make them anymore. My ONLY option would be to replace the door and happily give me a quote. My door is only 10years old. I got amazing help from a third party remote seller that solved my problem with ease. I’d never get one of their doors again!

Good outcome – Had my kids destroy my garage door by kick ball against it. Reached out to ECO who had someone out within a week to measure for new door and had the door fitted off within 3 weeks. Couldn't ask for a better result. Kids now know not to play soccer against garage door.

Door issue – Would like to share my experience about the Perth office speaking to Jamie on 16th October 2024 over the phone as the Melbourne office was closed, our garage door would not go down and Jamie helped us re program it over the phone, Jamie was so helpful, patient and very professional, and over the phone. I highly recommend this business.
